Chapter XXVI

A/N: I don't know where to go with this chapter, so sorry if its shit.

Malum paces around in the small confined space he and Erebus are now in, often limping in pain from his right leg due to the battle with the Hulk. A few healing women tended to their wounds - The wounds aren't very extreme as they think but still very much hurts.

Their food is limited, which means they have to earn their food through fights - Along with the fact that they're angry at their father who serves under that damn man in golden robes, they want nothing more but to burn this planet to the ground and get out of here.

The door opens up to reveal the Grandmaster's guards who held the muzzle with a chains attached to them - Malum grumbles but eventually lowers his head for them, put the damn muzzle on, eventually when they're muzzle is on and lead them into The Grandmaster's Chambers.

~°~°~

At the Grandmaster's Chambers Loki, Valkyrie and the dragon's are brought before Grandmaster, who seems angry at the situation — The situation was that his champion, the Hulk, has gone missing and The Grandmaster blames Thor for his missing champion.

"I'm upset!" He began. "I'm very upset." The others stood in front of him as he stood on a levitating floor. "You know what I like about being upset? Blame." He continues. "Right now, that's the mindset that I'm in. And you know who I'm blaming?"

"Grandmaster, I—" Loki spoke up but The Grandmaster stopped him. "Hey! Don't interrupt me!"

Topaz hands him the melting staff, "Why are you handing me the melt stick? He was interrupting. That's not a capital violation." He stated. Topaz let out a huff and brought it back.

The Grandmaster continues on, "My precious champion has come up missing and its all because of that Lord of Thunder. It's all because of him." His eyes focus on Loki. "Your brother. Whatever the story is. Adopted, or complicated. I'm sure there's a big history." And then he focus on Valkyrie , "And your contender."

"My dear friend, if you were to give me twelve hours I could bring them both back to you." Loki spoke up.

"I can do it in two." Valkyrie sassed.

"I could do it in one." The God bargained.

Let's stop there," The Grandmaster stops them, "You know what? I woke up this morning thinking about a public execution. But for now, I'll settle for this sweet little "who's gonna get him first?" So you're on the clock."

"What have you done?" Loki questions the Valkyrie as they exited the chambers with his children behind them.

"I don't answer to you, lackey." She replies.

The God moodily grips her arms, "It's Loki." He tells her. "And you will answer to the Grandmaster." Valkyrie rips his hand off of him, the two hit one another — each blocking one's attack. One punch landed on Loki's face, making tilt his head back. (A/N: That made me snicker when I saw that.)

"Why would you help my brother and my daughter escape with that green fool?" Loki sneers as he unsheathes his two daggers.

"I don't help anyone." Valkyrie mocked as she unsheathed her own daggers.

The two engage in a dagger fight—Loki lunges skillfully at the Valkyrie but she expertly dodges his attacks but Loki grips her arm and notices a unique brand on her arm, "You're a Valkyrie." He breathes out. He then disarms her dagger but with a kick in the gut which slams him into the wall with a grunt and down to his ass. "I thought the Valkyrie all died gruesome deaths?" He snarks but grunts when she slams her knee into his chest.

"Choose your next words wisely." She threatens him.

"Terribly sorry. Must be a very painful memory." Quick as a snake, Loki slammed his palm against her forehead with green magic as her eyes rolled back.

Flashes of image fill his mind after what happens - Images flashed his mind of what happen to the Valkyrie's and Hela. Valkyrie regained back control and fell to her side — Trembling from this visceral memory that she's tried so hard to suppress. She swung her legs through Loki that made him fall back— She straddled him and knocked him out of consciousness.

Moments later in Valkyrie's apartment that's filled with bottles — He was chained up with the dragons holding up the ends of the chain in their mouths. The doors open up to reveal Valkyrie, Thor, and Bruce along with Sitara.

"Surprise!" Loki sang sarcastically.

Sitara grumbles as she nudges her siblings and then explores the apartment, Thor grabs a bottle and tosses it at Loki's head. "Ow!" Loki growls out.

"Just had to be sure." Thor mutters out.

Bruce walks up to the mischief God, "Hello, Bruce." He greeted them with a mischievous smile.

