So Chapter 3 suddenly disappeared. I have no idea what happened but I am a little annoyed.

Waking up felt different for some reason. I felt happy and ready for anything. Stretching up, I picked up my phone and checked the time. 11am, perfect time to wake up on a saturday. When I opened my door I was greeted with silence.

"Mom must be at work.."

I decided to skip breakfast and get dressed straightaway. As soon as I was ready, I sat down and rested my head on my desk. What can I do today?

There was a knock on my door a few moments later.

"Who could that be...?" I got up and headed down to the door. Opening it, I saw Serena with a big smile.

"Good morning Ash" She stepped inside and I shut the door.

"How come you're here so early?" I asked, moving into the living room.

"Ash.. it's 11am" Serena folded her arms.

"Yeah, early" I smiled back at her.

"I woke up 4 hours ago, that's early" She moved into the living roon too.

"So, what have you come for?" I went straight to the point, it seemed unusual that she was in my house.

"Everyone was going to the cinema this afternoon and I was wondering if you are coming?"

"First I have heard of it" I looked up in thought "Hmm... I might be busy this afternoon"

Serena look rejected for a moment. I still had a smile on my face.

"I am only joking, Serena. I'll be there" I put my arm around her and she smiled.

"I know you was" She sighed and headed to the door "Ash?"

"Yeah?" I said as I opened the door for her.

"I love you, you know that right?" Her words kind of stunned me.

"Of course I do. You know it all the same" She walked down the steps and turned around.

"See you later!" She turned back and headed home.

The line for tickets to the movie was empty. We all stepped forward and bought a whole group of tickets and snacks. I took hold of Serenas hand as we headed into the cinema. We took our seats and waited for the movie to start. Advertisements were still on, giving us time to talk.

"Don't worry if you get scared" I whispered to Serena.

"I wont get scared" She sounded confident but everyone knew she has a thing for pointing out the paranormal and being scared.

"Sure" I said casually, leaning into my chair. She digged me in the arm "What was that for?"

"You know what it was for" She smiled and winked "I am not scared of anything anymore"

Sure, I thought in my head. She digged me again "Ow!" I rubbed my arm.

"I know what you was thinking"

"Right" I hoped for no more digs.

The movie started and of course, part way through, Serena got scared. She buried her head next to my arm.

"Serena, are you ok?" I whispered really quietly.

She looked up, a little embarrassed and nodded. I slipped my hand down to hers and held it. I looked up and smiled. She returned the smile and we finished the film, Serena not being scared once. Throughout the film I realized something in my head.

Everything was back the way it was meant to be and before christmas too. Serena and I always spent Christmas Eve at mine and the day at hers.

I was glad that we was back again. I could only cross my fingers and hope that nothing happened anymore. I wanted the rest of the year to be perfect, but sometimes, you don't get what you want.
