You recently joined Voltron not too long ago, you became the pilot of the (F/C) lion. At the time, no one knew that Pidge was actually a female, including you. You weren't the kind of person to judge by who someone wants to be, so obtaining the information of her true form would have no affect on you.

It was late at night, and you wished to talk to Pidge. Not about anything in particular just wanted to have a smooth conversation to ease your mind. You were walking down the halls of the castle and came upon Pidge's room.

You knocked softly and called for him. "Pidge?" Without a reply, the door opened with a small figure in the room. It was Pidge, but not in his normal clothing. His clothing looked comfy. Baggy pants and an oversized sweatshirt.

"Oh hi, (Y/N). I was just about to go outside." He said while rubbing one of his eyes. "Wanna come?" The question came out. You were a bit confused. "But it's the middle of the night." You told Pidge with worry in your voice.

"Oh come on, it's only-" There was a pause as he rolled up his sleeve and checked his watch that had Earth hours on it. "almost 11 pm." Pidge finished.

Instead of disagreeing with him, you shrugged. 'Why not?'. Pidge then walked out of his room, motioning for you to follow, so you did. You followed him to the exit of the castle.

Since you guys were on a planet with air, you didn't have to wear armor, yet pidge did for some odd reason. He said he wasn't going to wear his armor while we were outside. Very confusing.  The two of you exited the castle and you continued to follow him.

Once the two of you were outside, Pidge led you to the back of the castle. He went up from behind you, and lifted you up bridal style. You were confused at first and squirmed in his grasp.

"Hey! What gives?" You looked up at Pidge in confusion. He was pretty strong for his size. "How else are we going to get to the top of the castle?" Pidge replied, keeping his eyes up at the night sky.

"Oh that makes sense." You said back. Then your mind processed what he just said. "Wait what? The top of the castle? Are you crazy?!" You yelled at Pidge, a bit nervous.

With a bit of hesitation, Pidge said gently; "Maybe I am." Then uses his jet packs to start flying up to a landing on the castle. You gripped on tight to him with your hands around his neck. He giggled as he went up. You blushed a bit.

After you guys were up to a spot where you two could stay, Pidge landed and put you down. "Thanks." You mumbled and peered over the edge to see how far off the ground you were. You two were pretty high up.

You jumped back away from the edge. "You know this isn't safe, right?" You said with panic in your tone. Pidge snickered. "It's fine." He slumped down and patted the spot next to him, motioning for you to sit next to him.

Carefully, you did so. That's when Pidge sighed and took off his armor, placing to the other side of him. That's when he laid down and looked up at the stars.

"Beautiful, isn't it." He smiled and looked at you. You nodded in agreement, holding your knees while stargazing as well.

After a few moments of peaceful silence, Pidge sat up. "(Y/N), can I tell you something?" He asked nervously. "Yeah, what's up?" You casually replied.

He turned to face you, adjusting his glasses. "There has been something I've been meaning to tell you.. and I hope it won't ruin our relationship.." Pidge said with worry.

You put your hand on his thigh and said softly; "You can tell me anything that you're comfortable with Pidge." A smile grew across Pidge's face.

He stared down at his fingers, twiddling them. "I.. I'm not actually a male. I'm a female. And-" He looked up at you once more. "My name isn't Pidge, it's Katie." He looked down again, this time at the castle floor. "I hope this doesn't make you think different of me." Katie's eyes started to tear up.

With some hesitation, you jumped at Katie, with a tackle hug, the two of you hugging on the floor. "You're still the same to me no matter who you are Katie." You whispered in her ear. Her grasp grew tight.

"I.. I love you (Y/N)." Slipped out of Katie's mouth. You were shocked with this information, not moving, in the same position. You will admit, knowing that Pidge is actually not a dude makes things a whole lot better. Plus it's cuter.

You smiled and had a red glow to your face. "I love you too Katie. Just the way you are." You squeezed her harder, almost leaving her breathless. You two were a hugging mess.

You finally lifted your head up a bit, about to get off of Katie. "Wait-" Katie stoped you, pulled on your shirt for you to stay in the pose you were in. Then Katie pulled you in for a quick kiss. You felt a bit embarrassed. You didn't pull back from the small peck.

You two stayed in that one position, you on top of Pidge. Instead of words, you just stared into each other's eyes, admiring the beauty in each other. "You know," you broke the silence. "Who needs to stargaze, when I can just get lost in your eyes?" You giggled.

"Oh my god (Y/N), if you're going to act like Lance, I'm gonna break up with you." Katie teasingly pushed you off of her.

"Noo~" You playfully whined, falling to your back in defeat, facing the sky. You looked over and Katie and smiled. "Wait. Does this mean.. we are a thing..?" Katie nodded. You were pleased with her response. Fireworks were going off in your mind, butterflies in your stomach.

Katie scooted over to you, cuddling with you under the night sky. The two of you cuddled to keep warm, while stargazing. After some silence, the two of you pointed out constellations, played mini games, told stories, anything to pass the time.

It was past an hour of fun and games, when you found Katie was asleep in your arms. You looked down at her and chuckled. You planted a kiss right in her forehead and whispered; "Goodnight Katie." You smiled, looking back up at the sky, and soon falling asleep.
