TW// Swearing, and Savian.

\Chapter five: Adventurers? "Don't."/

Sun rays hit me through the tent, casting a hazy yellow glow over everything- which is just the tent floor. They didn't give us beds. Odd, as we're setting off to 'kill a corrupted Goddess' or something along those lines, wouldn't they want to give us good sleep? Eh. Who cares. I yawned as I stretched outmy arms with a pop. I stepped outside the tent, to no one, great start to the day. I stretched out my wings, their feathers rustling as I stretched out my body more—

"...ow." A voice grumbled, pushing my wing inwards. Manzia.

I looked at him, then looked away. My wings retreated to behind me as they draped across my back like a cloak.

"You're not even gonna say sorry?" Manzia asked, his face scrunching up in confusion.
"No. Fuck you." I gave in reply simply.

Manzia scoffed as I walked over to the extinguished fire, the smell of ashes hitting my nostrils, I snorted sharply, scrunching up my face as I quickly went away from the fire and a few feet into the field instead. I didn't even get that far before four horses came bounding into view with guards atop them.

"These are your horses. You travel today. Get moving." One of the guards said gruffly.
"Wait- now?" Manzia asked, staring at the guards in disbelief.

The guards didn't answer, just got of their saddles and started walking back. Manzia turned to me with a confused look, I shrugged at him. I knew nothing.

"Just wake up the other two," I stated simply.
"I am not touching that Prince's tent. Hell to the no." Manzia stated.
"Oh My-" I sighed, what a child... "Just kick it or something!" I told him.

Manzia scoffed then turned and walked to the tents. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention to the horses. But my attention was pried away quickly. It's just horses. Why do I need to look at horses?

"Hey. Random ass question!!" Manzia called to me.
"WHAT?" I snapped back at Manzia.
"Jeez... feisty much! Anyways... what day ans year is it?!" Manzia called out.
"...ARE YOU DUMB?" I snapped at him again.
"YES." Manzia snapped back.
"...oh." I murmured to himself. "It's September 15, 2021!" I called to him.
"TTTHHAAANNNKKKSSSSSS!" Manzia yelled.
"Oh my Hades, SHUT THE FUCK UP-" Savian snapped out.
"NO, YOU SHUT UP, YOU PRICK!" Manzia snapped back at him. The two dove into useless bickering. I sighed in irritation, this was the worst...
"Uh... guys? Can we tone it down? Please?" Amber's voice called out softly. The two assholes didn't silence.
"OI! BRANLEUR! SHUT UP, WOULD YOU?!" I snapped at the both of them.

The two shut up, only giving a grumble of defiance. I sighed, walking over to... a horse. It's black. Okay, cool. I put my foot into a stirrup and heaved my body up onto a horse.

"Now what the fuck do I do..." I murmured to myself.
"Ay! Wing-bitch! What're you doing?!" Savian called.
"We go on horses. So I am on a horse. Get your royal ass on one." I said simply. How to horse ride...
"Ew— whu- HEY!!! PUT ME DOWN YOU BRUNETTE BASTARD!" Savian yelled out. My eyes flicked up to the angry, pissy, stupid royal being slung over Manzia's shoulder. Manzia dropped Savian near a horse before getting on one himself.
"Uh... isn't that a little mean?" Amber said.
"Get used to it, sweetie. This is life now." I muttered. I hadn't been around these fuckers for more than a day to know I hated them.
"Mhm. Whatever." Manzia murmured, somehow being able to drive the horse forwards. So did Amber. Me an Savian where left stuck.
"Do you not know how to ride a horse? A HORSE?" Manzia asked sarcastically.
"Fuck off, branleur..." I murmured.
"I'll teach you! Okay, so—" Amber started.

(Time skip. Nuh uh. No training writing.)

The path through the forest was dark, even with the sun high above, it only spotted the ground in it's shapes of light occasionally. Yet, you could still see the torn bark of the oak trees. Every upturned pebble on the floor. Every stick and leaf, every bush and shrub. We kept riding.

"How much longer?" Savian complained for the tenth time.
"Shut up." I snarled.

The tree's randomly thinned down to just a few stumps, the sun hitting everything and showing the damaged woodland. The grass waved, lacking flowers, only a large expanse of green.

"WOW!" Amber called in childish glee. "Look!!!" She exclaimed, pointing into the distance.

Large and towering, yet shrouded in shadows. A city. A large, very large, city.

"...what the Hell?" I mumbled.
