Ash finally arrived outside of the pizza place.

"I have been here atleast 10 minutes, Ash. What kept you?" I guessed it was Sarah and Ash said my thoughts.

"Sorry, Sarah called just before I left" He scratched his head and I frowned. She was getting on my nerves.

"Does she know about us?" I asked as we sat at a table and ordered a pepperoni pizza.

Ash shrugged "I haven't said anything"

I tensed a little in my chair "Maybe you should, she seems to be getting a bit close to you. I think she is trying to rekindle your old relationship" I tried to point out.

Ash laughed and shook his head "We are just friends, for sure. After all, you're my girlfriend. I haven't seen her in 2 years, that's all" He shrugged as our pizza arrived.

We began eating as she walked in.

"Oh hey, Ash!" She seemed surprised to see him.

Ash looked up from his pizza and I frowned. He never looked up from his pizza when I spoke.

"Fancy seeing you here" He said with that dumb nervous smile. I smiled, I liked his smile alot.

"You seem to be having fun with your friend" The words that came out of her mouth left me stunned.

My head snapped up as Ash awkwardly laughed.

"This is my girlfriend, Serena" It sounded to me like he made it seem like bad news. I closed my eyes and gloated for a second, as if to say he's mine.

"Oh, how nice. Guess I'll see you tomorrow" She waved and Ash turned back to his pizza. She sounded like the biggest kid ever.

I stopped eating and looked out of the window. If Ash was content with awkward silence then so was I. I was making my 'jealousy' obvious.

I put my fist under my chin and let out a sigh that screamed for a conversation starter.

"You okay, Serena?" Ash had finished his pizza and decided to speak.

"I'm fine. Sarah seems like a nice person" I smiled as we got up and left.

Ash's phone vibrated and he pulled it out of his pocket.

"Message from one of the boys?" I asked, all nosey.

Ash shook his head and I knew the answer "Just Sarah, asking if I am ok for tomorrow"

"I thought we was going to watch a movie?" I reached for Ash's hand but couldn't find it. He was acting so weird.

"Oh yeah, erm.. We still can" He laughed nervously as I narrowed my eyes.

"No it's fine go hang out with your amazing friend Sarah" I said as sarcastic as ever.

Ash was so dense as a smile lit across his face "Thanks Serena, you are the best!"

I wanted to go home so I walked up the street and said nothing. I instantly walked in and straight upstairs.

Was I losing Ash? I took the pendant off and opened it up, looking at the picture of Ash. I sighed deeply. Maybe it is just my jealousy. After all, me and Ash have been through a lot but always come out together.

But how long will it last? Is the question always in my head. It will only be answered on that day.
