It was as early as 6am, but I was too excited to sleep any longer. This years Christmas with Ash is going to be better than the last.

It was Christmas Eve, the first 'Christmas' for me and Ash. Him and his Mom done Christmas dinner on the eve, so I go over to his house then. The air outside was below 0 degrees and the frost was visible on the windows. The grass outside was layered with blankets of white snow.

I decided to get changed and head over to Ash's. My Mom hasn't woken up so I crept out of the front door.

I knocked hard on Ash's door and he answered almost immediately. The inside of his house was covered in red and tinsel. It was wrapped on the stairs and over the ceiling and even on the TV. There was so many bright baubles and flashing lights in different colours across the tree.

His Mom was awake too and it made me feel like it wasn't even 6am.

"Come in, we was just making breakfast" Dellia smiled at me and I politely returned it.

"Great I am soo hungry" I said, skipping over to the table.

I sat next to Ash as Dellia dished out bacon and eggs.

Halfway through my breakfast, Ash finished and got up.

"How is that even possible?" I laughed.

Dellia smiled "He is like a vaccum, when he was little he would eat anything. I mean literally anything" I laughed a little at the creative thoughts in my head.

"Mom lets not talk about my childhood" Ash said, slightly embarrassed.

We shared a laugh and then I finished up my breakfast. I took my bag and held it up at Ash.

"Time for some presents!" I said excitedly. Ash nodded and he raced away upstairs.

I followed him up quickly and walked into his room.

I spent weeks picking out a present and I wasn't sure if he would like it.

"Here you go" He said, passing my a present. It was a little pendant with a heart that opened up. I opened up the heart and looked inside.

It was a picture of Ash, scratching his head as he did and laughing. It only showed him from the chest up. I closed it and clutched it in my hand.

A big smile crept over my face "Thanks, Ash" I leaned in and kissed him as a thank you.

"My present is kind of the same, but-" I said rustling through my bag.

I brought out a black T-Shirt with a picture of me and Ash around a white border. I handed him a T-shirt and he unfolded it.

"Wow, Serena these are amazing" He said looking at the picture.

I blushed slightly and held out mine.

"Also" I handed him a present and he took it.

"You didn't have-" He said halfway through unwrapping it, but he saw the present.

He opened the box and pulled a watch "Yes it is real gold" I said smiling.

"This must have cost a fortune!" He said in absolute shock.

"Well, it is also a present to say sorry for the trouble these past few months" I moved closer to Ash and he put his arm round me and drew me into his chest.

"Oh, Serena" He looked like he could cry "It's all behind us now, lets forget about it"

I nodded "I'm sorry, guess I wanted to show you how sorry I was"

We spent the rest of the day watching Christmas movies and hugging in his bed. Occasionally I would fall asleep, but wake up to Ash laughing at some comedic moments in a film. I smiled to myself.

At dinner, we put on our t-shirts.

Dellia smiled brightly "You guys look so cute" She laughed as we sat down.

Soon, it became really dark and it was time for me to go home.

"Thanks for a wonderful day and a great time" I said to Dellia.

She acted like it was nothing "Any time, Serena. You're always welcome here"

I blushed slightly as Ash walked me 4 doors down and home.

"Thanks for a great day, Ash" I said. I wanted to go inside and get out of the cold.

"You made it great" He said as he pulled me in. Our lips met and I forgot about the cold for ten seconds.

As I released I blushed "Good night, Ash. Love you" I winked as I rushed inside.

"You too, Serena" He rushed back home aswell.

I told my Mom about the day and showed her the present.

It was 8pm so I decided to sleep. I wanted to wake up tomorrow and have another day with Ash.

Another brilliant day.
