Lyla (15) and her little brother Talon (7) were the first of many children to wash up on HULA island (Hated, unwanted, lonely and abandoned)

Ava (7) the little girl that washes up next to Max (16).

Talon and Ava form an adorable friendship that makes it hard to not ship them together.

Oldest people on HULA island are over 20, washing up here 1-4 years ago. Lyla had to take care of her two year old brother after washing up at HULA when she was ten. Talon practically grew up on HULA.

HULA is basically and unknown civilization. Without knowing where they came from, sending a voyage for help was like sending someone to their doom.

Lyla was the leader of HULA despite her age, she ran HULA efficiently and treated everyone like family. There was no money, only payment was getting fed and that was enough for everyone to pitch in.

Many have challenged Lyla for her position, they gave it back to her after less than a week. Apparently the couldn't 'handle it'.

Lyla went from the sweetest girl on the block to the leader of a small island in the middle of nowhere.

Max went from doing nothing for himself, all the servants his family had practically spoon fed him and changed his clothes, to having to do everything for himself after not wanting to cooperate.

"You just don't wanna leave because you'll lose all your power and turn into a nobody all over again!"

"That's no at all wh-"

"You just wanna be worshipped! Have people do your bidding because you're a poor sack of shit!"

"Max I-"

"You're not sending people out because you're scaring them with false knowledge so no one wants to leave. I bet if I took a boat and went in one direction I'll get to land in less than a day!"

"Max don't leave! Help is coming soon I promise!"

"I wonder how long you've been saying that."

How long till Lyla can convince Max help is coming before Max takes on his own journey, leaving the island and possibly getting himself killed out in the unforgiving, merciless sea?

Will Max and Lyla come to work as a team or will their uncooperativeness bring them closer together?
