As if it were a knee jerk reaction, Minako felt something resonate within her chest and began to run towards Ichi No Hashi Park. Her friends might be in danger if she stayed put for much longer and, wanting to keep all of them safe and sound, Minako ran breathlessly towards the park, her cat following her. She felt like there were eyes on her, which made her think about the infestation of purple moths from days before. They inspirited the innocent and took over their bodies, turning them into monsters.

Minako looked behind herself with a nervous smile, waiting for somebody to talk to her and let her know of the danger they may or may not be in. As she reached the park, Minako heard bloodcurdling screams as families and children ran their way out of the usually safe park.

"Mina-chan! There's an enemy in the park! You need to help us!" Rei's voice shouted from the communications watch on the blonde's wrist.

Minako blushed a beet red upon hearing Rei's voice. "No need to worry, Rei-chan! I'm coming to you right now!" The love obsessed teen told her best friend and crush. "Venus Crystal Power! Make Up!" She shouted, holding her hand in the air as an orange star flashed on her chest.

As Sailor Venus, Minako madly rushed towards her friends in an attempt to help them. Vaulting over a fence, she found herself in the middle of an oval that seemed like it stretched infinitely in all directions. With a grunt, the Guardian of the planet of Love bit down on her lower lip.

"Rolling Heart... Vibration!" She yelled, forming the shape of a heart with her index fingers and flinging the newly formed shape at the enemy's illusion. As the heart broke through the illusion, the blonde ran towards the shadow of a grey cat who had taken the form of a huge tiger due to the magic placed on it.

"VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!" Venus shouted as loud as she could, drawing a rose adorned whip downwards in a speedy manner and inflicting the enemy with an injury under the magic. She vaulted over the enemy's head. "Whew, I made it just in time!"

"Venus!" Sailor Moon mused in surprise, a smile on the odango wearing blonde's face.

"Sailor Mars, go for it!" Venus shouted at the Guardian of War. "Fling your attack at the enemy's chest!"

The serious yet fierce Guardian nodded in response to what the blonde said. With a jump into the air, the young woman created a ball of fire with her hands. Bringing her arms down, she screamed, "Mars Snake Fire!" She made sure to aim the blast directly at the monster's chest. Coming down from the sky, she made sure to add, "Mercury, your turn."

The blue haired guardian of knowledge nodded. "Everyone, I'm creating a shield." A visor appeared on Mercury's face and she span her left arm in a circle. "Hyperspatial Sphere, Generate!" She shouted, creating a shield of her friends to hide behind. Biting down on her lower lip, she aimed a volley of water at the atavistic monster, with a yell of, "Mercury Aqua Mirage!"

Mercury nodded at Jupiter to take the field, to which the tall brunette agreed. She called on the power of her planet from the electrical powered antenna on her tiara. With a grit of her teeth, the Guardian of Courage shouted, "Supreme Thunder!"

As the electricity came into contact with the monster's body, Tuxedo Mask theorised that it was his turn to step in. "Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber!" was what the Prince of the Earth called out to summon a bomb which he flung at the enemy's chest. "Sailor Moon, go!"

"Chibi Moon?" The Guardian of Love and Justice called for her future daughter. Both gripping their Eternal Tiares, the women yelled out, "Starlight Honeymoon Double Therapy Kiss!"

Their attack had been so close to defeating the enemy, but four lights appeared out of nowhere. They jumped down and revealed themselves as Guardians.

"Princess," the pink haired girl stated, with a look at Chibi Moon.

"You came to help as well?" Chibi Moon cocked her head to the side in confusion. "Ceres, Juno, Vesta... and Pallas. You three can go home. I'm sure we'll need your assistance at a later time, but right now we're fine. I'm sorry to worry you four."

"Lady, the enemy is about to—" Ceres began, but was cut off by Chibi Moon.

"Let's do this, you four," was all the future princess of Earth said. "Come, gather here with me!"

Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta gave the Princess a happy smile.

"PINK LADIES' FREEZING KISS!"  The five Guardians shouted, freezing the atavistic monster and changing it back into its original form. The purple gas that was surrounding the cat became a moth and left to find its master.

The four Guardians of the planetoids left, leaving the other six and Tuxedo Mask to wander around.

Minako walked home alongside Rei, who was constantly looking away from the blonde. Minako felt slightly bothered by this, but decided that it was best not to mention it at all, in fear of upsetting the Shinto priestess. With a nervous smile, Minako looked up at her friend and looked back down again. Artemis followed behind the girls with an air of curiosity of what was happening between the two.

When Minako made it home, she and Rei parted ways, leaving the blonde standing in thought. She thought over the events that had just transpired. Maybe there was something that her best friend wasn't telling her. She knew she needed to tell the religious female what the dreams had awakened in her eventually, but she was not comfortable confessing how she felt just yet.

Minako changed out of her uniform and into some fleece pyjamas, fluffing her hair as she did so. She looked herself over in the mirror before heading downstairs to make herself some dinner. Makoto had given her some recipes that she could use for her favourite curry, so the blonde was going to cook that tonight.

Thank you, Mako-chan, she thought to herself as she grabbed the ingredients and began to fall into a trance.

The violet eyed silhouette embraced the blonde female. Their dresses lightly touched one another as they danced. A small smile was on the blonde's face.

"Vee..." the silhouette murmured. "Tell me your name."

"But you know it already, Mars, just as I know yours. My name is Minako, Crown Princess and Heir to the throne of Planet Venus, guardian goddess of the princess of the Moon, Serenity."

*Minako Aino, stay away from Rei Hino. When you are around the princess of Mars, only tragedy will befall Rei Hino.*

As the voice said this, the ground crumbled beneath both girls.

"Mars! Nooo!"

"It's burning!" Minako shouted to herself as she smelt the food. "I can't let it burn..."

Rei-chan, Minako thought in the back of her head. Please be alright...
