(F/N), Akiko and Yuya went around the school, but because Yuya needed to go back to their class, he left the two.

The two went around the school, the two seemed natural, but everything ended when the two were on the gate

"I'm going to wait for Yuya." Akiko told (F/N)

"Is that so? Then-"

"I'll be fine by myself. If you will go home now, you can"

"But"

"Then I'll be honest" Akiko turned to (F/N) and smiled "it's fun, but I don't think I'll be your friend. That's what I feel for today"

(F/N) calmed herself, as she was saddened from what her bestfriend told her. But somehow (F/N) knew that Akiko would say it

"As expected from you" she chuckled and smiled, but tears ran down her cheeks "I'll do my best, to be your friend again. But for now, I'll retreat. I'll see you again, Akiko"

(F/N) bowed down towards her, and immediately left. She tried her best not to cry, but it was impossible. She was hurt hearing those words from her own bestfriend. And the first one she messaged about it was Akashi.

(F/N) stayed on her cousin's house, but her cousin was with his friends according to her auntie.

She stayed in their guest room, and just did nothing but stared at the white ceiling.

That next morning, she wasn't able to see her cousin since she needed to catch the train to Kyoto that early morning.

Everyone was messaging her, but she wasn't responding to any of them.

Making things worse, as she arrived in their house, her dad was there.

"When did you arrive home?" She asked her dad

"Yesterday, and you weren't here." Her dad answered, and she knew right away he was angry "I arrived here, and you weren't here. You didn't even tell them? We were worried of you. They kept on calling you"

"Dad, I am tired. I told auntie and Kinako that I am going to Tokyo. I texted you as well. They didn't call me since they knew I was in Tokyo" she explained and turned to her step mother and step sister "I was surprised, I thought you asked me to leave the house because you would be having a party again. To think that you did this. Oh well"

"We don't do parties here" Kinako responded with a scared voice "also, you didn't tell us you would be going to Tokyo. You just left-"

"Is that so? Here's the receipt of the list you asked me to buy for your party. Also, I am really tired and mentally exhausted. I have no time for this farce. Also dad, I texted you. If you even care about me, you should at least read my damn message, and call me yourself not ask these two. Or was my number blocked on your phone? Oh well. If you don't believe on me, ask Misako-san, mom's sister who lives in Tokyo. I stayed in her house." She sighed and her dad was about to retort when she showed a sad smile "I'm going to my room"

She immediately went to her room, and slammed the door. She just threw herself on her bed, and once again, did nothing but stare in emptiness.

~Monday~

"We only have three more weeks before our school festival, this week, next week, and the week followed. This year, we will be having them for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Same as last year, Friday and Saturday are only for your relatives and close friends. You will be given 5 tickets each, and you can give them to your family, or friends. For Sunday, it will be open to the public and we will be having the night fireworks display. As planned, you will only be given time to continue your preparation on the week of the school Festival. But of course, if your teachers told you that you have class, you'll follow them"

"Sensei, how about during Homeroom?"

"For homeroom, we'll do the usual this week. But starting next week, you can have the homeroom to prepare, since I have things to do as well. Any more questions?" Their homeroom teacher asked and when there was none "okay then, I'll start the attendance."

Their teacher called each students and when she called (F/N), there was a silent response

"She isn't here? Does anyone know where is she?" Everyone then turned to Akashi "Akashi-san?"

"She is sick." He answered, but in reality, he didn't know why. He tried messaging her, but there was no response.

But Akashi got it right.

Due to fatigue and stress, she got sick, and just stayed home. She didn't leave her room, and didn't let the people inside her house know that she is sick. She was used to it already, and knew what to do. She had her own medicine, and knew how to take care of herself. But even though she knew, it wasn't a remedy to make her feel better right away

She also forgot her phone at all. Since she just wanted to rest, she didn't touch her phone since she went home from Tokyo

That next day, even though she still have fever, she went to school with mask.

"You should stay home." Sae worriedly told (F/N), who smiled at her only with her eyes "where were you last weekend?"

"T-Tokyo" (F/N) answered in hoarse voice then coughed

"You were in Tokyo?!"

"Yeah"

"Go home" they flinched when Akashi suddenly talked behind her

"It's suffocating there" she responded "dad is there, so I couldn't go out my room to get water nor cooked any food"

"Then more-"

"He is angry at me. He arrived home and I wasn't there. The two told him that they didn't know where I went. But I told them, even texted him. I was really exhausted, so I talked back that time." She informed them with her hoarse voice

"Don't talk anymore. I feel bad for you talking with such hoarse voice." Sae told her

"I'm fine."

