this is based off of @HiThereFellowKids soulmate oneshot's! I love the soulmate item idea so each reader has an item the other has! this reader has Deceit's cloke! so enjoy!

Deceit huffed, he was not having a good day, first Remus stole his hat then Virgil rudely bumped him, he got kicked out of the house with Remus, Remus annoyed him further before running off claiming he was going to 'find some snake porn' causing him to have to run off after him to make sure he didn't and now he lost the green trash boy and is now lost himself!

letting out another huff Deceit walks into a nearby cafe and looks around, the cafe had very few people inside and was relatively quiet, he shuffled in quietly and hid in the back of the cafe trying to avoid people looking at his face, his scales as much as they may be fine in the house they are a big problem when going out, people often ask questions or look at him funny, he is not fond of it.

Sighing y/n head out from the back of the cafe with a tray full of food and heads to one of the tables, making it to the table the girls sat at it start to giggle and snicker to each other "three breakie specials and a smores french toast, two hot chocolates and a mocha caramel latte and a mocha-chino" y/n says placing the food in front of the right girl "thanks cute stuff~" one of them flirts "welcome..." y/n grumbles before taking a quick look around and spotting Deceit in the corner, heading over y/n pulls out the note pad and pen and begins "hello! what can i get you?" y/n asks, Deceit looks up startled before looking back down "i..i do... don't want anything" Deceit mumbles out "you sure? what are you doing in here if you're not here to order anything then what are you doing here?" y/n asks "i... I DIDN'T get locked out of my house" Deceit says cringing at the lie "oh? OH! you got looked out of your house!" y/n says, Deceit's head shoots up in shock looking at the face of a man about his age with (your hair look) and dazzling (eye colour) eyes.

you stare at the man, his face has scales on one side! his eyes heterochromatic and is hair a nice brown, the man looks down covering his face with his hat "uhh" he mumbles "sorry your face just... is that makeup?" I ask "n...yes" I could tell he was lying "that's pretty cool! I didn't think people could have scales!" I smile "how DON'T you know that I'm NOT lying?" he asks "oh? I can tell when someone lies! mostly because I'm a master lier" you laugh "hey you got locked out of your place? do you want something to eat? it's on me... I'm actually about to be off work soon and if you want I can even help you get back into your home" you offer, he gives you a bright smile before frowning "why AREN'T you helping me?" he asks "well you have the same cloke as me and I have a feeling that you may be my soulmate! ad if not a little kindness never killed anyone~" you smile "so what would you like?" you ask smiling brightly.

y/n heads up the stairs of the cafe and grabs his cloke, his soulmate item, with the name 'blank Deceit' written on it, smiling y/n ran back down grabbing his and Deceits food before heading out into the rest of the cafe to see the group of girls at Deceits table "HEY! leave him alone!" y/n calls out heading over to Deceits table "aww but y/n! he's a freak! look at his face!" one of the girls cries "i think his face looks cool now get out of here assholes" y/n says glairing, the four girls grumble and leave "sorry those four have been kinda on my tail since high school, they even made fake versions of my cloke to try and make me think they were my soulmate" y/n explains as he sits in front of Deceit "is your name Deceit?" y/n asks handing Deceit his order "y...NO!" Deceit nods, y/n smiles and hands his cloke over for Deceit to look at "the first name came blank so I was left with just Deceit" y/n explains as Deceit's eyes light up in happiness "you AREN'T my soulmate!" Deceit smiles.

the two laugh and talk and get close enjoying the food before heading over to Deceits home where y/n picks the lock for him before heading home after giving Deceit a quick peck on the cheek.
