"I know what you're going to say, but..."

"This guy, he is all the way bad, Jack" Eddie said to his boss as the three are sitting down in front of him.
But the man behind the desk was not happy at the turn of event, "If you just give..." Eddie said before being cut off by his boss.
"Who's your source?" Jack asked, frustrated and not in a good mood right now.
Eddie in return tried to get out of this conversation, "I don't have a source, per se. But I have a hunch" he said, shrugging his shoulders.
But Jack not happy with his answer, "This isn't the wildwest. We don't go off half-cooked based on hunch" he stated.
"We do the work, we substantiate our accusations. We provide evidence" he explain to him.
"You know for a smart guy, you really are a dumb-bass" Jack remarked, shaking his head.

Sigh

"You're fired, Eddie" Jack announced, making April and Jay immediately surprised.
"I can't trust you" he tells him as Eddie stays silence, sitting in his seat in shock.
"Wait, Jack, maybe we could work..." April tried to say to her boss, but he cuts her off.
"You two can join him as well. I gave you April and Jay one single job, but you have messed up. You're fired" Jack tells them.
Eddie then stood up, "Jack, that's not fair, they haven't done anything. April and Jay don't deserve to be fired!" he said to him in a angry tone.
"Have a nice life" Jack simply said as he stood up and walk up to the window, showing that this discussion is over.

So in the end, an very upset April walk away from him that day, not uttering a single word as tears were going down her face.
As for Jay he basically shouting at Eddie before giving him a punch in the face as soon as their former boss was out of view.
