Swara was checking the reports of her patients. Suddenly a nurse came inside her cabin.

"Dr Swara, Dr Naira has come and she is waiting for you." A nurse informed Swara.

"Okay, I'm coming." Swara smiled and replied to her.

Swara after keeping the reports on the rack, moved out of her cabin.

Swara entered Dr Naira's cabin. But she stumbled back due to a strong bear hug.

"Baby, leave me naa. I can't breath." Swara slowly whispered to the person.

Naira was Swara's best friend from childhood. They have post graduated together from the same university itself. The only person, who knows Swara inside out was, Naira Dixit.

"Look, you don't love me anymore. That's why you are not even able to handle my sweet hug." Naira complained making pouty lips. Yes, Naira was dramatic and childish who always kept Swara's mood on.

"Woah!! You understood, finally!" Swara said with a giggle.

"You little..." Naira said and punched her stomach.

"Wait..wait! I have seen the Maheshwari family in front of the operation theatre. What's the matter" Naira paused her antics for a moment and asked.

"About that, Mrs Maheshwari is my patient. That's why they are here. And wait, how do you know them?" Swara sighed and asked her.

"Grow up, girl. Who don't know about great SM and his family?" Naira mocked and asked her.

"SM? Now, who is that?" Swara asked with a confused face.

"Shona darling, are you kidding? He is the most eligible bachelor of Kolkata, Mr Sanskar Maheshwari." Naira said dreamily.

"That China wall??" Swara again asked by thinking.

"China wall, seriously Shona!! Only you can name weirdly." Naira giggled and said

"Yeah!! He is too tall!" Swara said as a matter of fact. Naira shook her head.

Their talk was broken by the nurse.

"Dr Swara, an emergency! Mrs Maheshwari is not responding to her medicine. I think she had..." Before she could complete, Swara rushed from there, followed by Naira.

Both of them entered inside the operation theatre. Sujata and Annapurna were scared by seeing that.

After some time, Naira came from Theatre.

"How's dadi? Why did Swara went inside the theatre running?" Laksh fired questions as soon as Naira came out. He was hell worried.

"Sorry, we tried our best. But Mrs Maheshwari slipped into come." Naira said sighing. She really was depressed.

Sanskar who came by talking on the phone stayed still. Tears rolled from his eyes. His hands trembled. He was trying to hold back himself. He can tolerate everything, but this?? Naah!

"What nonsense! how could you say that? Don't you have a little knowledge and from where did you even graduate????" Sanskar who lost his every nerve in his body, roared.

"What do you mean Mr Maheshwari? We have tried our best. Mrs Maheshwari is not responding to the medicines. We can't do anything with that." Naira said in an angry tone. She really can't tolerate it.

"Dad, we are shifting her to another hospital," Sanskar stated by avoiding Naira completely.

RamPrasad came forward to cool Sanskar down. But Sanskar being Sanskar, moved away from everyone.

Swara came from OT by hearing the noise.

"What's happening here? Mr Maheshwari, lower ur voice! And if you want, you can shift her to another hospital. But, even they will say the same. Now a only miracle can do something. I hope you have that knowledge to understand these things." Swara said with outermost sarcasm.

Sanskar looked at her angrily.

A nurse came and informed Swara that Dr Shekhar is calling her. Swara goes with her.

Sanskar thinks something and goes to make a call.

"Doctor, so are you saying that we should try the syrup made from black lotus to treat Mrs Maheshwari?" Swara asked Dr Kumar Rishikesh, the HOD of nephrology, unbelievingly.

"Of course, Swara! There are many medical miracles happened because of black lotus." Dr Kumar explained to Swara. He knows that she won't believe in this type of things.

"Doctor, but I haven't heard much about it. I think black lotus blooms, once in 25 years. And that too, in a palace or something." Swara said to him. She wasn't able to believe about it.

"Dr Bose, you don't have to worry about it. Dr Suma will explain to you about this. I hope you won't step back from your duties." Shekhar interpreted and said.

"Dr Gadodia, I know my duties well! and I'm not a person who backs off from my responsibilities like someone!" Swara angrily stated and walked away from there. Shekhar looks at her and sighed.

Swara was thinking about black lotus from her cabin. Dr Suma Dixit comes in.

