34--
We were currently at my Daddy's place, today was both him and Miss Anita's wedding. I know I'm not the only happy one here, everyone was happy. Do you know for how many years I've been rooting for them? Finally they would be getting married.
"You are so pretty, I'm going to cry." I fake cry as Miss Anita glared at me.
"Just shut up and get the ring ready." She groaned.
"Now I'm going to have someone i can call mom." I giggled. "And my baby will call you granny."
"How come you are still so childish? That's why your Dad and Arlo fight over you that much."
"Don't you want to be a granny?"
"I'm too young for that please." She said making us laugh.
"The ride is ready." Quinn announced as she dropped her phone on the table before dusting some blush on her face.
"Alright, let's go." I smile at my new mom who kept stealing glances at herself from the mirror.
"Do I look okay?" She asked.
"You look okay Miss Anita." I chuckled.
"I thought I was Mom now."
"You look okay mom."
"Enough with the Mommy talk, we need to leave ASAP." Quinn said dragging us out of the room.
We got to the church late but lucky enough, it was at the same exact time the bride was supposed to walk in. You could see the spark in my Dad's eyes as he couldn't get his eyes off her,
He is totally smitten by her.
The church program took only an hour as we proceeded to the reception. My legs were aching from walking round. I was the one in charge of the whole thing so I had to make sure it was perfect.
"Nini, you have to rest now." Arlo said leading me to a seat.
"I'm fine Arlo." I smiled.
"I know you are fine but the baby...."
"You worry too much." I pinched his nose. "I need a leg massage when we get home."
"Aye Aye captain." He said making me laugh.
"Ma'am, I think we ran out of wine." One of the waiter whispered in my ear.
"Order some, pay with the black card I gave to the Chief chef." I reply as he hurried towards the back door.
"You look tired, we should go home." Arlo groaned when I closed my eyes with a loud sigh.
"I can't leave now Arlo, it's my Dad's wedding." I tell him. "I haven't even arranged the gifts."
"Alright, let me alteast take you to my suite." He pulled me up.
"You are cocky." I narrow my eyes at him. "You are saying out loud because you want these girls to hear right?"
"Who would have thought I got married to a crazy woman?" He rolled his eyes.
"I pity myself for falling in love with a flirt." I scoff as I made my way out if the hall, Arlo following behind.
"Our child will think her mother is crazy with how wild you are." He huffed pressing the button in the elevator.
"Just keep quiet." I say knocking his head.
When we got to the suite that his father had given specifically to him in this hotel, he locked the door behind him as he wrapped his hands round my waist, my bump obstructing his hands.
"I've been dying to do this." He whispered kissing the tip of my ear as I rest back against his chest.
"The baby can hear you." I mentioned.
"Let her hear, we only made love once and she showed up." He huffed.
"Are you crazy? How can you mention such a thing so casually?" I ask pulling away.
"Sorry."
"I'm tired, I want to sleep now." I frown as I took off my sandal before lying on the soft bed.
"Just a kiss would do you know." He came to sit on the bed too." We haven't kissed properly since the bump started to show."
"I'll kiss you whenever I'm in the mood." I groan turning my back to him.
"So you won't give me a kiss?"
"I won't even give you a peck on the cheek."
"You are mean." He said before lying down and wrapping his hand round me.
We rested for a while then went back downstairs, when we got home, Arlo gave me a leg massage as promised. The week he was supposed to leave for school, we went for an ultra sound where we found out that we were going to have twins, a boy and a girl.
So because of that, Arlo and the others were able to convince me to follow him to England to have our babies.
It actually took them a whole week to convince me because I really wanted to have my baby here but considering the fact that I would be depriving Arlo the chance to see and love them, I agreed to go with him.
The flight was successful. Arlo and I bought a house close to his school and I realised it was now we started the family life because we had many expenses now, We were far away form our family. Unlike before when I would get mad at Arlo and run to my father's house but now when we argue-- which I know I'm always the cause of, we settle it ourselves and whenever a problem arises, we solve it together.
With Arlo, I experienced love and I pray that in my next life-- if there is any, I get to experience it with him too because even with all my flaws, he still stand by me, love me, care for me and tolerate everything I do. I was the girl who boys never looked her way, thought I was uptight and a prude, thought all I cared about was school and graduating as the best student but who would've thought that I would get married to the sweetest and hottest guy in the world. I wouldn't have asked for a better father for my children.
