Chapter III
Small screech of protest came from the now adolescent dragon siblings, Loki could sworn that a year ago they're the size of a wolf cub, now they're the size of a large dog. The siblings no longer are malnourished, now they're the perfect shape and started to become aggressive as they're growing.
The coronation of Thor had come, Odin had told Loki that his children needed to be chained up until the coronation is over. Which the children...wasn't fond of since they've developed a fear of being locked up and anxiety from being separated from Loki.
It broke his heart as he heard the younglings screeching and holding back from being chained up, Malum even bit one of the guards and hiss at them. When the guards had left the dragons in the temple, the screeching had turn into whining as the dragons lay on the cool ground. The sound of footsteps came before them, they lifted their head to see Loki walking towards them.
They screech in excitement at the sight of their father as they pull on their chains and flapping their wings, Loki quietly shushed them while Sitara place her claws on both of his armor shoulders. He was wearing his ceremonial armor excluding his horned helmet which gives his eldest child access to his short raven hair as she sniffed it, he chuckled as he grabbed her three fingered claws and place her off of him as they landed on the ground but he kept his hand on her head where her horns started to form and small nubs in front of her horns.
"I know this seems drastic," He told the three dragons who stare at him in hope they'll release them from the chains, he sadly shook his head. "It won't be long. When its over, I'll come get you. I promise." And with that he got up and walk out the temple, hearing the sounds of his children letting out whines for him to come back.

The ceremonial hall was livid with Asgardians celebrating the crowing of Thor, many were proud and happy while for Loki he was disappointed and jealous that it wasn't him but his brother Thor. Sure he was the older than Loki and the first-born which makes him the rightful heir, Loki felt like a shadow and an outcast for his brother, family and friends.
Of course that all changes when he found those dragons locked up like a prisoner, abandoned and almost starved to death. He was now a father and promised to give them all the attention they crave, especially his youngest daughter Erebus who's the smallest amongst her siblings. Making her his favorite of his children.
The trickster god watch as his brother made his way towards his father while soaking in the attention, he kneel down placing his helmet and Mjolnir on the ground. He smiled at his mother before giving her a wink, Odin stood from his throne with a thud of his staff Gungnir, the floor fell silent for the king to speak.
"Thor Odinson, my heir," Loki bit the inside of cheek when Odin said that, true Thor was an heir of becoming king of Asgard but he'd wished it was him. "My firstborn. So long entrusted with the mighty hammer Mjolnir, forged in the heart of a dying star, its power has no equal, as a weapon to destroy or as a tool to build. 'Tis a fit companion for a king. I have defended Asgard and the lives of the innocent across the Nine Realms from the time of the great beginning. Though the day has come." The Allfather spoke to his firstborn son, "Do you swear to guard the Nine Realms?"
"I swear." Thor replies.
"And do you swear to preserve the peace?"
"I swear."
"Do you swear to cast aside all selfish ambition and to pledge yourself only to the good of the Realms?"
Thor raised Mjolnir in the air and cried out; "I swear!"
"Then, on this day, I, Odin Allfather, proclaim you," Odin stops at his words, knowing something was wrong. "The Frost Giants!" He exclaimed.
Loki's eyes widen, his children were close to the vault.

Odin and his son enter the weapon vault; the building was covered in snow and frost. The bodies of the Jotuns and Asgardian guards lay dead with frost covering their bodies, Loki's heart beating against his chest as he wonder if his dragons are dead.
He heard cooing noises on his right; he turns to see Malum with his sister the God was relived when they featured no scratches or frost on their small scales, "The Jotuns must pay for what they've done!" Thor said with anger laced in his voice.
"They have paid, with their lives." Odin said, "The Destroyer did its work, the Casket is safe, and all is well."
"All is Well?" Thor questioned, "They broke into the weapon vault! If the Frost Giants had stolen even one of these relics."
"They didn't."
"Well, I want to know why!"
Loki just stayed silent as he just watch his older brother argue with their father, his children stayed behind his legs and stayed silent also.
"I have a truce with Laufey, King of the Jotuns." Odin replied.
"He just broke your truce! They know you are vulnerable!" Thor yelled out.
Odin turned to face his firstborn son, "What action would you take?"
"March into Jotunheim as you once did. Teach them a lesson. Break their spirits so they'll never dare try to cross our borders again."
"You're thinking only as a warrior."
"This was an act of war!"
"It was the act of but a few, doomed to fail."
"Look how far they got!" Thor cried out as he gestured to the wreckage in the weapon vault.
"We will find the breach in our defenses and it will be sealed." Odin rationalize his son.
"As King of Asgard-"
"But you're not king!" Odin yelled out, his voice echoed through the vault. "Not yet." He said in a low voice before leaving a vault.

The roar of Thor carried out across the dining room as he flipped over the banquet which caused it to fell on the floor along with the food that was on the banquet, he panted before walking over towards the stairs and sat down.
Loki walk away from the pillar and towards his big brother, the dragons landed on the stairs before climbing down towards the feast that scatter the ground. Thor saw his younger brother coming towards him. "It's unwise to be in my company right now, Brother." He told him, Loki just stay silent and sat down next to his older brother. "This was to be my day of triumph."
"It'll come." Loki assured him. "In time." Erebus walk towards her father and sat next to him.
The Warriors Three and Sif walk into the Dining room to see the mess that lay on the floor, Loki lean closer to Thor and said; "If it's any consolation, I think you're right. About the Frost Giants, about Laufey, about everything. If they found a way to penetrate Asgard's defenses once, who's to say they won't try again? Next time with an army."
"Exactly." Thor pointed out.
"There's nothing you can do without defying Father." Then an idea struck Thor, Loki manage to catch this. "No, no, no. I know that look."
"That's the only way to ensure the safety of our borders." Thor exclaimed while standing up.
"Thor, it's madness." Loki reasoned with him.
"Madness? What sort of madness?" Volstagg asked, manage to catch Loki saying that. Malum manage to sneak a snack from Volstagg when he wasn't looking.
"We're going to Jotunheim." Thor announced to his friends.
Volstagg let out a scoff at the sound of this; "What?"
"This isn't like a journey to Earth where you summon a little lightning and thunder, and the mortals worship you as a god," Frandal explains, "This is Jotunheim."
"My father fought his way into Jotunheim, defeated their armies and took their Casket. We would just be looking for answers." Thor explained.
"It is forbidden!" Sif exclaimed.
Thor chuckled; "My friends, have you forgotten all that we have done together?" He walked over towards his friends. "Fandral, Hogun. Who led you into the most glorious of battles?"
Hogun replied; "You did."
"And Volstagg, to delicacies so succulent, you thought you'd died and gone to Valhalla?"
Volstagg chuckled at that; "You did."
Thor laughed; "Yes." He then turns to Sif; "And who proved wrong all who scoffed at the idea that a young maiden could be one of the fiercest warriors this realm has ever known?"
"I did." Sif replied.
"True, but I supported you, Sif." He then turns to his friends his little brother. "My friends, we're going to Jotunheim."

The group of six ride out of Asgard and towards the observatory while the three dragons watch from their seat on the statues that hung above Asgard. They watch as their Father and their Uncle Thor ride away with The Warriors Three and Sif towards Jotunheim.
Sitara started to fly off along with Malum; Erebus watch as the bifrost open up and quickly as it appear, it disappear in a blink of an eye. Sitara let out a screech for her sister that said "Let's go." Erebus let out a snort as she spreads her wings and flapped them in a sky and followed her siblings.
