Fly away like a bird (extended version)

Witha heavy sight a blond lady took a few steps that leads her on aporch. A clinking of her keys in her pocket sounded trought the nightwhen she was looking for them. Lisa knew she saw her before, but shedidn't knew where. But the way her hair were trimmed was so familiarto her. She wanted to tap on her shoulder and asks her but she wasalways so far away.

Thelady finally opens the door, took down her coat and left the purse bythe door. It was so quiet in the house, she couldn't even hear herfoot touching the floor when she was heading to the living area togave food to a small blue little bird in a cage. It was so odd thatthe woman haven't seen Lisa yet, even when she was following her fromthe moment she get out of her car. Lisa was getting nervous, herstomach was trembling from fear but she couldn't tell why, there wassomething that makes her very uncomfortable about that situation andvery anxious.

Shetake a look around the place, to recognize some stuff such as photoson the mantelpiece, or books in shelves. She probably was here inthis place before this moment. But she couldn't remember when. Maybewhen she was passing the house on the street so she saw that roomtrough the huge window? Or maybe she was there at some Christmasparty and this blond lady was some old friend of her? What was itwith that place that she felt so familiar about it? She just couldn'tremeber.

Thelady finally took a few steps back from the cage surprised as Lisawas by the sounds of someones moaning that they heard from upstairs. She was watching the lady with a fear, she felt the tension, theanger that was slowly filling the room, the blond woman probably knewalready what was going on upstair or maybe she suspected it for awhile. Lisa was getting scared, the lady was scaring her but shedidn't wanted to leave, she wanted to knew what was going on. Maybeit was their fantasies, maybe it was nothing. There is no way thatupstairs is someone having sex, who would it be? Her husband? Her sonwith his girlfriend? Lisa just wanted to find out, but she waswaiting for the lady to make a first move.

Blondiemde few steps to the staircase and then stopped to take a lookupstairs, maybe she was waiting for someone to appears up there, butno one did. And then the lady starts slowly taking step after step,Lisa knew every sqeak of the stairs before it even happend and thatwas scaring her out, she felt like she knew everything about house, but she couldn't remeber how is that even possible. And here they wasat the top of the stairs heading to the door at the end of the hall. The hall seemed to her endlessly long and when they finally reach thedoor and before the lady even touch the door knob she gave herselfone look in the mirror that was on the wall next to the door and theymet with eyes. Same stormy grey eyes, with same scared and angrylook in them. Lisa was looking at herself like there never was ablond lady that she was following, it was always her.

„Next!"Calls out employee that was giving orders to the queue that Lisa wasstanding in, absolutely disturbing her weird memory she just had.

Shetook another step to the window where her daily dose of pills waswaiting for her. Before she could take the small cup full ofcolourful lentils of happiness, the voice of the old lady stopped herfor a second.

„Howare you doing today, Lisa? I need to tell you that you are doingreally good, they cut off some of your pills for a smaller amount."She gave her a smile, that seems so odd to her, she always thought itwas the one that her grandma used to gave her, but now for the firsttime she saw those little sparkles of fear that was hiding behindthat polite smile. She didn't knew why, she did nothing wrong and shewas lock in here because she was betrayed by everyone she ever loved.

„Thanks."She mumbled and ate the pills all at once with a small sip of water.

Oneof the employees takes her back to her room as they always do.

Witha small sigh, she sits down on the chair as she had in habit of doingafter every dose of her pills.

Shetried to focus on things but already knew that its a lost fight forher senses, the lentils already started working on her.

Herbody was sinking in imaginary water, her lungs were gasping for abreath and she couldn't fight it. But after all, she still enjoyedthis feeling. It was her moment and that was all that matters to her.

Shesaw him again. With her. She felt the pain, she heard her heart beingbroke into thousand pieces, falling loudly on the ground. She heardthose screams again, saw herself grabbing that vase and broke it onthe girls head, take one of those shards and slipped his throat openwith it. She almost smelled again the metal smell of the blood thatwas on her hands and everywhere around them. In her whole life shenever felt such a relief and one part of her wanted to felt thatfeeling again, wanted to see the fear in his eyes, wanted to feelthat power she had after someone's elses life.

Theworst thing about that situation was that she would rather be closedin a cell with criminals than in this horrible psychiatric asylumwith freaks. At least they gave her those pills that make her gothrough that wonderful moment of power again and again.

Shewas stuck in this cell like a small blue bird in a cage. Like thatone small blue bird in a cage that she saw before it happend, hersmall blue bird she bought for him. And all she wanted, after all,was to fly away like a bird.Witha heavy sight a blond lady took a few steps that leads her on aporch.
