Vedha was feeling really down after her mother left. Even though she stood strong in front of her, her walls started crumbling the moment she left. No one would like to hear their mother curse them and she was no different.

Instead of two cars, Vijay and Vedha returned in the same car. They both were seated in the backseat and he noticed her dejected face. He slowly touched her hand which was on the seat. She turned and smiled at him. He knew she wasn't happy about her mother's visit.

After reaching home, he called his village and informed his father of the news. His father and brothers were happy for him as he finally decided to tie the knot.

When the night arrived, Vedha was extremely tensed. As there were no elders in their house, there were not any over the top decorations. She was still in the saree that she wore for the shoot.

She kept the saree on as that was her wedding saree as well. Vijay then entered the room. Noticing his arrival, she stood up from the bed.

Vijay,"utkaru Vedha.."

He noticed her rosy tint. He was no longer able to control himself. He closed the distance between them and lifted her in his arms.