"So, last time I saw you, you were trying to kill everybody. Where are you at these days?" Bruce asks God.

"It varies from moment to moment." Loki stated.

"Sakaar and Asgard are about as far apart as any two known systems. Our best bet is a wormhole just outside the city limits." Valkyrie explains to the group. "Refuel on Xandar and be back in Asgard in around 18 months."

"Nope. We're going through that one." Thor stated, pointed a sword to a large portal famed perfectly in the center at the window. "The Devil's Anus?" Valkyrie questioned.

"Wait, whose anus are we going through?" Banner questioned while getting a snack.

Malum let out a muffle snicker at the name.

"For the record, I didn't know it was called that when I picked it." Thor said.

"That looks like a collapsing neutron star inside of an Einstein-Rosen Bridge." Banner explains.

"We need another ship. That would tear mine to pieces." Valkyrie stated.

"She's right. We need one that can withstand the geodetic strain from the singularity." Thor answered. "And has an offline power steering system that could also function without the on-board computer." Bruce said with scientific explanation.

"And we need one with cup holders, because we're gonna die. So, drinks!" Valkyrie held up a half-empty bottle in her hand.

Banner furrows his brows, "Do I know you? I feel like I know you." He spoke.

"I feel like I know you, too. It's weird." Valkyrie said with a chuckle.

"We need a ship. Need a ship." Bruce tells them.

"There are one or two ships, absolute top-of-the-line model—"

"I don't mean to impose," Loki spoke up, Valkyrie threw a glass next to Loki and smashed behind the wall. Making him and the dragon's flinch. "but the Grandmaster has a great many ships. I may even have stolen the access codes to his security system." He finished off.

"And suddenly you're overcome with an urge to do the right thing." Valkyrie suggested.

Loki scoffed. "Heavens, no. I've run out of favor with the Grandmaster. And in exchange for codes and access to a ship I'm asking for safe passage...through the Anus."

"You're telling us you can get us access into the garage without setting off any alarms?" Thor questioned.

"Yes, brother. I can." Loki insisted.

"Okay, can I just... A quick FYI, I was just talking to him just a couple minutes ago and he was totally ready to kill any of us." Bruce spoke up with the group. "He did try to kill me." Valkyrie added.

"Yes, me too. On many, many occasions." Thor began, taking a quick glance at Loki. "There was one time when we were children, he transformed himself into a snake, and he knows that I love snakes. So, I went to pick up the snake to admire it and he transformed back into himself and he was like, "Yeah, it's me!" And he stabbed me. We were eight at the time." Thor finished off, Loki tried to suppress a smile on his face.

"If we're boosting a ship, we're gonna need to draw some guards away from the palace." Valkyrie stated.

"Why not set the beast loose?" Loki encourages menacingly.

"Shut up." Thor hissed.

"You guys have a beast?" Valkyrie said with a laugh.

"No, there's no beast. He's just being stupid." The Lokidottr tilt their head in agreement. "We're going to start a revolution."

"Revolution?" Banner asks.

"I'll explain later." Thor replied.

"Who's this guy again?" Valkyrie asks.

"I'll explain later." Thor repeated his answer.

In the ground level of the Grandmaster's palace — The brothers along with the dragon siblings (Shapeshift into wolves) were breaking into the area where the ships are located, the dragons kept watch while their father was putting in the codes. "Hey, so listen, we should talk." Thor spoke to his younger brother.

Loki turns to look at him with a tired expression, "I disagree." He declined. "Open communication was never our family's forte."

"You have no idea. I've had quite the revelation since we last spoke." The door opens up to reveal a few guards — Armed with high-tech blasters, the brothers start blasting the guards while the dragon-looking wolves attack the remaining who doges the blasters. The take cover behind the doors, "Odin brought us together," Loki spoke up. "It's almost poetic that his death should split us apart. We might as well be strangers now." They continue to attack the guards until there's none left.

"'Two sons of the crown' set adrift." As he presses the last code in, the door slides in — Before Loki steps in, a guard ambushes Loki with a blaster. But Malum pounced onto the guard with much force and mauled the guard.

