Damn. Damn. Damn. I'm quite proud of this XD This took way longer than it looks, like 5-6 hours. There are some areas I'd love to improve, however, so yeah. I'd love to start drawing background on my pictures. However, it takes way too long, makes the paper die and I have no ideas for a creative background. So yeah. This is not creative either lol. I'll probably do a digital "creative" piece because I'm kinda getting back into my comfort zone with traditional art.
Okay, so there's an issue that I would like to address. This always REALLY bugs me. Art supplies DO NOT make the artist. Half the time I draw on printer paper with kid pencils! And Procreate really is ten bucks, which is the equivalent of ONE copic marker, so there's really no comparison here. This entire picture was made with the 24 pack of crayola colour pencils. It's not that great because I'm improving as an artist, and I'm still very much a novice/beginner (and now I see tons of areas I could have added more depth and stuff), but I just wanted to make a picture. I was testing out crayola colour pencils out, because I know they are amazing for their price, and one of my favourite brands, and I decided not to use any other brands, because why not? Don't complain you can't make good art because you have bad supplies. This packet of crayola pencils cost two Australian dollars.
Sorry if I offended anyone. I'm not aiming to, I'm simply saying, you don't need prismacolours, Derwent studio, Faber Castell Polychromos or anything like that to make good art. In fact, if you're starting out, it's not a good idea to get the most expensive stuff. It's best to start with the cheapest supplies to practice, and I totally recommend crayola products for this. Sorry for the long chapter. Bye guys!
