this is based off of @HiThereFellowKids soulmate oneshot's! I love the soulmate item idea so each reader has an item the other has! this reader has Roman's sash! so enjoy!

y/n sighs he was not ready for how bad auditions were going to be! so many people came and went him having to watch every single one with his friend, y/n was helping the director, his friend, with finding the lead for the play! but oh god were they awful! some of them read the script like they where robots others voice cracked! one straight up fainted! y/n was giving up hope and was making up ways to potentially have one of their roommates join when the last auditioner came in.

Roman paced back and forth, he was nerves, he was anxious! God, he hated it but oh so loved it! he paced behind the stage waiting for his turn to audition though he was nervous all the poor acts befor him was making him feel much more confident! acter after acter all of them bad! though he expected this from a small play that was more or less going to end up on youtube he was at least expecting that one or even four more people would be good! and this is for the main role! the lead role! maybe it was because of the play itself? 

the play being about a prince trying to find his true love in a time when arranged marriage is common, but while he searches his kingdom is under attack by the prince of the dark kingdom! the prince from the dark kingdom doesn't really wish to harm the kingdom of light but he has no choice as the crown of iron rose thorns he wears controls his life, if he doesn't comply to it's will an iron rose will bloom from his chest and turn into a normal rose, the rose will wilt in one moon phase and the dark prince will die with the flower if he isn't cured! the light prince doesn't know this and fights the dark prince but soon finds out that the crown is hurting him! thinking he is doing the right thing he takes the crown off the dark prince and offers him to stay at his castle, the two slowly get to know each other the light prince finding out that the dark prince was forced by his mother to wear the crown, as the two get to know each other tough the dark prince can feel the iron rose trying to pierce through him, the dark prince deciding to do the first right thing in his life goes back to his castle and takes the crown putting it on and heading up to his room he wrights a good by note to the light prince before allowing the rose and its iron thorns to take over his body and his home! the light prince rushes to the dark princes's castle and finds the dark prince and his note and looks for the cure to the crowns curse! as the moon phase passes the light prince returns a failure and sobs to the dark prince giving him a goodbye kiss confessing his love to the prince of darkness, the kiss cures the prince and the two have a happy ending! (if you couldn't tell this is a story idea I'm making for roman later on... in its own oneshot... yeah... have fun).

Roman sighs regaining his focus he walks onto the stage ready to perform one of the heartfelt moments from the play's script, he walks out seeing the director and the person who will be playing the dark prince, though to Romans shock the man that plays the dark prince is wearing his sash! and he knew it was his as it had his emblem on it! he mentally sighed wishing he had gone and worn his new outfit instead of his old one seeing as his old outfit didn't have his soulmate sash! he let out a small huff before starting his performance.

y/n smiled finally someone good! y/n turns to his friend "he is the last one let's just cast him now and then spend the rest of the evening telling the other people who auditioned that they didn't get the part" y/n whispers, sylveon nods (yes I'm going to be the friend for everyone... because I'm lazy... no there isn't multiple of me... I'm just lazy) "yeah good idea" Sylveon says befor standing up "Roman! you got the part! come in next week to begin rehearsals!" Sylveon calls out, Roman smiles doing a small dance on stage before running off "he's an interesting one" y/n laughs "indeed" Sylveon nods.

the week came and Roman was excited! he wore his new outfit as well as the sash his soulmates name is embroidered onto, Roman walks in to see y/n his soulmate and his dark prince! he runs up excitement bubbling " hello beauties, gentle-beauties and non-binary cuties!" Roman cheerily greats getting a couple of laughs and y/n's blushing gaze "y/n! can i speak with you for a quick second?" Roman asks shocking y/n "yeah sure?" y/n says questionably walking with Roman to a slightly secluded aria "what is it?" y/n asks only to have Roman flash him his own name embroidered into the sash Roman was wearing "well then... this makes the kissing scene less awkward for my gay ass" y/n laughs smiling up at roman "wait we actually get to kiss?" Roman asks a blush spreading across his cheeks "well before we would have faked it but now we could if you'd like" y/n grins, Roman laughs "most certainly my prince!" Roman smiles.

(and that's this chapter! so yeah... it's short... why? cause Roman gets a much bigger chapter later on! anyway, I'm dedicating this chapter to @Dorkydork527! who plays Roman in the little RP! anyway hope you all enjoyed this chapter!)
