"AH IF IT ISN'T REYNA DE MARTEL."

Potions class was one of Reyna's favorite subjects. She always had a fun time in that class, especially when she partnered with Rafael last year and made a polyjuice, secretly taking some for pranking use.

They pretty much used it to prank back at the Marauders. Well, mostly Finn.

She showed up to class early and sat at her favorite spot. "Professor. What are we learning today?"

"The undetectable Potion," Slughorn answered brightly, glad that there was at least one student or one of many that enjoyed his classes.

The De Martel got her textbook in front of her when ready.

"You're here pretty early." Regulus came by and sat his stuff down right beside her. More students came in a few minutes later after he came in.

"I like this class more than I like divination." Reyna shrugged, recalling what the Professor's words were. Regulus seemed to remember as well because his cheeks started to have color.

The Professor said the same words to himself moments later after he confronted Reyna.

"Regulus are you alright?" Reyna frowned at his dazed expression. The boy snapped out of it and looked back at his friend's worried expression.

"Y━Yeah, I'm fine."

The blonde hummed and went back to flipping through the pages of her textbook. Regulus turned away and let out a sigh of relief.

After the class introduction, they immediately began to work on their assignment in class.

Together they got to work on their assignment. Reyna gathered the ingredients and Regulus began to cut them right away.

"It says to stir counterclockwise every five minutes," Reyna observed the textbook before doing what it said.

Both of them stood in front of the cauldron but not too close to get the potion all over them. Reyna could feel Regulus' eyes on her and the blonde sighed, "What is it Reg?"

"I should've asked sooner but...how are you? With Jasper married and working at the ministry and Andrea disowned."

"The house is quiet now, then again it's not like my parents are never home but it was home with them by my side. Now my brother's changed and Andrea isn't there so who do I have left?"

Regulus couldn't stop himself as the words left his mouth. "You have me."

The Black immediately tried to come up with an excuse to backtrack his words. Instead, Reyna embraced him in a side hug and smiled at him. "Of course, I have you, just like you have Reggie."

And there Regulus Black goes into love town, again. How can someone so kind and genuine be a part of his life? Especially when he lived with a bunch of maniacs like his mother, father, his aunt and uncles, and Bellatrix.

"If anything I feel guilty asking about your wellbeing. Both our relatives got disowned. Andromeda and Andrea always stuck together growing up."

The dark-haired boy's lips curled into a smile, "R+R and A+A, you'll never see one without the other."

Reyna's face broke into one of fondness, her mind traveled way back to when they were all just children. Bellatrix, Andromeda, Narcissa, Regulus, Sirius, and herself played hide and seek in the mansion while their parents would be in the basement having meetings with a 'guest'.

"I wish things weren't so complicated, you know?" Reyna sighed sadly. She looked down to see that their potion was finally completed and ready to be overviewed by Professor Slughorn.

Slughorn came over and looked at their motion. He gave them both large grins. "Excellent! Excellent both of you. I see you are still partners like last year and the year before."

His eyes glinted curiosity for the future of the two. Horace wondered if Regulus and Reyna would seem to come to terms with their feelings. Even Professors knew a mile away that the two are utterly infatuated with each other.

THEIR FIRST HOGSMEADE TRIP FINALLY CAME and Regulus was about to shit his pants. He didn't know shit about girls and what they liked. The Black may have grown up with three girls but he never paid attention to what they liked.

"Mate you look like you are about to pass out." Rafael was currently picking out an outfit for Regulus, stating how his outfit choices are 'basic'.

"Just be yourself." Finn Nott tried to calm his friend down.

"S━Should I get her flowers?"

The boys only shook their heads, a sign that meant no. "It's chilly today so bring a jacket. You'll need it."

"What if I mess up?

"You won't mess up, mate. Deep down Reyna feels something for you even if she won't admit it out in the open. And this girl is like a sister to me so I wouldn't trust her with anyone but you." Rafael patted his back.

Regulus felt touched by his words until Zabini squeezed his shoulder and gave him a tight-lipped smile. "If you do end up together someday don't break her heart."

REYNA WORE A GREEN JUMPER AND LONG SOCKS PAIRED WITH A SKIRT. She then puts on a black jacket for the cold weather outside.

When she exited the castle alone ( ━ Sonia was already going with someone ) the blonde saw Regulus standing there and immediately started chatting.

Students went to the carriages and Regulus was the first to help her inside. Reyna thought it was sweet and gentlemen like him. To be frank, her stomach had this funny feeling inside.

They went inside and closed the door only for it to swing open to enter Sirius and James.

"Ah, if it isn't my baby brother and future sister-in-law." Sirius smirked, noticing how close they were sitting together. He knew they were not together yet but he wanted to tease.

"Sirius shut up." Regulus' pale cheeks coated pink in embarrassment. Reyna just laughed nervously and placed a piece of hair behind her ear also to hide her discomfort.

James greeted the De Martel, "Snivy hasn't been bothering you at all has he?"

"No James, but thanks for asking."

The youngest Black looked mildly confused and annoyed, "You told me he wasn't a problem."

Reyna looked at her friend apologetically, "I didn't want to worry you."

Sirius gave his brother a reassuring face, "Relax, Reg she handled the situation quite well....even threatened to punch his face." he erupted into chuckles.

"If he does bother you tell us because we will gladly prank him back," James stated.

Regulus didn't bother to say anything else during the ride, he refused to talk around his older brother as a way of cutting him off. The Black also felt a bit of jealousy when Reyna would laugh at something Sirius would say.

As for Reyna, she made friendly conversations with Sirius and James knowing that Regulus was stubborn to crack out of his shell.

Once they arrived Regulus was already dragging Reyna away from the two Gryffindors. The girl let out a shriek of surprise. "What the fuck?!"

After distance lengths and further down to Hogsmeade he turned to her, hurt written all over his face. "Why the hell didn't you tell me he confronted you?"

"As I said, I didn't want to worry you, and it wasn't a big deal in the first place!" Reyna stated. The girl was baffled by his attitude.

"Oh because Sirius was there to save the day huh?" Regulus seethed, envy and frustration rolled off his body and Reyna stepped back and scoffed.

"They were thereby coincidence! What the hell are you trying to say?"

Regulus let out a breath of anger and he could tell his insecurities were getting the best of him. In their eyes, he knew that Sirius was so much better than him.

Deep down Regulus knew that Sirius would always be better than him because many besides his family preferred his brother over him. 'Mind flashing back moments ago to how she interacted with Sirius.

"I don't even like Sirius like that!" Reyna's face became aghast like she swallowed a lemon. "He's like an older brother to me."

And that's when Regulus knew he fucked up. Again.

She let out a huff of frustration and glared at him, "Look I'm sorry, I should have told Reg, but that doesn't mean you have to act like an arsehole!"

Reyna stormed away leaving Regulus standing there stunned. Then moments later when she was completely out of view, he facepalmed and let a frustrated yell.

"dammit."
