You smiled widely in awe as you looked up at Death Weapon Meister Academy. You had dreamed about going to the DWMA ever since you learned about it, and you were finally there.

With confident steps, you walked up to the doors and let yourself in. It was buzzing with energy, Meisters and their weapons hurrying to class, and other students all mixed together in front of you.

You stepped forward to try to find the faculty office when you bumped into someone. Groaning, the person started,

"Hey watch where you're go-" You looked at the person who had stopped in the middle of their sentence and came face to face with a boy with grey hair and shark-like teeth. He wasn't moving at all, he was just...staring at you.

"Um..hello are you okay?" You asked as the stranger continued to say nothing. You snapped your fingers in front of him before he shook his head to snap himself out of whatever trance he was in.

"I'm Soul I bumped into you, my names sorry." You giggled at his failed attempt to apologize and introduce himself.

"Well it's nice to meet you sorry, I'm (Y/N)." Soul smiled anxiously before running off to who knows where. You scoffed with a smile on your face and said to yourself.

"What a weirdo."

(Time Skip)

After a while, you had made it to the faculty room and received your schedule.

"Meister class huh.." You asked as you made your way to your first class.

Opening the door quietly, you entered and watched as everyone's attention shifted from the teacher to you.

"Um..sorry to interrupt but I'm the next Meister in your class. My name is (Y/N) (L/N), it's nice to meet you all." You bowed and listened to the students clap. The professor called out to you,

"Welcome to class, you can have a seat by Maka Alburn." Your eyes roamed the classroom until one girl with blonde hair and pigtails waved at you.

Smiling, you walked up to the empty seat beside her and greeted,

"Hello!" Maka smiled in return and was going to reply when someone on the opposite of her started talking to her.

"Maka, you've got to switch seats with me." You watched as the boy from earlier pleaded with Maka.

"What? Why?" Maka asked as her eyes gradually made their way to you, as if finally understanding why Soul wanted to change seats.

Maka smiled and nodded before quickly changing seats with the boy. He smiled at you and held out his hand for a handshake.

You smiled and shook his hand when you felt him slip you a piece of paper from the hand you shook.

Puzzled, you opened it under your desk.

"Sorry for earlier, my name's soul." You laughed silently and took out a pencil to reply to him.

"It's okay, I thought it was pretty adorable. It's nice to meet you Soul." You closed up the note and passed it back to him.

Not even a minute went by before you got a reply.

"You think I'm adorable? C'mon you're making me blush over here." You turned to see pink hues covering his cheeks. Smiling, you replied once again.

"Yes, and you blushing makes it even more adorable." You once again passed it back to Soul.

You both went back and forth like that until the end of class. Once the bell rang, you grabbed your things and went to leave, when a hand caught your wrist.

"Wait a sec, (Y/N)." You turned to see Soul with an anxious look in his eyes as he stopped you. Your heart started beating fast questionably and you nodded.

"Uh..haha..I don't know how to say this.." Soul said as he rubbed the back of his neck. You smiled and put your hand on his shoulder.

"Just breathe and take your time." Soul smiled widely at you and said confidently,

"Since you put it that way, would you be interested in going on a date with me after school? I know a great place." You blushed slightly and turned your head.

"Y..yeah sure." Soul laughed and pointed at you.

"Who's adorable now?!" You frowned but soon joined him in laughter, happy you met such a fun and cute guy.
