It had been so long since Evangeline Merrick and Nicholas Mimsy-Porpington last saw each other, 500 years to be precise.

Nicholas was a well-known ghost around the wizarding world, the ever chivalrous ghost of the Hogwarts Gryffindor House, whilst Evangeline had all but disappeared from the wizarding world, preferring to live in the vampire world than wizarding and muggle alike.

Both of them rather oblivious to the existence of the other until, much like chance they cross paths in the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
