I never thought that I would write them. In 2017, before Blood ended (the sequel to this or whatever), I had this idea for a prequel. I wanted to discover what Rosalie was like in her sixth year when she was with Draco and they had to kill Dumbledore and everything, someone she obviously had a close relationship with seeing as she was put into his will in Blood.

And I had also always thought there was something between Rosalie and Draco. I didn't really explore it in this book because I more focused on Rosalie as a person rather than a romance between her and Draco, but I think that's okay. Really, as I began to write this and as I think about it now, I don't think that there would have been time for her to fall in love for Draco or for a romance to spark between them and that's okay.

Earlier this year, I don't know why, I started thinking about Veins again and I really wanted to write it. I planned out all the chapters and everything. I wanted to write this and truly explore everything that I had thought of before, so I asked the readers of Blood and they said yes. They wanted some more Rosalie Allen content, which made me so happy because I love Rosalie.

I wouldn't say that she's my favorite OC that I've ever created, but she's definitely one of the better ones. It's complicated to write for a Death Eater and trying to defend their actions, but for Rosalie, she did this because she wanted to be important. Her father always told her that she was nothing and that she would always be nothing, so really this was a retaliation towards that. Becoming a double agent and having her name always be remembered would mean that she was important and not just nothing or a waste of space, as her father had said to her when she was younger.

But enough of that. I want to say thank you to everyone who had read and supported this book. Thank you to everyone who has loved Rosalie as much as me and finished this book. It means a lot to me. And really, I want to say goodbye to Rosalie. I thought when I said goodbye to her in 2017 that I would never write for her again or say hello to her, to add something to her story, and yet here we are.

This is a true goodbye. I won't be truly continuing Rosalie's story anymore. There isn't going to be an Order of the Phoenix prequel or a true sequel to Blood or a spin-off. This is the end of the Rosalie Allen series and it's hard to say that. I love Rosalie and it's always so hard to say goodbye to a story, but it has to happen.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has reached the end of Veins. And thank you to Rosalie for allowing me to add more to your story and break your heart just a bit more.
