Night-time rolls around, and they finally get to a weird laboratory. There are two huts on each side of the lab. It is a remote area full of trees, dirt, insects, and many other things. Ms. Kelsey exits the car following Ava, then James. The smell of pine trees and nature smack them in the face. Ms. Kelsey once again smiles and turns to the two confused students.

         "Smickns you have the hut on the right, Calvin you have the hut on the left. At precisely 7:00 a.m meet us in the lab, for your practice. Then, the day after tomorrow we will start the experiment. Any questions." Ms. Kelsey explains.

        Ava slowly rose her hand. "Yeah, where are all the other people?" She asks slightly tilting her head.

         "I will explain that in the early meeting. Now go get some rest! I want you guys to win this with a healthy first day!" Ms. Kelsey replies while clapping her hand. Then the three parted ways to rest up for the upcoming morning.

            *The next morning*

       Ava wakes up to the sound of birds chirping, and a beam of sunlight coming through her hut's window. She groggily gets up out of bed and gets ready for the day. As she walks out of the wooden hut, a smell lingered around mixing with the smell of nature. Ava follows her nose into the lab. 

      The lab was pretty empty, white corridors and weirdly shaped doors. Her footsteps echoed through the building until she came to a hard stop. In front of her eyes was a buffet of all sorts of foods, most of them are not normal for breakfast while the others fitted for the time. Ava's mouth watered at the delicious smell of the food. She was tempted to grab something but, she stayed in her spot until Ms. Kelsey came.

        "Ah, you're up early Ms. Smickns. If you're ready for breakfast, we will start our training once James arrives." Ms. Kelsey says walking over to the buffet.

        "Shouldn't James eat too?" Ava asks gazing at the woman. Ms. Kelsey smiles.

       "Of course! You should go get him then!" Ms. Kelsey replies. Ava shrugs and turns around and starts walking back to the huts. She walks up to James's hut and right as she was about to knock the door swings open almost hitting her face.

       "What are you doing here?" James asks coldly. Ava rolls her eyes and starts walking away.

        "Your lucky I am nice enough to put up with you." Ava snaps walking back towards the lab along with James.

      They munch on their food when Ms. Kelsey appears and sits at the table with her clip board in hand. She takes out a pen and then directs her attention back at the kids.

     "Do you mind if I ask you two a few questions." Ms. Kelsey asks slightly tilting her head.

     The kids both nod. 

     "Favorite food."

      "Pizza," Ava replies quickly.

       "Cake," James says.

       "Favorite fictional character."

        "Ron Weasley from Harry Potter," Ava replies.

         "Jason the Killer," James replies.

         "Ok, finally would you rather be a human or a fantasy character if fantasy character which one?" Ms. Kelsey asks.

         "I honestly would stay human, but that's just me."

         "Vampire," James says sternly. 

       "Thank you, children practice will start once you have finished breakfast." Ms. Kelsey says leaving the area.

       The teens finish their food and make their ways towards the lab where Ms. Kelsey is waiting for them. Two desks were set up to look at a t.v screen. Ava and James get the hint and sit down in their seats. 

        "This video clip will show you the main just of the test... enjoy."

*Clip starts*

      A group of teens are relaxing at school when a nuclear bomb hits all of a sudden, turning most of the kids in the group into mythical creatures. When the dust clears the students to find themselves in a world they never knew existed. With the whole world in ashes, who can survive? Who will murder? Who will rebuild the world!?

*Clip ends*

       "This is what the start of the experiment will be. Once the nuclear bomb hits, your test to survive will start.... so that will be your practice! You will get use to the virtual world and tomorrow at 12:00 p.m the bomb will hit and you shall start. The other kids in this experiment will be in the school to, yet you won't find out who they are until the experiment starts. Goodluck!" 

