I Corinthians 3:14 and 16-17

"If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward."

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"

"If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

(Many things can easily defile the temple of God, which is your body. Sexual immorality, self-harm, over--indulgence in food or drink, unhealthy substances, etc. We are not to destroy our own bodies. We do not own our bodies: God does.)