"Thought you didn't want to talk about it?" Thor questions as he steps out of the small room.

Splash of blood landed onto Loki's face as he stepped away from the small bloody massacre from his son — "Here's the thing." He spoke as he stepped inside the elevator along with their brother— The sibling will find their way to them. "I'm probably better off staying here on Sakaar." He spoke.

"That's exactly what I was thinking." Thor agrees.

Loki pauses at what he just heard, did Thor just agreed with him for once? "Did you just agree with me?" He ask.

"This place is perfect for you." Thor responded. "It's savage, chaotic, lawless. Brother, you're going to do great here."

Loki squints his eyes at that; "Do you truly think so little of me?"

Thor let out a sigh, "Loki, I thought the world of you. I thought we were gonna fight side by side forever. But, at the end of the day, you're you, I'm me..." He trails off but continues on. "I don't know, maybe there's still good in you, but let's be honest, our paths diverged a long time ago."

"Yeah." Loki nods his head. "It's probably for the best that we never see one another again."

Thor nods, "That's what you always wanted." He pats his brother's shoulder who nods his head, ignoring the aching pain on his shoulder.

A beat of silence fill the air until Thor spoke up; "Hey, let's do "Get Help.""

Loki turns his head, "What?"

"Get help."

"No."

"Come on, you love it." Thor interjected.

"I hate it."

"It's great. It works every time."

"It's humiliating."

"Do you have a better plan?" Thor asks.

Loki pauses; "No."

"We're doing it." Thor stated.

Loki let out a sigh, "We are not doing 'Get Help.'"

~°~°~

As the elevator dinged and slid open; Thor held Loki with the mischief faking a fatal injury. "Get help! Please! My brother, he's dying!" Thor announces as a few Sakaarian guards turn toward Thor and Loki. One guard aims his gun at them. "Get help! Help him!" Thor flings Loki who landed on top of them, knocking them out.

Thor chuckles; "Classic."

Loki groans in pain as he stands up; "I still hate it. It's humiliating."

"Not for me, it's not. Now, which one's the ship she told us to get?" Thor asks him.

"The Commodore." Loki points to a sleek ship with red and yellow paint.

As they walk, Loki silently creates an illusion of himself as he slinks away towards the security system panel. "Though I feel it won't make much of a difference." The illusion Loki spoke up.

Thor stops in his tracks and lets out a heavy sigh, "Oh Loki."

The illusion Loki vanishes when Thor turns to the real Loki; "I know I've betrayed you many times before, but this time it's truly nothing personal. The reward for your capture," He pressed a button that set off an alarm. "will set me up nicely." He concluded with a smile.

"Never one for sentiment, were you?" Thor questions.

"Easier to let it burn." Loki concluded.

"I agree." Thor held up a fob device in which Loki's eyes widened as he searched his body for the Obedience Disk was located on his shoulder just as electricity coursed his body when he fell to the ground.

While Thor approaches him, "Oh, that looks painful," He said, kneeling down. "Oh brother, you're becoming predictable. I trust you, you betray me. Round and round in circles we go." He spoke up. While Loki convulses in agony on the floor.

"See, Loki, life is about, it's about growth. It's about change. But you seem to just wanna stay the same. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you'll always be the God of Mischief, but you could be more. I'll just put this over here for you." He threw the fob miles away from Loki. Making Loki grimace at that. "Anyway, I got plans so good luck.." And like that he left Loki alone to grab The Commodore and flew off.

~°~°~

A few minutes later a small fire portal opens up where the three dragons' siblings step out as they sniff the garage; as he takes a step. A crunch was heard when Malum lifted his large paw as pieces of metal fell from his paw, Loki groaned in relief as the electricity left his body. "Thank you." He breathed out to his son.

"Hey man," A voice spoke up. The youngest and eldest daughter hid behind their father when they saw a rock man and an army behind him. But he seemed harmless. "we're about to jump on that ginormous spaceship. You wanna come?" He asked.

"You do seem like you're in desperate need of leadership." Loki spoke up as he stood up. Sitara squints her eyes as she grips the Obedience Disk and crunches it with her teeth.
