•Thorn hasn't drank in years because the last time he was drunk he said self depreciative stuff and it made Carnation cry

•Follow up he would never make her cry because that would make him cry

•There's a broken floorboard under a big rug that drops to the catacombs and people fall through it all the time bc nobody knows exactly where it is

•Fern can do an amazing goat impression, far enhanced when sleep deprived

•All the princes are actually great chefs and nobody knows how (coughcarnationcough)

•Thorn learned to braid hair for his sisters and taught Basil

•Being raised on a farm Thorn is a great jockey

•Had they existed both Cypress and Fern would be obsessed with lava lamps

•Everyone thinks the castle is haunted but it's just Thorn stalking the halls aimlessly every night.

•Sage is the friend who's always cold

•Thorn is actually his mother's favourite but was too caught up in impressing his dad to notice

•Nobody isn't the palace can swim because any water is the Water Empire's playing field and most families warn their children not to play there

•Thorn is demiromantic/demisexual
and Carnation is the only crush he's ever had so cut him some slack he's really confused

•Follow up he thought he was ace until he explained his feelings for her to someone and they were like "dude I think you're in love"

•The castle staff and the princes always get together and do stupid stuff like karaoke

•Snow has a lovely laugh but nobody ever witnesses it

•Thorn likes cats. A lot.
And he's not allowed to have any pets but if he did he would have cats and he would love them.
He's kind of a jerk to people but he always pets and/or feeds stray cats in alleys

•Carnation And Fern are quite partial to bunnies!

•Cliff likes big dogs! If they ever lived in the same neighbourhood his dog would probably chase Thorn's cats around

•Mirrors are actually a very common imprisonment tactic, but strong beings like Amalgam could easily break through magical prisons like that

•Basil says lots of big words and doesn't really know what they mean

•There's birds that keep coming up to Thorn's window (bc he's a princess) and his new solution is to scream at them no matter what time it is

•More than once Oak has stubbed his toe and dropped to the ground dramatically and everyone thought it was an assassination

•Sage wants to ride horses, more specifically pegasus

•Thorn has accidentally said 'y'aint' and everyone lost their minds
