***Spoilers to chapter 6***

"No. Nothing. I just got something for you." He sauntered to his snug chair and perched on it. The bookshelf, bursting with books was in a corner, with yet another stack of papers under a paperweight that was shaped to look like a tuft of grass, begged for my attention. Did he not learn anything from so much reading?

The ceiling light still illuminated the windowless office, but it was dim and flickered at strobe-like intervals.

"Ms Black?"

"Yes?" I focused my attention back on him and spotted his gaze fixed on the chandelier of the room.

"Sorry?" I was entranced by the beauty of the room.

"Take a seat," he gestured.

Taking few long steps, I took the seat opposite to him from across the table. He held some papers out to me that he had been holding.

"What are these?"

"I bet you would like to read it yourself."

"Okay," I said, taking it.

My eyes perceived what the papers were asserting. No detail missed my eye. To make sure what I read was right, I went back again through it all. I looked up. The sight of him made me sick from the ends of my hair to the nails of my toes.

"Contract of employment?" I voiced it out.

"You don't have a job and you need to reimburse my money." He shrugged it off like it was nothing.

"But that doesn't warrant for me to sleep with strangers!" I shrieked, shooting up from my chair.

Heyaa!
