The cave was cold and the morning dew made it chillier.

Zaria extended her arm and habitually searched for her blanket.

"Mm so warm and fluffy." Zaria snuggled closer to the source of warmth.

She felt a slow movement under her. She opened her eyes and to her shock she found herself sleeping on a lion. It's honey brown mane grazed her face.

"Aargghh..." Zaria screamed and jumped several feet back.

The lion gave a low grunt as it looked dissatisfied with her reaction. It came closer and rubbed its head against her legs. The fluffy mane felt ticklish and Zaria laughed out.

She slowly bent down, put her hand in the lion's mane and shuffled it. The lion closed his eyes and hummed happily.

"Naughty boy" Zaria giggled she was both shocked and happy as she did not know what to make out of this.

"I finally tamed one of them." She jumped out of joy.

Zaria looked at the other lions who were sitting at a distance and smiled. They didn't look like they would attack her so she walked closer to them and put the meat in front of them.

They waited for her to walk away and ate it.

"Here Tame." She took some meat in her hand and extended it to the Lion she was sleeping on. "Do you like your name?"

The lion ate the meat handed over by Zaria.

"What are you doing?" Zaria heard Zan's voice from behind her.

The Lions roared at him as they got ready to pounce.

Zan leapt towards them before they could even react and threw multiple chains at them. The chains coiled themselves around the necks of the lions.

"Why are you in here?" Zaria hugged Tame, trying to protect him.

Tame continued growling at Zan.

"Ateel is making a fuss and we can't handle her. Aran is pestering me to get you back. Don't know what your sister did but Aran seems to take her side in everything." Zan scowled.

"So you are here to take me back with you?" Zaria asked, "then what about the trial?"

"The trial is over. You don't need to finish it." Zan pulled her up separating her from Tame.

Zaria pushed him away and gave an angry look.

"Did you tell Ateel about this trial?" She asked.

"No, I know how crazy you get when Ateel comes into the picture." Zan moved towards Tame to chain him but was blocked by Zaria.

"Let him be." She stood in between Zan and Tame. "He is not a threat."

Zan stared at her for some time but in the end, he let it slide.

"Ok, let's go."

He walked out of the cave without looking back.

"Wait," Zaria screamed.

Zan turned around to find Tame following Zaria out.

"Tame, go back in." Zaria tried explaining "You see that guy there he thinks you're a dangerous person."

Zan raised his eyebrows as he thought to himself 'What is he getting at?'

"Am I the villain here?" Zan asked, "And why do you keep calling the lion, Tame?"

"I named him Tame so I will obviously call him that," Zaria said.

"What kind of naming sense is that?" Zan asked, "Why would you name a lion like that?"

"He got tamed fast so I named him Tame" Zaria responded. "And it doesn't matter if he is a lion or a mouse. Just let him come with me."

"You want to take a Lion with you to a place filled with kids?" Zan asked

"I promise that he won't harm anyone so let me take him with me."

"Do as you wish but if I ever find him causing trouble then..." Zan stopped at that and smiled.

"He's allowing you to come with me." Zaria hugged the lion as she laughed. Tame rubbed his mane against Zaria's head.

Zan was out of words. He just shook his head and lead Zaria back to the community.

Ateel and Xian were waiting for Zaria in the tent. Ateel jumped onto Zaria hugging her tightly.

"Where were you?" She asked.

"I had a small easy trial left." Zaria tried ending the topic without having to actually tell Ateel anything more.

"There's a lion..." Xian's voice got stuck in her throat as she shook with fear.

Ateel turned around and only noticed Tame now. She pulled Zaria away with shivering hands and stood in between the lion and Zaria as if to protect with her life.

Tame gave a roar when he realized that Zaria was being taken away.

"It's Ok Ateel. He is a good lion?" Zaria said

"A good lion?" Ateel looked at Zaria as if saying are you crazy.

"He is a gift I got for completing the trials, do you want to touch him?"

"Is that so?" Ateel moved closer to Tame to touch him but her hands were still shivering.

"He won't bite." Zaria bent down and petted Tame.

"Mm," Ateel bent down and lightly touched the lion's mane.

"Tame is a good boy." Zaria hugged him once more.

"Tame? You named him tame?" Xian asked.

"Yeah I did." Zaria nodded

"So, can I touch him as well?" Xian walked towards tame.

It stood on the tip of its toes and bared its teeth Xian. It's tail twitched and it's back hunched up making it look twice its usual size.

"Tame, you shouldn't do that," Zaria said blocking him.

Just than Zan entered.

"Are you satisfied now?" Zan asked Ateel. "If you are then please leave, you can talk all you want later."

Ateel nodded and left.

"So why are you still hanging around? Do you have something to say?" Zaria asked Zan who just stood there without moving an inch.

"You are accepted into the community," Zan said

"So does everyone trust me now?" Zaria asked doubtfully.

"No, they don't," Zan said

"Then?" Zaria asked

"Aran trusts you," Zan said

"Is that enough?"

"I trust you and that is enough. No one will go against me." Zan turned away as he said these words.

"Thank you," Zaria said "The trials were hard but I also had fun and I got too many things from this. Now that all those formalities are over I want to freshen up. Where do I go for that?"

"Follow me." Zan said, "But what about your lion should I tie him up?"

"No, He'll come with me," Zaria said.

Zan nodded and they walked out of the tent.

"How did you tame, him?" Zan asked as the silence felt awkward.

"Like how people tame cats," Zaria replied with a giggle.

"What?!" That was not something Zan expected.

"He is good so he got tamed fast." Zaria leaned forward peeking at Zan's face. "Let me introduce you."

"This is Tame" Zaria introduced.

She turned towards Tame and said, "Tame this is Mr. Heartless Tyrant." Zaria chuckled.

Zan narrowed his eyes but she ignored him and continued.

"He is the leader of Child Community."

"Thanks for that horrid introduction." Zan smiled as he wasn't offended "But there's one thing I have to correct."

He faced Tame as he said, "You should know that the child community you talk about has a name." Zan gave Zaria a sideways glance.

"So welcome to Venarom, Tame," Zan turned to Zaria and directly addressed her with an amused look "and Zar."
