After their emotional meet, everyone came back to Khanna mansion.

Neil was admiring his house from the doorstep. He can still listen the giggles of childish Neil when he used to run away after watching milk's glass and his mother used to run behind him, he can still listen the cute fights between his mother and Bebe and how his father used to sort it out. He was drowning in his memory lane, a sly smile appeared on his face. After remembering all his childhood memories, he got into the flashback when Avni stepped inside this mansion while holding his hand as they were newly married couple, she was having a charming smile on her face and he was constantly admiring her during that special day as he thought that they both will form a beautiful relation with each other. Though they were strangers at that moment but he was sure that someday there will be immense love in their relation but they weren't able to live their dreams and now it's been four years of their marriage still they are strangers to each other.

Avni was also remembering that day and her eyes welled up but she hid her tears for everyone.

Neil was going through different emotions and Avni noticed that slight change in his expressions. She noticed that his hand was shivering slightly while he was getting scared after thinking what if anyone will snatch his home from him once more. Avni couldn't take it anymore so she held his hand and he looked at her after he felt a warm hand covering his cold one as if assuring him that he is safe in the cocoon of family. He wasn't knowing how to react. Avni thought that he was uncomfortable so she left his hand. Neil felt incomplete, he was already missing the warmth of her hand which gave him a homely feeling but he thought that Avni wasn't comfortable enough with him so he shouldn't force her into anything.

They all entered inside and were stunned when they listened loud music playing there. They all saw that three guys were dancing there and were welcoming Neil. Neil had tears in his eyes when he met his friends DD, Ali and Vidyut after long time. When they stopped dancing they all  ran towards his direction and engulfed him in a group hug.

Ali - We missed you so much bhai.

Neil - Me too.. ( breaking down ).

DD - I completed my promise bro. ( teary eyes ).

Neil smiles after listening him and remembers his last conversation with DD.

Flashback

After coming out from his house, Neil was quite emotional. Though it was not the first time when he was leaving for his duty but somewhere a fear was surrounding him, a fear of not returning back.

Avni's image was flashing in his mind as he can't see pain in her beautiful eyes. He knew that she suppressed her emotions so that he don't feel guilty but she was very sad, in fact she was the  saddest as it was the beginning of their new life but he wasn't able to begin his new life with her. He pulled out a pendant from his pocket. It was a star shaped pendant and he wanted to gift this pendant to Avni during their first night, but he wasn't able to do so due to circumstances.

DD came to meet him, Neil hugged him and gave him the pendant and a letter.

DD -  What's this bro ?

Neil -  Give this to Avni in case I didn't return from the war.

DD - Why are you saying like this ? ( fears ).

Neil - Cos I care for her. Promise me DD you will take care of her in my absence. My family is used to all this, even Avni is used to all this as her father is also in army but today is very special day for both of us and I have to go away from her on our special day. Promise me you will take care of my family and you will give this pendant and letter to Avni in case I didn't return.

DD nodded and hugged him.

After that Neil left.

Flashback ends

Neil - ( while breaking the hug ) Still she waited. ( teary eyes ).

DD - Cos she is a fighter.

Vidyut- What are you guys talking about ?

Neil - Nothing. ( smiles ).

Vidyut- Come bro let's enjoy. After all our Neil is back so dance toh banta hai.

With that they all lift Neil excitedly and started dancing. Neil was very happy after seeing everyone happy but then his gaze shifts on Avni who is standing silently in the corner and watching all this. A small smile was lingering on her face still Neil felt some emptiness inside her. He couldn't see her like that so he gestured DD to drag her here and made her dance. DD followed his gesture and dragged Avni on dance floor and started dancing around her. Vidyut and Ali also joined them, Neil was smiling while seeing this. Shweta saw this and pushed Neil towards Avni. Both were standing closer, opposite to each other. DD pushed him more closer to Avni. Accidently, Neil held her waist while her hands clutched his chest in reflex. They shared an intense eyelock. Ali played the music in background.

Neil held her waist more firmly and entwined his other hand with hers. Even he wasn't knowing why he is doing this but he wanted to make her feel good while Avni was having peace of mind.

They both were melting with the beats and were in their own world. A world where silence was also comfortable.

Neil twirls her around and pulls her in such a way that her back collides with his chest. He wraps his both hands around her waist and she looks at him, again they both shared an intense eyelock.

Junoon hai mera
Banu main tere kaabil
Tere bina guzaara
Ae dil hai mushkil

Their eyelock was broken with the noises of clappings and hootings. Avni pulled away from him gently. Both were missing each other but no one was having courage to say this.

Neil - ( in mind ) Is she upset with me. I guess, I shouldn't have performed with her. Might be she felt awkward. What have you done Neil ?

Avni - ( in mind ) I guess, I got answer of my question. Neil still considers me his wife but what if he did all this for making our family happy.
