Three days later...

Vedha reached the sets of Vijay's next movie. Everyone stared at her as this was the first time she came alone to the sets. Usually, she would be accompanied by her mother and Saanthi or at least Saanthi.

She didn't bother about the watching-eyes of everyone and went to her makeup room. The costume that was arranged for her was a white silk saree. She also noticed some jewels lying around on the table.

She then looked at her makeup artist,"inniku enna getup ka???"

Makeup artist answered,"kalyana ponnu. first night scene Vedha ma."

Vedha nodded her head and got ready without much of an expression. For some reason, her mind was at peace. Even the romantic scene with others were scary to her. But with Vijay, she didn't feel scared.

She silently went and sat down on her chair after getting ready.

The director then came to her,"Vedha ma.. Viji sir innum varale.. but flight le irundhu erangi nera Inga dhaan vararu.. shoot nikkadhu... Konjam neram wait Pannu ma..."

She said yes in return. She didn't know why she made such a decision to enter these sets. If her mother came to know that she was there, she would come and take her away. But she didn't want to run anymore.

Somewhere in the corner of her heart, she wanted to meet him. She didn't want to tell him the things that had happened in the past few days. She just wanted to feel his presence around her. The secured feeling his presence had provided her.

His entry was announced and she just got a glimpse of him before he entered his makeup room.

She saw him coming out of the makeup room in a moment. He was dressed in a silk shirt and veshti. He looked extremely handsome with his ruffled hair.

Did he really travel with another heroine??? Her mind didn't want to open that door with the things that had been happening in her life recently. But she wasn't able to concentrate properly.

He smiled at her before the director started explaining the scene to them.

As it was the first night scene, there weren't many technicians in the set. When the scene started, Vijay looked at her. Sensuousness poured out of his eyes. She felt goosebumps on her skin on the places he touched. She leaned on the bed as instructed.

He smiled at her and held her wrist. She slightly winced in pain. As she didn't show it, they continued the scene. When he tried to hold her wrist again, she winced.

Vijay, who was noticing the discomfort in her from the beginning, lost his patience,"ippo ennathuku de ucchhh ucchhh nu anathitte irukka???"

Her eyes started trickling tears. Previously, he had used 'de' with her when they were alone. But this was the first time in front of everyone in the sets. The director yelled cut at the same time. Vijay then looked at her face clearly. As the director was approaching them, Vijay just asked him to give them a moment, realising her condition.

Everyone in the sets noticed how Vijay called her 'de'. Even though others didn't talk, apparently everyone felt that they were dating. Hence, when he asked for a moment, they completely left them alone in the room and went out.

It was just the two of them then.

Vijay calmed down and looked at her,"Vedha ma... Enna aachi???"

"Enga poninga??? Ithanai naal enga irundhinga?" She asked him between her tears.

"Appa condition theriyum le. Avaruku maathi vekka liver kedaichuruku nu sonnanga. Adhanale America kutitu poirundhen... Ippo dhaan vandhen... Yean enna aachi??"

She didn't answer him but proceeded to hug him. He wasn't the type to lie. She felt calmness returning to her from his answer. He hesitated for a moment then held her close to him and carassed her head with the other hand. He realised that something had happened to her in his absence.

"Vedha... Sollu.. yean ipdi azhare??? Enna aachi naan illadhappo???"

"Viji... Viji... I missed you"

"Vedha ma... Sollu... Enna aachi?? Un Kai yean valikudhu?? Sari saanthi enga un kooda??? Yean un kooda yaarum illa... Nee thaniya va vandhe??"

She nodded and answered,"Naan veette vittu odi vandhuten..."

"Yean???"

She separated herself from him slightly and gestured her fingers showing between them,"dho.. idhu enaku matha hero nga kooda varaleiyam... Rapport illayam..."

He understood that she was meaning their chemistry together.

She sobbed and continued,"pazhaga kupdranga... Andha Amudha Valli ennai oruthan bed ke anuppita.. Rangan sir punniyathule thappichi moonu naala odi poi en friend veetle irundhen.

