-Steve POV-

Alice's voice sent chills down my spine when she said that she was shot at. No one is allowed to shoot at my Alice.

Fury called Romanov, Barton, and I down to the location of the shooting.

I ran to my room, grabbing my shield and a handgun. I thought about changing into my uniform, but I don't want to waste time. I have to get to Alice.

I rush out the door of my room, and collide with Natasha. She's dressed in her black jumpsuit and had two handguns, one in each hand. Right behind her was Clint.

"I heard the shots too. They were coming from the hallway where Alice's room is." Natasha says.

"They aren't from SHIELD." Clint speaks up.

"Obviously, Barton." I answer sarcastically.

We begin to run, trying to get to Alice before anything happened to her. As we got closer, the gunshots got louder. Voices began to join in the mix.

"Are you sure this is her, boss?" One man said.

"I think I can tell who my own twin sister is, you idiot." Another man, supposedly the boss spoke.

Thad when it dawned on me. Alice wasn't lying at all. That man must be her twin brother. I loaded my gun and raised it, prepared to shoot.

I quickly round the corner, and pull the trigger, shooting and killing one of the thugs.

A loud crash echoes through the hallway. I raise my shield, as the noise did startle me. When everything settled and the noise quiets for a few seconds. I got concerned.

Alice's ear splitting scream echoed down the hallway. Natasha turned to Barton who had panic written across his face.

A metal armed man came out from Alice's room, dragging her by her long brown hair. Behind him was a tall man with the same shade of brown hair that Alice had. He must be her brother.

The metal armed man pulled out a gun and placed the barrel against Alice's temple.

"No! Don't touch her!" I yell, taking a shaky step forward.

"Ahh, Captain America! It's delightful to see you again! I hope you don't mind me, just stopping by to pick up what's mine." Her brother snarled.

"If you even-" I began.

The metal armed man pushes the gun hard against Alice's head. I shutter at the sight.

"She's your sister! How could you ever do something like that to her?" I call out.

"She was my sister. Now she's nothing." He snarls in reply.

A loud gunshot rings out in the hallway. I jump back before I realize that could've been the gun that was up against Alice's head.

When I look up, I see Agent Hill holding a gun that was pointed towards the brother. He grabs his shoulder and hits the ground. Agents surround us and take the men into custody.

Alice stands up, shaking like a scared little puppy. I run towards her and she does the same to me. We meet together in a hug. My shield still on my arm, it wraps around her back, shielding her in case one of the men tried to shoot at her.

"You okay?" I ask.

"No, my twin brother just tried to kill me." She replied, holding tightly to me.

"Well, we've got him now." I mumble.
