It was just another one of those days that seemed to get gradually worse as it went on.

Vivi had made herself and the rest of the gang some breakfast before heading off the work. She swore Max and Toxin sang her praises as they chowed down into their meals. Andrea grunted, but smiled to herself as she fend Mania her breakfast. Eddie and Venom snickered as they noticed her getting messy with the maple syrup.

"So, does anyone have any plans for this afternoon? I get off work early enough to hangout with you guys!" Vivi announced, getting happy for the free time she had. Carlton promised to give her some free hours if she worked overtime (which granted he only did so to get close to her and figure out what she liked).

"I've got a study session with Flash after school. I'm helping him pass this test that's supposed to be fifty percent of his final grade." Andrea said, stabbing her pancake before Mania snatched it up. "He can't play football without bringing the grade up."

"Sorry Miss Vivi, but the police station is having an inspection today. Spider-Man has been doing most of the cleaning up of crime for awhile so the chief wants us to reevaluate our work ethics." Max sighed, sipping on some of his orange juice. "Plus Toxin wanted to go downtown and watch the puppies at the animal shelter."

"I find the puppies to be adorable! Can you blame me for wanting to cuddle them all?" Toxin protested, laying his head on Max's shoulder.

"Well I guess that means that you and me will be spending the day together Eddie." Vivi wrapped her arms around her loving boyfriend and kissed his cheek.

"I have some errands to run today with Venom too." Eddie said, making Vivi's face drop. "There's a big scoop down at the abandoned factory on 21st street and Venom is going to "persuade" the gentleman to spill about the drug trade."

"We are going to eat....I mean, meet the bosses and get the story straight." Venom said, wiping his brow at his recovery.

"So none of you are going to be able to hangout today?" Vivi sighed sadly as Ravage helped her put away the dishes. "I'm starting to feel like none of you want to hangout anymore. You all have your jobs and friends and other activities. Heck, I'm even missing the symbiotic bond we all shared."

An alarm clock rang out as everyone placed their plates on the sink's edge. Andrea waved goodbye, Mania lifting a tentacle to wave. Max hugged her along with Toxin as they headed out. Eddie came up behind her, placing his head on her neck.

"I promise that we will have time tonight to snuggle and do something romantic." Eddie promised, smiling down at her. "I may have a surprise for you when we do come home."

Vivi pushes him away, shaking her head in a teasing manner. "Go and do your vigilante work, but make sure you don't come back in blood. It's so hard to get out."

Ravage popped out and kissed Venom. "Be good and save me some of those snacks."

"I won't be too greedy." Venom promised, kissing her back before disappearing into Eddie. He gave her a wink before closing the door.

Vivi grumbled to herself, holding her abdomen with slight pain. "Stupid Eddie, I really did want to spend some time with him. He deserves to know...."

"Are you feeling okay? You look kinda pale."

Vivi laid her cheek on the table as Mary-Jane gave her a worried look. The redhead had invited Vivi out for lunch since she had the day off and wanted to catch up with her oldest friend. So they went to their favorite diner in Brooklyn. Said female was sipping hot tea and eating large quantities of French fries, three burgers, and half a pound of cheesecake.

Taking a moment to swallow the large quantity of food she had just consumed, Vivi gave Mary-Jane a small smile. "Sorry, I just feel very hungry all of sudden. Usually I just eat enough for two people, but this morning I was so sick that I could barely keep my food down. This has been going on for a month now, but I don't think the others have noticed."

Mary-Jane gave her a skeptical look before her eyes widened slowly. "Um Vivi, are you telling me that you've been having morning sickness, eating a lot of food, and get cramps in your stomach?"

"Yeah, I think I may be coming down with something, which is weird because I've been pretty healthy since the last major cold I had." Vivi pondered back to the day that Ravage had decided to invade her body and shook her head.

Her red headed friend paid the tab before getting up and dragging Vivi out of the diner. Vivi was confused for a second, not knowing what her friend had planned until they reached the drugstore at the corner. Going through the various aisles, they stopped in front of one that Vivi was not quite familiar with. She watched Mary-Jane scan the shelves before picking something up quickly and dashing them to the register. The clerk who bagged the item gave her friend a knowing stare.

"No, this is for her, I believe she is in denial." She replied, the clerk nodding with a sympathetic look in her old eyes, pointing to the bathroom stalls in the back. Handing the bag over to Vivi, she gave her a half wave before going back to wipe the counter. Then, without warning, MJ pushed her to the bathrooms and into one of the stalls.

Now I'm concerned about your human friend. What did she just buy? Ravage asked, worried that her host was dying or something.

"MJ, can you please tell me what the heck you just bought-" Vivi stopped what she was about to complain about before pulling the box from the bag and felt her heart drop so fast that she could barely breathe.

It was a pregnancy test.

Oh no... Vivi thought as she heard MJ leaving her in the bathroom to deal with the outcome. Frantically opening up the box, she fumbled with the stick a bit before performing the simple task. This has got to be some sort of nightmare. I'm just sick with the flu or whatever new virus is floating around in the air! I can't possibly be, we only did it twice! Heart pounding in her chest, she slowly brought the stick up.

It was positive.

She was pregnant with Eddie's child, and to a lesser extent, a new symbiote for Venom.