       Suddenly a group of security guards came and tranquilized their bodies and placed them onto beds. Ava looks around confused and then they place a helmet on her. There was a sound of typing and a few bleeps and bloops here and there. Then a buzzing sound and then the world around Ava turned pure white. Then pixels surrounded her as she suddenly appeared in a chair in a classroom. Ava curiously looks around to see where her partner has gone. Suddenly a pink haired girl with curls pokes Ava on the shoulder.

       "Ava~ You are zoning out again!! Stop spacing out and work on our project~" The pink haired girl says cheerily. 

     "Oh, sorry!!" Ava says. 'This must be an NPC... just play along or the experiment will probably go wrong.' Ava thinks then starts sketching. OncE.... Error. Error. Errrrrrr-

*You Have Entered Ava's Point Of View.*

       Odd, Seems like an actual high school classroom. Where did James go through- OW Error?!?! What the-

    "ALL STUDENTS EVACUATE THE BUILDING EMEDATLY!" A voice in the intercom booms. Oh no... did the system break down and we are starting the test early??!?! I then feel a hand grab around my wrist and start dragging me out of the building. 

      "You must be another kid in this experiment. I am confused also... come on before we die before we even start." The person says continuing to drag me out of the school. We run to a nearby park hearing explosions everywhere. I look over at the tall guy with blonde hair and orange eyes. He smirks at me and we look around.

     "What about our partners?!" I say worriedly. I look around then start running when a sudden explosion knocks me off my feet. The ground around me and the boy were now unseeable we are surrounded by dust and rubble. As the smoke clears I feel a hand pick me up back to my feet. I look at the boy and widen my eyes. "Whoa?! Did you always have wolf ears and a tail?!" I ask slightly tilting my head.

     The boy looks at me and then touches his hair and slightly jumps a little. Then he smirks. "I assume it's because when they asked us what fantasy character I wanted to be I said half wolf... cool! Even my clothes changed!! You look the same, except your outfit is different... What fantasy character are you-" 

      "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" A familiar voice yells. The boy and I look in the direction of the yell and like a flash, James appears. 

       "AVA I WAS WORRIED HALF TO DEATH- I mean come on, I don't wanna lose this because of your weak ass." James grunts. The boy by me starts laughing.

      "So this must be your partner!! What a shame he is a vampire. Oh and I see you brought my partner along!! We should all be allies!!" The boy chirps. 

        "NO-" 

        "Sure!!" I interrupt James. The boy smiles and the girl silently nods.

        "My name is Carson Thompsin. The emo-ish girl over there is Kristin McCallister. Now let us start our adventures!" Carson yells jumping up. He then starts running towards the town and I start following him also to see if we can find some supplies. As I start to catch up to our new two teammates when I feel a hand grabs my wrist. I gaze behind me to see dead red eyes looking at me.

      "What is it, James?" I ask slightly tilting my head. He stares at me for a second then looks over at our partners. "Look, James... if this is still about that day I am really-"

       "NO!... no, it is not that... its just really hard to trust them... its better if we keep an eye on them, you out of both of us needs to be really careful! You are still human." James growls. I smile at him. 

       "Do not worry! I have experience!" I chirp- Rebooting 3rd POV.... Restarting system... System upgraded.

     *You have entered 3rd POV*

        The two partners make their way towards the rubble of a supper market where their new allies were scavenging for leftover food and supplies. Suddenly a small cry is heard from the rubble. Ava quickly rushes to the place where the crying came from. She then finds a small little puppy. She picks up the small dog and then a name tag starts hovering over the pup. It says 'Ava's Dog press to name.' Ava then presses the name tag and a huge keyboard appears in front of her. She then proceeds to type in a name for the small German Shepard puppy.

        "Wow, Cookie... what an original name." The girl named Kristen says dully.

         "I thought you never knew how to use electronics Ava?" James questions.

          Ava sighs and looks at the boy and plasters a smile on her face. "I have not used one before, but that does not mean that I have not learned about it in a book." She then carries the pup toward the sidewalk and sets her down. 

         "Now, let's start getting supplies!"
