I woke up in the middle of the night, my stomach's growling breaking the dead silence. I sighed softly as I hopped out of bed, slowly walking towards the cafeteria. No one had gotten hurt yet, so I figured there would be no harm and that no one would be around.

When I made it to the cafeteria, I noticed that the lights were still on inside. Thinking nothing of it, I blankly wandered towards the kitchen. Once I opened the door, however, I was in shock at the scene before me.

Tsumugi was standing alone in the kitchen, a knife in her hand. She suddenly glanced up at me, a furious expression on her face. I begin to shake as she charged towards me, promptly running out of the kitchen.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as fast as one may believe. The girl charged towards me, the knife landing straight into my thigh. I let out a pained cry as blood began to pour out of the wound, holding it in my hands as I distanced myself away from her.

"Why are you doing this...?" I choked softly, looking up to meet the girl's gaze. Her face bore a blank expression as she charge towards me again, this time missing my heart and landing in my upper arm.

"I want to get out of here!" She yelled, her usually quiet voice filling up the entire room. "I don't care what it costs! I'm so sick of this hell!"

She dove at me again, this time the knife aimed straight for my neck. Unfortunately, I had found myself backed towards a wall, making me an easy target. Just before the knife met my skin, Tsumugi froze in place. The sound of footsteps filled up the room, and Tsumugi loosened her grip on me enough for me to wiggle out of it.

"S-shirogane?" A male voice shouted in disbelief. "And (y/n)-chan? What's going on?"

Tsumugi turned away from me, suddenly running out of the cafeteria. I slumped onto the ground, clutching at my wounds. They weren't enough to kill me, though I was losing quite a bit of blood. The footsteps grew closer to me as I looked up and saw Saihara standing over me.

"What happened?" He asked as his eyes scanned my injured body. "You need some help... you're losing so much blood."

I opened my mouth to respond, but no words came out. I suppose it was my shyness taking over my life again as usual. Saihara extended his hand out to me, helping me wobble up to my feet.

"I have some bandages in my room, if you don't mind," he offered calmly. I could only muster a nod in response, using his shoulder for support as he guided me down the empty hallways.

Once inside his dorm, I found him forcing my to sit down on the edge of his bed. I complied, not having the guts nor energy to protest. He walked into the bathroom for a few short moments, coming back out with some wrap bandages and a rag.

"Is it ok if I... touch them?" He asked nervously. "The wounds, I mean. I wouldn't want you to have to tend to them."

I nodded meekly, him beginning to dab at the gashes with the cloth. It stung like hell, but I was relieved as the blood began to disappear from my skin. He then wrapped the bandage around my arm wound, tying it so that it wasn't too loose nor too tight.

"You might want to wrap your own thigh wound..." he stammered as he held the bandage out to me. I took it silently, making quick work of the wrapping. Once it was finished, I felt a wave of relief pass through me.

"I'm glad you're alright..." he smiled nervously, siting down next to me at the foot of his bed. "I was pretty worried about you..."

"Don't worry about me..." I muttered meekly in response.

He let out a small sigh. "Of course I'm going to worry about you."

"Still... I'm alright..." I murmured. "You'll just waste your time."

"I'm not wasting time, don't worry," he shook his head. "You needed help, and I came to your aid. Any normal person would be worried sick in that situation."

"T-thank you," I murmured as my cheeks grew hot. I was still taken aback by the whole situation- how on earth did I end up in Saihara's dorm at the middle of the night?

As if on cue, my stomach begin to growl. "Hungry?" Saihara asked, a hint of amusement on his generally serious face. I nodded, him rising from the bed.

"You stay here, I'll grab you some food," he offered as he planted a quick kiss on my forehead. I covered my mouth with my hands as he turned away from me, completely frozen in shock. It was too much for me to process all at once, and being practically exhausted didn't help. What was Saihara doing at the middle of the night anyways?

I fell back onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling. I heard the door open as he came back inside, though I didn't bother to lift my head to look at him.

"How's about this?" He called, holding a bun over my head. I quickly took it from him, easing back up to a sitting position as I began to eat it.

"Thank you..." I stammered softly, staring straight into his golden eyes.

"Ah..." he breathed, his face reddening. "Don't thank me. I was hungry anyways."

When I finished eating, I leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek. "You saved me, you know... I owe you one."

He shook his head dismissively. "No, you don't owe me a thing. Just knowing you're alright is enough for me."
