Chapter VII
On Earth in the dead of night in New Mexico Erebus stood on the bluff as she waited for her father's command, the moonlight radiate on her scales. Giving it a glow. Her right eye morphed into her father's as she saw a few men surrounding them. "Sir please put down the spear." A man with an eyepatch told Loki.
Loki eye his scepter for a good minute before blasting an energy at the men just like he did to his children. Every man starts shooting at Loki but he pounce and kill them with his scepter and his daggers. He eye his destruction that surrounded him.
He grabs onto Clint Barton's arm that held his gun, disarming him. "You have heart." He said to him before pressing the tip of his scepter to his chest as he watches Clint's eyes turned black before morphing into blue just like it did to Erebus. He then proceed to it again with the rest of the men.
At the corner of his eyes he saw the man named Nick Fury placing the Tesseract into a briefcase, "Please don't." He told him. "I still need that." He faces the man.
Nick turns to look at the man. "This doesn't have to get any messier." He said to him.
"Of course it does." Loki said. "I've come too far for anything else. I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose."
Erik Selvig then look up at Loki. "Loki? Brother of Thor?" He questioned while standing up. Loki glared at him. Seething at that.
"We have no quarrel with your people." Nick reasoned with him.
"An ant had no quarrel with a boot." Loki snarked.
"You planning to step on us?" He questioned The God.
Loki replied. "I come with glad tidings, of a world made free."
"Free from what?" Nick questioned him.
"Freedom. Freedom is life's great lie. Once you accept that, in your heart," Loki turns and use the scepter to control Erik's mind. "You will know peace."
"Yeah you say peace I kind of think you mean the other thing." Nick said, suddenly a cloud from the Tesseract forms around the building.
"Sir, director Fury is stalling. This place is about to blow. Drop a hundred feet of rock on us." Clints steps in as he eye Nick. "He means to bury us."
"Like the Pharaoh's of Old" Nick remarked.
Erik then types on the computer, "He's right The portal is collapsing in on itself. We've got about 2 minutes before this goes critical." He explains.
Loki then eyes Clint, "Well then." Clint then shot Nick before grabbing the briefcase. As him, Loki and the rest escape SHIELD via the utes. Agent Hill and the agents followed them in hot pursuit, Loki blasts an energy at one of the agents to keep the others away from them. Killing him in in the process.
Suddenly rocks starts falling from the facility being consumed by the Tesseract energy, Loki's ute barley escaped from being cascaded by the rocks. A roar crack the night sky like thunder, Loki looks up to see Erebus hovering above the ute. She slowly lower herself for her father to make his way up to her, using her claws to grip the scepter for Loki to mount her on her back.
A bullet then ricochet off of the dragon's scales, her blue eyes landed on the helicopter in front of her. She bolt towards the helicopter and chomped it through the cockpit, killing the pilot while letting out a guttural screech as she felt the Midgardian's blood drip from her mouth.
Her, Loki and the rest on the utes had escape the facility and towards a hiding place.

In an underground hideout where Loki held Dr. Erik Selvig working on a device, Loki sat and watches the scientist work. The low rumble of the mind-control dragon whose asleep beside him, the God closed his eyes as the scepter glowed before transporting him into another world.
He was decked out in his horned helmet and his armour.
"The Chitauri grow restless." A voice called out in the shadows.
"Let them go at themselves." Loki said. "My daughter and I will lead them into glorious battle."
"Battle?" The Other questioned. "Against the meager might of Earth?"
"Glorious, not lengthy." Loki noted. "If your force is as formidable as you claim."
"You question us? You question him? He who put the scepter in your hand, who gave you ancient knowledge and new purpose when you were cast out, defeated?" The Other interrogated The God of Mischief.
"I was a king!" Loki growled. "The rightful king of Asgard! Betrayed!"
"No doubt you'll be defeated on Earth." The Other said.
"They are a lost people, they mistake selfishness for spirit, when the sky falls it'll be every man for himself." Loki explained.
"How will you rule them then?" The Other questioned The God.
"Unmercifully." Loki reply.
"Your ambition is little, born of childish need. We look beyond the Earth to greater worlds the Tesseract will unveil." The Other explains as Loki notice the staircase that leads up to somewhere.
"You don't have the Tesseract yet." He reminded him, The Other charges towards him, until he is stopped by Loki's scepter. " I don't threaten, but until I open the doors, until your force is mine to command, you are but words." Loki explains to The Other.
"You will have your war, Asgardian." The Other explains. "If you fail, if the Tesseract is kept from us, there will be no realm, no barren moon, no crevice where he can't find you. You think you know pain? He will make you long for something as sweet as pain." He place his hand on Loki's head as The God is transported back on Earth.
Loki breathed heavily he eyes his surroundings, cautious but almost scared. His eyes landed on Erebus's icy blue eyes, she look at him before nodding towards his lap. Almost asking.
"I'll allow it. Just this once." Loki told her.
The dragon adjusted herself before lowering her head onto Loki's lap as she close her eyes. Loki hesitantly lower one of his hand to stroke her snout, his eyes glowed green for a good minute before resorting back to blue.
