The morning light was gentle as it streamed through the curtains, warming Hana’s room with its soft glow. Despite the sunlight and the warmth of Namjoon and Jin’s comforting presence from the night before, an uneasy heaviness still lingered in her chest. The remnants of her nightmares clung to her like a fog, making it hard to feel completely safe. Yet, she also felt a growing desire to reconnect with the boys, to find comfort in their company as she had before everything fell apart.

As she lay in bed, still recovering, Hana heard soft footsteps approaching her room. The door creaked open, and she turned her head to see Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung standing there, each of them holding something—a laptop, a tray of snacks, and blankets.

“Hana?” Taehyung’s voice was soft, filled with concern as he met her gaze. “We thought maybe… we could spend some time with you. Watch some movies together, like we used to?”

Jimin smiled at her, though there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. “We just want you to feel comfortable. We can watch anything you like, or if you’re not up for it, we can just sit with you.”

Hana’s heart swelled with emotion as she looked at them—three of the boys who had been her anchors during some of her darkest moments. She could see the love and worry in their eyes, and the last thing she wanted was for them to feel that way. They were trying so hard to make things better for her, and she knew she needed them, just as they needed her.

She offered them a small, tentative smile. “I’d like that,” she said softly. “Movies sound good.”

Relief washed over their faces as they moved closer, Jungkook setting up the laptop on the bedside table while Jimin placed the tray of snacks within easy reach. Taehyung approached her slowly, as if afraid of overwhelming her, but Hana reached out for him, tugging him gently onto the bed beside her.

“Come here,” she whispered, and without hesitation, Taehyung slid under the blankets, his arms wrapping around her protectively. Hana let out a small sigh of contentment as she snuggled into his chest, feeling the warmth and comfort of his embrace.

Jungkook and Jimin climbed onto the bed as well, settling in on either side of her. They were careful not to crowd her, giving her space while still staying close enough to offer their support. Jungkook pressed play on the laptop, and the familiar sound of an opening movie filled the room.

As the movie played, Hana found herself relaxing a little more with each passing minute. The boys were trying so hard to make her comfortable, to bring a sense of normalcy back into their lives. Taehyung’s heartbeat was steady under her ear, a soothing rhythm that helped keep the lingering fear at bay.

But even as she tried to focus on the movie, she couldn’t stop the thoughts from swirling in her mind. She had been so close to losing everything, to being taken away from them forever. The memory of the basement, the cold, the fear—it was still too fresh, too real.

Without thinking, she tightened her hold on Taehyung, seeking more of his warmth, his comfort. He responded immediately, his arms wrapping more securely around her, pulling her even closer. She felt the tension in his body as he realized how much she was still affected by what had happened, and it broke his heart.

Jungkook, sitting on her other side, noticed the movement and looked over at her with concern. “Hana… are you okay?” he asked softly, his voice laced with worry.

She nodded, though her grip on Taehyung didn’t loosen. “I’m okay,” she whispered, though her voice wavered slightly. “I just… I feel better with you all here. It makes the bad thoughts go away.”

Jimin, sitting near her feet, felt his chest tighten at her words. He knew they couldn’t take away what had happened, but they could try to make her feel safe now. “We’re not going anywhere,” he said firmly. “We’ll stay with you as long as you need us.”

Taehyung pressed a kiss to the top of her head, his heart aching as he felt her trembling slightly in his arms. “We’ve got you, Hana,” he murmured. “You’re safe now. We won’t let anything happen to you.”

Hana closed her eyes, letting their words wash over her, trying to find comfort in the sound of their voices. She knew they were telling the truth, knew they would protect her with everything they had. But the fear, the trauma—it was still there, lurking just beneath the surface.

As the movie continued to play, she allowed herself to focus on the warmth surrounding her. The steady presence of Taehyung, the protective closeness of Jungkook and Jimin—it was enough to keep the nightmares at bay, at least for now. She felt her body slowly begin to relax, her breathing evening out as she rested against Taehyung’s chest.

Jungkook reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “You’re so strong, Hana,” he said quietly, admiration clear in his voice. “We’re so proud of you.”

She opened her eyes, meeting his gaze, and saw the sincerity in his expression. It warmed her heart, making her feel a little less broken, a little more whole. “I couldn’t have done it without you,” she replied, her voice soft but earnest. “I’m so grateful to have you all.”

Jimin, who had been watching her closely, felt a pang of guilt mixed with overwhelming love. He wished he could erase all the pain she had gone through, but he knew that all he could do now was be there for her. “We’re the ones who are grateful,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “We almost lost you, Hana. But you’re here now, and that’s all that matters.”

Taehyung tightened his hold on her, pressing another kiss to her temple. “You’re never alone, okay? We’re always going to be here for you.”

Hana nodded, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. She knew they meant every word, knew they would protect her with their lives if it came to that. But she also knew that healing would take time, that she couldn’t just erase the fear and trauma overnight.

As the movie played on, Hana let herself sink deeper into the comfort of their presence. For the first time in days, she felt a small measure of peace settle over her, the constant anxiety in her chest easing just a little.

The boys didn’t push her to talk about what had happened, didn’t try to force her to confront the nightmares that still haunted her. They simply stayed with her, their presence a constant reassurance that she wasn’t alone, that she was safe.

As the credits rolled on the movie, Hana found herself drifting off to sleep, her body finally succumbing to the exhaustion that had been building up since her rescue. Taehyung’s arms were still wrapped securely around her, Jungkook’s hand resting gently on her shoulder, and Jimin’s soft hum of a lullaby filled the room, lulling her into a peaceful slumber.

The boys exchanged quiet, worried glances over her head, each of them silently vowing to do whatever it took to help her heal. They knew the road ahead wouldn’t be easy, but they were determined to walk it with her, to be her strength when she needed it most.

As they settled in beside her, preparing to stay with her through the night, they couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of love and protectiveness for the woman who had become the center of their world. She had fought so hard, endured so much, and now it was their turn to be her shelter, her safe place.

And as Hana slept, surrounded by the warmth and love of the boys she held dear, she began to dream not of darkness, but of light—a light that, with their help, she knew she could one day reclaim as her own.
