Tonight was the night. (Y/n) (l/n), the Ultimate Actress, would perform for the first time at the Gifted Prisoner's Academy. As she was the first actress to be selected to attend the academy, immense pressure was placed on her to be successful.
And yet, she flourished. A wide grin was plastered on her face as she bowed on stage, the audience flooding her with roses and other flowers. But just like that, it was over. She found herself alone in her dimly lit dressing room, the only other substantial thing in there being her thoughts. She stared blankly into the mirror, having just wiped off her makeup and changed into her standard clothing.
Suddenly, a figure appeared behind her. Her eyes widened in shock, but she didn't make a single noise. She could only watch her reflection as a pair of bandaged hands snaked around her body, gently grazing her collarbone and the tip of her chin. She quickly snapped to turn around, trying to get a better look at her attacker.
"Who are you...?" She asked, backing towards the vanity in the room. The figure followed her, stepping more into the light. There, she was able to examine their appearance. Long, black hair; narrow, soulless yellow eyes. Completely outfitted in an olive green uniform. Just who was this person?
"Kukuku, Do you not know me..?" The boy laughed, his icy voice sending chills up (y/n)'s spine. She could only watch emptily as he slowly took her hand in his, holding it out in front of him. "I.. am Shinguuji Korekiyo. You see, I find humans perplexingly beautiful. And your performance tonight was... exceptionally so."
"I'm going to call security," the girl threatened, though the boy merely shook his head at her in response.
"No one's coming to save you," he stated grimly, his expression remaining stoic. Suddenly, he jerked on her hand, guiding her out of the dressing room. The hallway was pitch black, indicating everyone else had already gone home for the night. (Y/n) yelped as she followed the boy's movement, him guiding her to the eerily empty stage.
"Why are we... here?" The girl asked meekly, her voice squeaking like a mouse.
"Kukuku, you will see," was all he offered in response. He guided her towards the trap door, the two of them standing on top of it.
With the snap of the fingers on his other hand, the floor underneath them opened up, both of them propelling down through the door (still hand in hand). (Y/n) let out a scream, as she hadn't had much experience using a trap door.
It felt like an eternity before they landed, their bodies forcefully making contact with the cushiony mat. Despite it softening the blow, it still sent a surge of pain up (y/n)'s spine. Korekiyo chuckled, standing up and then helping (y/n) stand up as well.
"I don't understand. There's nothing down here!" (Y/n) exclaimed, still obediently following the boy as he guided her to one of the walls of the room. He pushed on it, and it opened to reveal a narrow, dimly lit hallway.
"You are beautiful, my dear," he explained soothingly. "However, you must realize it is not all as it seems."
Before she could offer a response, she found herself being dragged down the hallway by the boy. As they made their way, he kept looking back at her every few moments. Despite this repetitive behavior, (y/n) found herself becoming flustered each time.
After what felt like an eternity, the two of them ended up in a strange room similar to a bedroom. In it was old set pieces, outfitted to be used as furniture, as well as other findings from the theatre. He sat (y/n) down on a lavish, cream colored sofa, which was clearly an old prop but still seemingly quite expensive.
"Why did you even take me down here?" She asked brazenly, in a mixture of horror and curiosity.
"Kukuku... I wanted to show you my home," he explained. "And... I wanted you to get to know me better. I already know much about you, you peculiar, beautiful human. But you barely knew of my existence up until we met a few moments ago."
"So you live here?" She asked in clarification. "Why? You could get in trouble if you were caught. There are plenty of other places to stay, you know."
"Don't worry about it," he insisted, avoiding the question. Next thing she knew, (y/n) was being guided by him again. This time, it was to a door in the corner of the room. He opened it to reveal a strange, surreal balcony overlooking a sort of underground river.
"Woah! What?!" (Y/n) yelled, completely flabbergasted by the scenery. "Is this even possible? How is this underneath the school?"
"You worry too much," Korekiyo sighed. "Do not worry, my dear. I only desire to show you things you might take interest in."
(Y/n) smiled. "This is pretty amazing."
He turned to face her, lightly placing his hands on either of her arms. He began to stroke them gently, a contact that was strange but not uncomfortable. He placed his fingers under her chin, tilting her jaw up so that their eyes met again.
"I cannot remove my mask, you see," he sighed sadly. (Y/n)'s heart raced as her fingers subconsciously moved up to his face, gently trying to pull his mask off. He simply batted them away gently, shocking her slightly.
"Oh, so do you desire to break my rules?" He asked mockingly. "You won't like what happens to you if you do."
"Sorry..." she muttered softly. Before she could say anymore, Korekiyo quickly wrapped his arms around her. She hugged back awkwardly, though she eventually grew accustomed to the embrace.
"Please, (y/n). You are a beautiful human. I can only hope you'd come down here with me often. I want to see your beauty as much as I can."
