Kavin close his eyes irritated from the light enters his eyes like a flash.He close his eyes again blinking them sometimes to fix his view.

He retreat his vision,but frown on spot with the blur figure he was seeing in front of his eyes.

He try to rub his eyes but felt a tight hold over it. He blinked his eyes few times to clear the blur thing and his frown pace out from his face as he see his son on his bed smiling at him.

"papa!! "his son cheered as he found his father open his eyes and was actually seeing him.

Kavin frown and look at his son' s hand who was holding his right hand with firm grip but gentle.

"mumma!! "he yell running out of his father's ward.

Kavin try to warn him ,about falling and speed down his run  but no voice came out, his throat was dry and was hurting badly with even a gulp of saliva.

He examine the hospital's room and saw the tag of 'xxx care hospital ' and realised its the hospital where purvi works.

He try to move his body which was  slowly increasing is uneasiness and was paining by now.

"kavin! "he overhear his wife's voice and look at her who walk to him and caress his hair lovingly.

"you ok? "she ask softly while taking a injection's syring from the nurse standing beside him and injecting in kavin's left hand.

Kavin nod slightly "p-pa-ni"he finally utter asking for water for his dry thorat.

Purvi nod his head and took the glass of water from the table and made him drink a few sips.

Kavin feels the cold water wetting his throat and he finally feel something alive in himself.

He let out a breathe lying down and focus on his body. He has a bandage around his head and he was shirtless a bandage over his right shoulder and he can't even move his hand without pain.

"is -it b-broke "he ask eyeing his right hand.

"no, slight facture in shoulder because of bullet but it will be good in few weeks, just lay down and try to sleep... "purvi informs adjusting his sheet till his naked chest.

"k-kiyu?"he ask and his son peep out from his mother's saree and walk to his father's bed and purvi made him sit on kavin's bed?.

Kavin saw the feared and tired eyes, he smile lightly patting the space near him, indicating his son to lay there, who complied happily laying down and put his head on his father's chest.

Purvi smile sweetly on her both loves
and peck both of their foreheads and let them rest.

Its been four days kavin was in hospital and has gain consciousness .
All children was sent back to their families and the criminals was behind the bars already.

Everything has settled down finally, kavin smile while watching the news as he was unable to sleep after resting for whole day and purvi was out to bring him food and drop kiyansh to his grandparents. He felt at peace how the reporters are explaining about the case and was treating kavin as a victim instead of a criminal.

"tu soya nhi ab tak"kavin shake his head, smile still plastered on his face at his friends presence.

"kyo? "dushu qiestioned and sit near kavin who was leaning on hospital bed.

"mujhe pta tha tu aane wala h, isliye"kavin chuckled shrugging.

"shoulder kaisa h ab? "he ask touching his found softly over his white loose shirt.

"theek h! "kavin said with a warm tone.

"kab tak theek hoga? "dush ask searching for something in his pockets.

"vo toh teri bhabhi btayegi na! "kavin giggle playfully .

"bhabhi se pucha tha, unhone kha ki tu ek hafte se jyada rukega thodi!! "dushyant laugh forwarding a envelop to kavin.

Kavin take it with left hand and dush let him hold the papers and slide out the envelop.

"maybe shayad kl tak main theek ho jau"dush overhear his friend and chuckle at his words. Who anounce his recovery period proudly all by himself after seeing his rejoining letter.

"phle sign krne layak toh hoja "dushyant chuckled snatching away the papers.

"main kr dunga left hand say"kavin protest trying to take back his rejoin letter.

"nhi, no need, main ye bhabhi ko dunga "dushyant said stretching his hand away from kavin's hold.

Kavin frown "phir toh bhul ja mujhe 1 mahine tak"kavin mutter.

"who are you?"kavin kick dushyant playfully at his over acting.

"dafa ho yha se , aur discharge kra mujhe "kavin rose his tone but still laughing.

Dushyant started to walk out when purvi made her way inside with food.

"dushyant bhaiya, aap kab aaye? "purvi ask putting food on a table which was settled along with couch.

"bss thodi der phle, but i have to leave now, ye lijiye apke husband ka rejoining letter "dushyant handed the papers to purvi and wink at kavin before sliding out of ward who was glaring at him hardly.

"kiyu kha h? "he ask as purvi walk to him.

"mom-dad k pass! "she informs serving food for him.

"arey yaar! "kavin make a bored face.

"kl subah mom-dad k sath aa jayega don't worry"purvi says ruffling his hair.

"kyo? "kavin ask confusely, eyebrows knit together.

"apko nhi pta? "she ask with a unbelievable tone.

Kavin shake his head in no " mujhe pta nhi but still i m sorry for that whatever it is"

Purvi click her tongue "like seriously kavin!!  such careless behave ,aapko maine kha tha na don't endanger your life, but aap kisi ki nhi sunte, kisi ki fikr nhi aapko"purvi rise her voice in frustration ,eyes moist already.

Kavin bite his lower lip realise what was the actual matter.

"purvi! You know what mujhe fikr h isilye maine vo sb kiya, kiyu ka school, tumara hospital, sab ki fikr h mujhe, thats why!! Ha vo baat alag h ki hum cid officers ko bina jaan daav pe lagaye kuch nhi milta!"kavin explain softly ,trying to make her understand.

Purvi nod her head wiping her wet eyes "i understand that par ..."she let out her sob which she was holding from so long.

Kavin pull her towards him and rub her back "its fine, theek hu main, don't worry i am here now "kavin chuckle lightly at her behavior.

"aap bohot bure h "purvi complain hugging him tightly.

"i know, but kya kre phas gyi tum"kavin shrug pecking her head with a gentle kiss, letting her pour out her fear and pain.

Kavin bulked his belt and took his jacket to put it over himself while his wife is running behind his naughty son who wasn't ready to wear shirt.

"kiyu !!"purvi stand at a place frustatly and glare at her son who stop running around in whole bedroom .

Kavin adjust his gun and move towards his little worlds and pick kiyansh up from his place.

"kavin your shoulder! "purvi warn frowning.

"its not hurting "kavin mutter kissing his son on cheek lovingly taking shirt from purvi.

"i will get him ready"kavin said putting him on bed and making him wear his shirt.

"papa? "kiyu call looking at his father who was buttoning his shirt.

"Huh? "kavin ask folding shirt inside his school pant.

"aaj apka first day h toh main aapko drop krne jaunga"he said proudly making kavin chuckle.

"kyo school nhi jana aapko? "kavin ask adjusting his tie.

"jana h par aap bhi toh buero jato h par phir bhi mujhe school drop krte ho "the little explain and kavin shake his head, disagree.

"dono bate h alag h, your baby i am papa"kavin mutter combing kiyu's hair.

"par papa, i am a man, i protect mumma for 14 days "kiyu anounce remember his father when he was in hospital while jumping down off bed holding his father's hand to company him downstairs for breakfast.

"is that so, we will ask mumma about that" kavin said putting everything on his wife's shoulder,as he know what she will answer.

Kiyansh remove his hand from kavin's grip and run to his mother.
And as kavin has assume purvi said yes .

After breakfast,both purvi and kiyu drive kavin to buero as his shoulder is still not well, after one month of recovery.

"bye baby, bye purvi "kavin waves back excitedly and blow a flyimg kiss to his loved ones running inside the buero almost jumping.

Purvi shake her head in disappointment, starting the car to drove to his son's school, thinking how much they both her replica of each other.
