I'll Fall (Kiibo X Reader)

Requested by the awesome and amazing Kureiji_chan ! Seriously, this is one of my favorite people on Wattpad and my dear RP partner!

"Haha! We totally got you!" Iruma chuckled, saliva spewing from her mouth as she spoke. I glanced down at my soda-drenched body, my clothing dripping with purple fluid. Her and Ouma had teamed up to create a cruel prank, and I was (of course) their victim.

"Nishishishi!" Ouma cackled, innocently throwing his hands up into the air. I felt tears well up in my eyes as I abruptly turned away from them, making the slightly lengthy hike from the cafeteria where they pranked me to the dormitory.

On the way, I seemingly caught Kiibo's attention. He opened his mouth to say something, but then quickly shut it. I just continued walking, leaving a trail of soda in my wake.

I threw my soiled clothing off, hopping immediately into the shower. Once I was clean and the sugary drink was no longer on my skin, I wrapped myself in a towel and then hopped out of the shower.

In the middle of changing, I heard a sound like footsteps in the room. I froze like a deer and turned towards the doorway, at which Kiibo was standing red-faced.

"Hey!" I yelled, anger evident in my voice. "Get out of here!!"

"My apologies," the robot yelled frantically, putting his hands up in surrender.

I groaned. "It's alright, just get out!"

"I'm sorry!" He whined, his face turning red. Suddenly, he collapsed to the ground, a loud thud accompanying his fall.

After clothing myself, I went to go check on the robot boy. I placed my hand against his metallic forehead, which was abnormally warm.

"He must have overheated," I thought out loud, a slight hint of sympathy in my voice. While I attempted to pull his powerless body towards the couch, or somewhere he could get some rest, it wouldn't budge.

After a few moments, his eyes flickered to life again, him easing himself back up to standing with a few mechanical movements.

"Thank goodness you're alright," I sighed in relief. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean, 'alright'?" He pondered.

I suddenly dove at the robotic boy, pulling him into a tight hug. While his body was quite firm and uncomfortable to hug, it was still strangely warm for a robot. I had always hoped that he was a real person at one point from the second that I'd met him.

"What is the meaning of this?!" He yelled, refusing to hug me back.

"You overheated, and I was worried I wouldn't have been able to help you," I chuckled. "Also, it's called a hug. Could you try to wrap your arms around me too, please?"

Hesitantly, I felt a pair of robotic arms wrap themselves around my waist. After a few short moments, I pulled away from him.

"I don't remember overheating," the robot admitted. "However.... you were covered in some sort of liquid earlier. I was concerned."

"Oh," I muttered darkly. "Ouma-Kun and Iruma-San thought it'd be fun to douse me in soda for a prank."

"What?! They get sport out of your suffering?!" The boy exclaimed angrily, suddenly turning to the door. "I will figure out the meaning of this!"

"Kiibo, no!" I protested, grabbing the machine by the hand. While he could have easily pulled away from my proportionally weak grip, he suddenly froze in place. He turned to me with a slightly hurt expression, which made my heart flutter slightly.

"It's better to just leave it alone..." I assured him. "Trying to fight against them will only make matters worse, I'm sure of it."

"But... they've upset you..." he whimpered. I merely shook my head in response.

"Kiibo, I'm alright. Don't worry," I exclaimed, a small smile forming on my lips. "At any rate, since you're here, do you want to spend some time together?"

He nodded in response. "Excellent!"

I began to walk out of my dorm room, Kiibo lagging behind me. Once we were outside, I turned towards the door leading to the field.

"What are we going to do,  (y/n)?" He asked brazenly. I didn't respond, merely plopping down near a portion of the field covered in flowers. He sat next to me, a confused yet adorable expression on his pale face.

"You'll see," I smirked, beginning to pick a few flowers and stringing them together. After making a string long enough to wrap around someone's head, I secured it into a loop and placed it on his.

"Wha-what is this?!" He stammered, his cheeks tinged a slight pink. I giggled at his panicked reaction, which only caused him to become more flustered.

"It's a flower crown," I explained. "You give them to people you care about!"

"Oh..." he sighed. "In that case..."

I watched as the robot fumbled to recreate a flower crown of his own. When he was finished, he gingerly placed it on top of my head. While it was poorly made, you could tell he made an honest effort.

"Do you like it?" The boy asked innocently. "I know that it is not up to the same caliber that yours is..."

Acting on impulse, I found myself wrapping my arms around the robot boy into a tight hug. "Don't say that! I love it!"

"I'm happy, (y/n)," the robot boy whispered, this time hugging back. When we finally pulled away, I found myself planting a small kiss on his metallic cheek.

"What was that?" He asked brazenly, fingers touching the spot where I kissed him.

"It's a kiss, Kiibo-Kun," I explained. Suddenly, I was caught off guard by a pair of metallic lips crashing into my cheek.

"Like that?" He asked, staring down at the grown. I nodded happily, my own face ringing bright pink.

"Yes... of course," I smiled. "Just like that."