Inniku ungale paakanum nu vandhen."

Vijay,"un Kai le epdi adi pattuchi???"

Vedha,"andha Mugilan Avane naan insult panniten nu en Kai eh murukkura maari scene le nijamave murukkitan".

The temperature in the room heavily dropped. She sensed his anger,"naan endha thappum pannale, Viji... Kova padadhinga..."

Vijay,"nee endha thappum pannale... Thappu ennodadhu. Vaa en kooda"

He held her other hand and got up from the bed.

Vedha,"enga porom Viji??? Sandai veandom"

Vijay,"naan sonna keppe le???"

She nodded her head.

Vijay,"appo amaidhiya vaa en kooda"

He brought her out of the room. She then noticed him going to the director and talking to him for a moment. He also made some phone calls from the reception. She just watched everything he did.

He then came back and held her hand in his hand and took her to his car.

Vijay,"yeru".

She got into the car and didn't say anything in response. They were still in their movie costumes.

She wasn't able to read what was running in his head. After some 30 minutes of drive, the car stopped in front of a temple.

Before she could realise, they were standing in front of the god. Raja was there with them. She looked at Vijay who was holding a thaali in his hand before her.

Vijay,"Vedhavalli, ennai kattikradhu le unaku sammadhama???"

Things were too hazy to her. But something in her made her to nod her head.

He had tied the thaali around her neck as tears rolled down her cheeks. He wiped the tears and lifted her face to meet his eyes.

"Vedha Vijay... Ini nee azha koodadhu..."

She smiled in response. Raja was so happy for them.

Raja,"Thirumana vaazhthukal Viji ma... Thirumana Vaazhthukal ma.. Sorry thangachi... Naanum 10 naala oor le illa. En pondati ku kozhandhai perandhurukku nu ooruku poiten"

Vedha,"paravale anna."

Raja,"Sari ippo enga poringa??"

Vijay,"shooting ku dhaan. Paadhi leiye vandhutome. Vedha ku rest edukanuma?" He asked her softly.

Vedha shook her head. They returned to the sets.

The crew members in the set were not able to find any difference with them as she had a duplicate thaali on her when they initially left. Upon return, she had also tucked her thaali in the saree just leaving the yellow rope to be seen.

Director,"Enna Viji?? Start pannalama??"

Vijay,"pannidalam director sir. Wait pannadhuku nandri... Inniku plan panna scenes eh mudichi kuduthutu dhaan kelambuvom."

Director,"Vedha ma... Unaku okay ah??"

Vedha,"okay sir. Inniku shoot extend panni kooda pannalam"

The director sighed in relief. Usually when they had to extend in some unforeseen cases, Amudha Valli would make a fuss.

They then started the shooting.

As Vedha got into the bed with Vijay, he didn't hold her injured wrist but held the other hand. His eyes looked at her seductively. Her cheeks turned rosy.

He held her waist tightly. Vedha felt a difference in his hold. He showed that she belonged to him. Her smile reached her eyes.

Director Ram bala then ended the shot and asked for a close-up,"Vedha... Idhu varaikum wonderful ah pannirukinga... Ippo unga close-up dhaan... Andha thaali veliya theriyura maari podunga"

She then looked at her newly married husband. He signalled like 'go ahead'.

As she revealed her new thaali which had freshly put kungumam, Ram Bala was confused for a moment.

Vijay,"idhuku dhaan veliya ponum director sir. Konja naalaiku veliya solladhinga" He said with a smile.

Ram Bala was beyond shocked,"Congratulations Viji sir. Congratulations Vedha..."

The few ADs and camera crew also wished them.

Vijay,"ellarkum inniku virundhu irukku... Dhaiyavu senju news le mattum theriya paduthiradhinga.. Ippo dhaan innoru nadigaioda ullasa payanam nu pottanga... Indha news naane kuduthukren time varappo."

"Solla mattom, Viji sir" The technicians in the set confirmed.
