After a long hard month of regaining everyone's trust and proving himself as a friend, Ash had finally gotten back in everyone's good books and it seemed to him that the whole problem had been forgotten about. It was now the middle of march and everyone had passed their practice exams, a field trip being the reward, which was taking place in the spring semester. Today was the day for the trip and it was a day at the amusement park, Tower Park. A very popular destination for all children of all ages.

Ash stood in line with his friends, as the whole grade started to pile onto a large coach, which was scheduled to take them to their destination. The coach was like a train in that it had 4 seats around a table, with two seats opposite eachother. Ash sat opposite Serena, while Cilan was next to him and opposite to Dawn, who sat beside Serena. Cilan and Ash were like brothers now, they was the closest of friends. With Ash's determination and sport like build, he worked well with Cilan, who was the brains behind most things they did.

"This trip is going to be great, we should go on the biggest rollercoaster first!" Dawn said, an excited look in her eyes. She was the most hyper active person, she was always jumping at the most thrilling things first, much to Clemont's dismay. Gary suddenly popped up above Ash, kneeling on his own seat. He folded his arms over Ash's seat and laid his chin against his arms.

"For sure, we should all go on it!" Most of the group nodded, but Clemont, who sat opposite Gary, wasn't so sure.

"I am frightened of that rollercoaster" He said, looking worried. It was clear to everyone he didn't want to go on the ride.

Gary just let out a simple laugh "Tsk, don't be such a chicken, you're going on it, no matter what!" Drew and Kenny agreed, Clemont wasn't getting out of this.

The rest of the journey was long and tiresome, but they was soon at the amusement park. Everyone rushed of excitedly to go onto the different rides. Ash and the others went straight for the biggest rollercoaster. A big group of adults had just gotten off, which was perfect timing for the gang. Everyone entered a black pod. The pod started off by aiming up at the sky, so everyone became a little disorientated. after all, the ride was called 'CANNON'. The cannon moved down and a voice was heard through the P.A system.

"FIRE!" There was a cannon sound effect as the rollercoaster shot off down the track turning left and right, going over small hills at big speeds, until it reached a large slop that hit 200ft. Clemont had his eyes closed and was taking deep breaths in order to not lose his cool. As they reached the drop, everyone started to scream and yell out of excitement, joy and fear. Clemont sounded like he was dying, nothing could have been more of a scare to him. The ride eventually ended after a few loops and turns and then everyone got off.

"Woah" Clemont was recovering from the ride, but he was slightly surprised. "On the rollercoaster I felt horrified. But now that I have stepped off, I want to get back on"

"That's the thrill of the ride, Clemont" Gary said, as they continued on. Everyone seperated into small groups after that as they all wanted to go on different rides. Ash and Serena broke off from the group and used the trip as a little date. They climbed onto the Ferris Wheel by themselves.

As they reached the top, Ash put his arms round Serena's waist from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder, looking out of the window. The view felt like Misty's house, seeing something so beautiful.

"It sure is breathtakingly beautiful" Ash said, kissing Serena lightly on the cheek. "I also mean you, of course" She blushed slightly but said nothing, a smile forming on her face.

The Ferris Wheel stopped and they got off. Serena but her hand around Ash's and they made their way through the park, going on various rides and playing games. One game included a basketball net and three basketballs.

"I'll get you a nice big teddy bear, how about it?" Ash asked Serena, before placing some money on the counter.

"You don't have to do that and besides, you need 75 points in 1 minute. That's atleast 25 points in 20 seconds" Serena stood beside Ash and watched as he began the game. After 1 minute he had 63 points, enough to get a medium prize.

"You can pick the prize Serena. After all it is yours" Although it wasn't a big bear, like Ash had said, it was still a medium sized one. Ash had put a lot of effort in going for the 75 points, but he didn't have refined basketball skills. Drew might of been able to pull it off. Nevertheless, Serena didn't mind if it was even a small bear, or even nothing at it. For Serena, all she cared about was that Ash but everything into getting the present for her, so she would cherish it forever.
