This takes place before Aaron dated Aph and it is in PDH

Zane leaned against the wall. It was the summer solstice dance, which he thought was stupid.

Everyone had already graduated, so Zane thought he had gotten past all the dances, but nope!

He looked over at his best friend Aphmau. She was arguing about something.

Zane inched over to hear her.

"Come on Aphmau!" Said Laurence. "You really want to dance with Garroth?! All he knows is how to hula!"

"At least I don't have 2 left feet!" Yelled Garroth. "Aphmau dance with me! A real man!"

Aphmau looked super uncomfortable, so Zane barged into the crowd.

"Aphmau doesn't have to dance with a boy for love. Stop arguing over her! Can't she just dance with friends?!" Zane grabbed Aphmau's arm. "Come on Aphmau. I'll make sure they'll leave you alone."

Aphmau blushed beet red. "T-thanks Zane. I owe you one. Those two were getting on my nerves."

Suddenly, the lights went out.

"What the-?" Asked Zane.

"And now-" yelled the announcer. "Is the cutest couple dance! The spotlight please!"

A red light beamed onto Aph and Zane, and music started playing.

(The blood moon waltz from Star vs FOE) 

Zane started to dance with Aphmau.

"Z-Zane? I didn't know you could ballroom dance!" She squealed.

Zane blushed. They were enjoying the dance so much.

"Aphmau?" Said Zane. "I-I love you."

Aphmau gasped. "Y-you do?"

Zane lowered his mask and pulled her into a kiss. "Yes."
