Chapter 3 - School Bully (Ash)
Diary Entry 2
Well today was an eventful day. My first day and already pranks are being pulled on me. Perhaps this school isn't what I thought. I guess if I see them tomorrow, they may become my friends. There must have been about 10 of them, Cilan, Iris, Dawn and Serena. Hmm, I could do with knowing them all. Anyway my mom is at work right now so I have a lot of spare time. It is currently 6:30pm and I still haven't eaten. Heh, I eat ALOT usually so I am feeling different.

I paused at that moment in my diary, the pen hovering over the paper, waiting for me to begin writing once more. I couldn't think of what to write. Nothing interesting happened after that, it was just boring lessons and so much homework I think i might use it to make a paper machè eiffel tower for my art project. But, I did meet alot of people and they all seemed nice. I sat in silence for a moment, before my stomach began to interrupt me. Noticing my hunger I made the biggest sandwich I could fit into my mouth and sat in the kitchen eating it. My mom walked in at that moment, suspending her coat, scarf and hat onto the pegs by the door, before turning to me and smiling. Our house was a living room/kitchen combo, with a large upstairs. 3 bedrooms for 2 people.
"Did you have a good day at school Ash?" My mum asked, walking into the kitchen to see my plate on the side. She frowned at me, because I hadn't cleaned it but placed it in the water to clean it herself.
"It wasn't bad for a first day, high school is so big!" I remembered the prank and meeting some members of the group.
"I made some friends, I guess. They are all pretty nice" I smiled, although I don't think they would be thrilled by my compliment. I chuckled for a moment, which made my mum look at me, puzzled.
"I can tell by your face, Ash. Did someone prank you?" As soon as the last word left her mouth, I burst into so much laughter that the pacific ocean had nothing on the ocean I was creating. Tears of laughter escaped my eyes, but I recovered soon after and clumsily smiled at my mom who was waiting impatiently.
"I wouldn't say I got pranked" I laughed nervously, scratching my head. "I kind of turned the prank on the prankster. My mom looked worried for a moment, but I could see a smile inside her.
"You kids and your trouble." She had one of those 'Oh Ash' looks and I stared blankly into space for a moment.
"Anyway, I am going to my room for the rest of the night, see you early in the morning" I got up from my chair and walked up stairs, exchanging a good night with my mom before shutting my door. Day 2 was around the corner.
I woke up to the sound of my mom's car leaving the house. Work this early? I checked my clock before nearly jumping through the roof. 7:00am! I have 45 minutes to get ready and walk 2 miles. I rushed out of my bed and got changed. After brushing my teeth and skipping breakfast. I began to walk the opposite direction to the bus station. I probably would be on the bus if my mom gave me the money for it, but I guess walking keeps your mind clear and is some daily exercise. I put my hands in my pockets, for the cold breeze created a Chilling experience for my fingers. My footsteps brang repetitive crunching leaves a sound only familiar to the autumn season. I really reached school and pulled out my samsung galaxy S6. This is probably why I have no money. I chuckled to myself at the thought, before scanning my eyes over the time. 7:40am huh? Guess I made it. I walked into school and passed the cafteria, before I heard a voice.
"Well if it isn't Ash Ketchum" Gary stood by the corner of the small yard he was in, with all of his 'group' behind him, talking amongst themselves, some looking this way. He grinned at me, where we friends? "I am Gary, before you ask. We never exchanged names properly before the uh-" Gary scratched his head nervously, but I understood.
"Good morning Gary. So uh- how about that meeting the group thing now huh? We have five minutes before school starts" I stood awkwardly for a moment, before slowly walking over as Gary nodded. Gary seemed like the most popular in the group, he had that sort of confidence about him. He ran his hand through his messy brown hair, before turning to the to the others.
"Guys, meet Ash, Ash, meet the guys" Gary smiled his half-grin smile and I stood in silence for a moment. I could see Dawn, Iris, Cilan and Serena greeting me with smiles, as I looked at the other people.
"That is Misty" Gary said. I made a mental note of the name. She seemed intimidating to say the least. She had a yellow vest on with some jean shorts. She finished her look with white trainers and socks. She looked ready for summer but winter would be coming soon. She had hair that was ginger in color.