"Shona, I know that there might be many questions inside your little brain and your favourite Suma aunty is here to clear everything," Dr Suma said while acting like bowing her head.

"Aunty, I'm really confused! I seriously don't know, how I'm going to get a hold of black lotus." Swara said in an annoyed tone. She was really pissed off.

Naira comes inside the cabin.

"Suma mam, here are the reports which you have asked," Naira said to Suma and handled her some reports.

"Baby, you should call her as maa. then only I can call her as aunty." Swara whined to Naira as a matter of fact.

"This is a hospital! there is no relationship inside here. Everyone should do their duties without any flaws." Naira mimicked someone.

"who is he?" Swara asked confused.

"of course, who else? Your dad." Naira said with an annoyed expression.

Swara's face faded away as she heard that. Naira realised what she said and slaps her face. Suma sighed.

"Uff, my stomach is crying! what to do? No one is there to care for me. I will die because of hunger. Hey, Bhagwan!!" Naira started her acting to divert Swara's mind.

"Ms hungry cat! Come, let's go to canteen. aunty, what you have eaten while carrying her? " swara asked Suma seriously.

Naira punched Swara's stomach and drags her. Suma smiled as that was a daily drama.

Shekhar Bhai, please don't repeat the same mistake, again. You know naa, how Shona is living. She misses her mother and sister very much." Suma tried to make Shekhar understand.

Suma's husband, Susheel Dixit and Shekhar were best friends from college. Suma and Susheel did a run away marriage while, Shekhar's and Mishti's were an arranged one. Six years back, Susheel died in a car accident due to which, Suma along with her only daughter Naira shifted to Kolkata.

Suma was always been a sister to Shekhar and Mishti. And her daughter, Naira, was equally pampered by Gadodia's. 

"what can I do Suma? The only person she loves to hate is her own father!! Everything was my mistake. I run behind the money insted of looking upon my family." Shekhar whispered. His eyes were filled with tears.

"You still have time. You can still mend your relationship with Shona. Try to do it." Suma said in which Shekhar looked away from her.

"I can't Suma, she already hates me," Shekhar uncoherently said. Suma sighed.

Naira was eating the morsel as if she hasn't seen the food for ages.

"Baby, slowly. Food won't run away from you." Swara stated looking at the way how she was eating.

"ehsjsjsmsjs!" Naira mumbled to Swara.

" what?" Swara asked, not able to understand what she was saying.

"ahssjiswjjsjs." Naira said by shaking her head.

"This girl naa," swara gave her water in which Naira gulps it in one go. "now, say it," Swara asserted Naira who was going to eat another bunch of food.

"Huh! you know, somewhere I read that, food can walk because of the energy inside that." Naira stated with a hit of fear.

"God!! I really need to discuss with aunty about you." swara said while slapping her head.

Naira smiled by showing her 32 teeth.

"Wait Shona, do you know anything about Black lotus. Actually, I have taken the reports from Shekhar sir." Naira took a document from her bag.

"Baby, I only know that black lotus is used for treating Parkinson's disease," Swara said thoughtfully.

"Okay, then listen to me," Naira said on which Swara mimicked "Okay, big boss." As a big Boss contestant. Naira glared at her.

"Actually in India, the black lotus is seen only in Mihrapur and it is rooted in the Mihrapur palace. As you know, it blooms once in a 25 year and in this February it is going to happen. Many doctors and scholars travels Mihrapur for studying about it, but not everyone is able to get a hold of it." Naira explained.

"For taking the Black lotus, first we should enter the palace that too by pleasing the Maharaj. After that, we should take 25 days fast and then need to participate in a sword fight. Those who succeed in all the tasks, are only allowed to enter the Mihra pool. I mean the pool where Black lotus blooms. We should blindfold our eyes because the radiation will affect our eyes. So on February 10, it will bloom. We should take the violet syrup from it instantly. After that, the syrup is made into a paste and is served in the injection of the patient." Naira continued and drank a glass of water.

"And also there are many myths around the black lotus....just like reincarnation, mortality etc." Naira finished her speech.

"This is gonna become interesting," Swara skilled on which Naira nodes.

"Come on, Shona. my stomach is full and if I eat more, I'm gonna be like a teddy bear." Naira said and Swara giggled.
