I woke up, to see Serena was still in bed. I gently removed my arm from her side and got out of bed. I quietly stepped outside, onto the balcony. The ocean wind was heavy and the suns heat was intense. It was a mixed feeling of hot and cold, just right.

I stretched and looked over at the clock, above the door. It was 6am, a little too early. I sat down on the small sofa and turned on the TV.

I spent an hour flicking through channels before two hands gently gripped my shoulders. I turned my head round as much as I could and was met by a kiss from Serena.

"Morning" She released and smiled, before sitting next to me.

"Thank god you're awake. I am starving" I said. Serena looked at me like I expected her to make it l

"Oh No! I gestured to the hotel phone. She awkwardky blinked for a moment and I laughed nervously.

After some awkward silence, I got room service for us.

We sat and ate bacon, eggs, sausages and there was too much food.

"What are going to do today?" Serena asked. I sat and contemplate our options.

"Guess we should look around town, see if anything interests us" Serena's eyes flashed. I knew this meant shopping.

We took turns using the bathroom and got changed. Then, we headed out into the streets.

There was so many different shops of different cultures. The first shop we went into was a clothes shop. Different coloured shirts, pants and various other items of clothing sat in neat rows along the rails. I followed Serena to the girls clothes. Guess all I could do was sit down and wait for her, as she took a load of clothes to try on.

She came out wearing different outfits and each time asked for my opinion.

"How do I look?" She walked out wearing a cut off leather jacket, a white t-shirt and jeans.

"I don't care what you wear, you always look amazing"

Serena blushed, yet frowned "That doesn't help, Ash!" She went back in and took a load of clothes back, before buying a few items.

Then, we headed to a bakery. There was so much to choose from. I decided on a bag of doughnuts, to have later. Serena didn't buy anything, so we headed down the street.

At the end of the street there was a large building. The entrance had a notice listing all of the activities inside.

"Let's go onto the roof and look through the binoculars" I suggested. Serena nodded in agreement so we went inside.

I bought two tickets for the roof and we went up through the elevator. The roof was empty and through the telescopes and binoculars, you could see for miles. The building was perfectly positioned to get a full view of the coast and the harbour.

"This is so cool!" I said excitedly, with one eye through a scope.

"The view up here is incredible" Serena added.

I moved over to her and slipped my arms around her waist.

"The view up here is incredible" I said, with a grin.

Serena blushed again "Ash, when do you ever stop being charming" She smiled and I kissed her on the cheek. We stared out to the ocean again and a thought crossed my mind. I wondered what everyone else was up to.

"This makes me want to go up onto the Eiffel tower" Serena said dreamily.

"Maybe next year, huh?" I teased. Serena giggle as I kissed her again, then let go off her waist.

We left the roof and headed out onto the street to get some lunch. There was a mexican food bar close by, so we went there.

"I have never had mexican" I said excitedly. I was ready to try it.

"Me neither, wonder what it's like" Serena wondered.

We ordered some tortilla chips and dips and both got some sort of special burrito.

When I got the burrito, I looked inside. There was meat and lots of peppers and salad. I think it had some sort of salsa on it as I took a bite. The burrito tasted so good that when I finished it, I wanted Serena's. She took her time and then we shared the tortilla chips. They was just like doritos so it didn't make a difference in taste, it was nothing new.

We finished pretty quickly and continued to walk, hand in hand. I squeezed Serena's hand to get her attention.

"Ow. What?" She said, looking in my direction. There was an arcade that was flashing with bright lights and various sounds from all of the games inside.

"Lets make the afternoon fun!" I said, crossing the road.

Serena followed me as I jogged inside. I looked at her to check if she was ok. She seemed happy so we set off around the arcade, looking for games to play.

The sun was beginning to go down, so we headed to the hotel with our bags.

Once we got in, I jumped in the shower. It had been a long, fun day. Being with Serena, alone, made it better. I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist and a towel over my shoulders. I snapped my fingers at Serena, who was staring blankly at me, or more so my body. I had a six-pack coming on from going to the gym so much, encouraged by gary and drew, but it was nothing special. I still looked like the same kid I did a few years ago, just a secret weapon underneath.

"What, sorry" She nervously giggled and blushed, before putting her hands on my chest. She got on her tip toes and leaned in. I met her lips and kissed them. Serena slowly moved over to the bathroom and closed the door. I got changed and then sat down, turning on the TV again. Serena came out in her usual night gown and then sat next to me. We cuddled for a few hours, while flicking through various tv channels. Then, I noticed Serena was asleep. She had a soft, gentle snore. It was like a tiny whistle. She looked even more beautiful when she slept. I put one arm under her head and one under her legs. I scooped her up and slowly placed her in the bed. I then put the covers over her and stroked her hair out of her eyes. She was still fast asleep.

I had already forgot about everything over the past two years, everything bad that had happened was now gone.

Serena felt like the one, this was true love.

She was mon amour, my love.
