( THEODORA CONWAY ) has been hiding a secret about her family, for practically her entire life, because she didn't want anyone to treat her differently. However, it turned out her family were the ones that she should have been afraid of. 

( AFTER ) she graduates high school and gets a summer job working at The Bayside Claw in order to earn money, she expects to have a normal boring summer full of annoying customers and long shifts, and she's half right. 

( ONE NIGHT ) Ryan Hudson and some of his potential business partners come in and not too long after, his wife is found dead in the parking lot and most of the teenagers currently working at the Claw are suspects in a murder investigation. 

( BUT ) they are all determined to prove their innocence which leads them to discover the world of the supernatural and into situations they never dreamed they'd be in.
