this is based off of @HiThereFellowKids soulmate oneshot's! I love the soulmate item idea so each reader has an item the other has! this reader has Virgil's hoodie! so enjoy!

Virgil huffed in annoyance, Logan had his soulmate over talking and theorizing about soulmates and science, Patton was talking on the phone with his soulmate again Logan and his Soulmate asking Patton to stop screaming at the dog photos, Roman was texting his soulmate giggling and sighing dramatically every now and then, Thomas was busy gushing about kingdom hearts with Camden, Remus and Deceit where both running around yelling at shouting in the hallways, Remus had stolen Deceits hat yet again and now the shouting has gotten to Logan and his soulmate both now outside yelling at the two 'dark sides' which only lead to more yelling and Roman coming out and joining in the yelling which caught Patton's attention who came out to stop the yelling, he could not take it!, Virgil let out a yell of frustration befor grabbing his phone and his purple storm cloud headphones and his wallet before opening his door and pushing his way past everyone and out the front door.

y/n sighed as he sat in the bearly filled park alone with his music, he left the house not long after he woke up as his roommates refused to let him rest, tired bags under his eyes, as well as his pale completion, made him look sick and was further confirmed by the many strangers that came up to him asking him if he was ok, he was not in a good mood, letting out huff y/n sat up pulling his hoodie closer to him, he smiled, this hoodie was his soulmate item and was so far the only item of clothing he refuses to part from, he would sit in front of the washing machine when it was being washed and would put it on as soon as it was out of the dryer, the hoodie itself wasn't that interesting, kinda edgy emo-ish, it was black with a purple inside and purple plaid patches that where sewn on with thick white thread, but y/n loved it! it smelled of cinnamon and coffee, and was warm yet seemed to keep him cool in summer!

y/n stood up and headed towards the food vendors to get himself something to eat when he saw a guy in a hoodie exactly like his getting yelled at by a lady and her child, y/n was going to ignore them but the hoodie and the look of pure anxiety on the guys face, sighing y/n flipped his hood up and walked up to the lady "excuse me what's going on?" y/n asks "this man stole my sons hoodie!" the lady screeched turning around to see y/n in the same hoodie as him "uh wait uh" the lady steamers "ok if your done lying I'm going to go get myself food and I'm going to darg this lad with me, bu bye" y/n says grabbing Virgil's wrist y/n drags him off and towards the vendors but stoped a bit away and turning to Virgil "you ok? you look like you're about to have a panic attack?" y/n says, Virgil takes a few breaths trying to calm down shaking, no he was not ok, he was not prepared for some crazy lady to come up to him yelling! he sat down curling up into a ball on the ground, y/n startled sat down in front of Virgil, sitting toe to toe with him y/n takes a deep breath before speaking "hey, hey, Virgil right? it's ok! the crazy lady is gone, i need to know you can hear me if you can, grab my hands" y/n holds his hands out for Virgil watching quiet and patiently, Virgil hesitantly grabbed y/n's hands and giving them a light squeeze "alright, i need you to breathe, breathe in for four, hold for seven, out for eight" y/n says, Virgil squeezes y/n's and starts to take in deep breaths, 4, 7, 8.

after a little while Virgil looked up calmer then he was before "you ok?" y/n asks "yeah... how did you know my name?" Virgil asks "kinda guessed... same hoodie... and mine is my soulmate item and has the name Virgil written on it... so yeah" y/n blushes "oh..." Virgil blushes "you hungry? the food vendors here are pretty good..." y/n asks "yeah sure" Virgil smirks, y/n grins and stands up offering Virgil his hand, Virgil grabs y/n's hand and lifts himself up with y/n's help.

the two of them head to the food vendors getting to know each other and get some food.