"This is May" I looked at May be with a greeting smiled. She had brown hair that was just about shoulder length, as it poked out of the red bandana she had on her head. She wore a red shirt and and a white top underneath, which neatly poked out at the bottom of the shirt. She had blue amd white gloves on and also blue shorts that stuck to her legs as they were tight. She had black socks to her ankles and orange shoes with a white buckle. She seemed friendly from first sight.
"This is Calem and Kenny" they both nodded at me with a certiain manly aspect about them. Calem seemed at least 16 but was only 14. Kenny was wearing a green jumper that was short sleeved and a darkee green t-shirt that was long sleeved and some khaki shorts. His ginger/brown hair flowed in the wind.
"Finally, Clemont and Bianca" I looked at Clemont, who had blonde hair with a little bit sticking up at the back. He wore circular shaped glasses and was always pushing them up. His outfit was a blue and yellow- erm, onesie? I couldn't tell but he looked like a mechanic. Bianca had the biggest smile on her face. She was the only blonde in the group and it gave her a unique character. To be fair they all looked completely different, it was like a mix and match group. The hair colours like a rainbow.
"It is nice to meet you all, so shouldn't we head to class?" I gestured to Dawn, Iris, Cilan and Serena as we had math first again. They all nodded and we waved goodbye to the others before heading off.
"I need to quickly go to my locker and get the homework out" Serena walked quickly into the locker area, before inserting her code and retrieving her book. Her locker was pink and had some unique pictures her favourite things. Serena twirled around to face us, a bright smile on her face. I swear for a moment I was hit by a stun grenade, because I just stared blankly at her. Cilan snapped his fingers infront of me, and I jumped up, laughing nervously.
"Okay lets-" I turned around, only to be cut off mid sentence as a mean looking senior shoved me onto the floor and barged through.
"Outta tha way, new kid!" He walked straight through us for no reason, before heading to his class, his group following in laughter. I got up and brushed my clothes down from the dust on the floor. I shrugged of his lack lustre attempt to scare me, or whatever he was doing.
"Erm, Ash" Serena scratched her head nervously as I turned. "That guy is the school bully. He is always up to no good and when he does that to someone, it usually means trouble." She looked kind of worried that I could be targeted by a senior bully.
I laughed at that moment, which caused Serena to frown. "I have nothing to worry about, why would a senior pick on me?" I kept that question as a sort of hope, I didn't want any trouble. I would have to use my MMA practice on them if the time came. Self defence must be an option in this case.
I guess the silence meant that they disagreed, after all they had been in this town longer than me. I forgot about the whole thing as we headed to math and sat in our seats. Math was boring as we learnt how to do currency exchange. I mean it was a useful lesson (for once) but I couldn't get my head around it so I spent the whole lesson sneaking looks at Cilan's work before writing it down myself. I got a 3/10 on my homework, which was one of my worst marks ever. Guess I need their hit the books before anymore homework. The next lesson was our gym lesson with a really muscular male teacher. He stood in an intidimating way, he looked like a soldier in the army.
"I am Mr. Penny, you have 5 minutes to get into your gear. Anyone not ready in 5 minutes will be doing 10 laps of the gym!" He blew his whistle and we headed into seperate changing rooms. Gym consisted of two classes and they was seperated into 4 changing rooms, two for males and two for females. Once we was changed I stood with Gary, Drew and Cilan.
"See any good looking chicks, guys?" Gary said, a smirk on his face. He looked so dumb I almost slapped his smirk off his face.
"I am not a person that simply takes a girl for her looks" Cilan had a hand over his heart, he almost looked as dumb as Gary, I could've slapped his romeo style character out of him. I laughed off the thoughts in my head.
"I think May is looking nice today" Drew gave us a dumb smile and I swear his cheeks were going red. He must like somebody.
"Tsk, I could pick any girl in this school and they would be mine, I mean look at me" Gary said this standing there as if to say 'look at me'. I stared for a moment. What would anyone see in him? An IQ lower than my shoe size that's for sure.
"What about you Ash?" Cilan asked this, weirdly enough. I shrugged and looked around a moment. No girl really caught my eye, there was a few that looked good but I didn't even no them, it would be awkward to point. There was May, Dawn, Iris and Serena at the other side of the hall. I had my thinking face on as I scanned the gym. The only person that kept popping in my mind was a girl with honey blonde hair. She looked even better in her gym outfit than her clothes and I couldn't get her out of my head. Who is it? I snapped out of my day dream and looked across the hall. The only girl I could recognize was... Serena.