"Let's talked when you get better" Akashi told her and her eyes smiled at him, but she shrieked when Akashi suddenly pulled her up and then carried her like a princess. Most of their classmates got their phone out and took pictures of them, but they were confused to why

"A-Akashi?!"

"That's why, let's go to the hospital now. It will be bad if this stay for so long. You are part of the Menu team as well. You need to get better."

"But-"

"Put your hands over me. Hold tight. Umemiya, get her stuffs. I already booked a taxi, I'll bring her there." Akashi told her.

Because of embarrassment, (F/N) just wrapped her arms around Akashi's neck, and burried her face on his chest.

"This is so embarrassing!" She hissed in embarrassment, and with hoarse voice

"It's because of fatigue and stress. Make sure to rest, (L/N)-san. I'll give you prescription. Make sure to drink energy drink as well, but don't drink the medicine and energy drink at the same time. But for now, stay here, and finish that IV, since you are dehydrated as well." The doctor told (F/N) who was lying on the hospital bed with IV on her right arm. The doctor then turned to Akashi and smiled "good thing you brought her here."

"She doesn't listen if you don't force her" Akashi sighed

"Well then. Here, drink this, and don't talk for an hour. But make sure to drink every 10 minutes. It's a mint medicine, that can help your sore throat. But make sure not to speak for an hour. You can cough, but don't talk" the doctor repeated, and also told Akashi to look after her

Once the doctor left, (F/N) got her phone out and showed the screen to Akashi

"I can take care of myself. You can go back to school"

Akashi sighed then sat down next to her bed "I'll stay. I'll look after you. Don't worry. Rest"

"You really became the gentleman everyone wished for. The girl you like is really lucky"

Akashi sighed and covered her eyes "I'll stay here. Don't worry about me. I don't care skipping a day. I am doing it on my own. You need to drink every 10 minutes. So what should we do?"

"What happened yesterday?"

"What do you mean? It was just the usual day yesterday. I should ask you, what happened last Saturday. But I can wait"

Akashi responded then noticed (F/N) typing fast. But he let her drink first, then waited for her to finish typing.

"I went to Yuya's school, and Akiko was there. At first, we were having fun. We ate lunch together, we went around the school together, we laughed, we talked, pictures were taken. She told me it was fun, but also told me straight in the eyes, that she felt it, that I won't be her friend. I told her I would do my best, but I don't know how"

She made a sad smile towards Akashi and sighed.

"I expected it though, Akiko would say it. It wasn't like that when we first met, but she was really straightforward to what she always say."

"What did she tell you? When she decided to become your friend?"

(F/N) chuckled and she again typed on her phone

"She said that I was too plain by myself, she told me, be my friend and we will make you stand out. She mentioned that she likes my scent that she was caught because of it. She also said that I was like my scent. Even until now, I don't get what she meant"

"Yeah, you have a troublesome scent."

"I don't get it"

"You don't need to. Anyways, you don't know what to do? Why don't you invite her and that Kiryu guy to our school festival"

(F/N) immediately messaged Kiryuu and told him the dates of their school festival, and how it works. She thought she won't receive a reply soon, but she received it immediately

"I want to! But unfortunately, I have competition on those dates. Ah but, send those two tickets over. I'll send Akiko along with anyone around here. Don't worry, she will go there. And make sure to let her meet Shouta and Ririka. Also, don't worry, I already got mad at Akiko for what she told you. I am sorry to what happened, and also please forgive her since she can't remember you."

"So he isn't coming. But well, at least he will send her over. Let's send the tickets to him" Akashi responded then let her drink again "show me a picture of her, so if she shows herself, I know that she is the Finn Akiko you kept on mentioning"

(F/N) showed the same picture she showed to Akiko, their picture during middle school.

Akashi got her phone and without her knowing, he also looked at other pictures, and sent the picture to his phone, but not just that one picture, but some selfie pictures of (F/N), and the owner of the phone had zero knowledge about it.

"I'll look out for this person. In any case, rest your eyes now. I'll let you drink water on time."

"Akashi... Thank you."

"No problem."

Akashi let her drink on time, and after an hour, she fall asleep. Akashi then remembered what she said about her family. He sighed then turned to her, who was sleeping so peacefully

"What a really troublesome scent. If you are combined to others, you become a different person, and for some reason, your scent would change too. But I'll change your scent, I'll dye you with mine."

After three hours, (F/N) woke up, and her health became better.

Akashi sent her home, but they stopped by to buy energy drink and the medicines prescribed by the doctor. Akashi also told her to don't go to school the next day.

She entered their house and her dad was there, along with her step mother

"It's not yet time to go home. Why are you here? You didn't go to school?!" Her dad asked

"I am really surprised." She smirked and removed her mask "you really have no care on your own daughter. You didn't even notice that your own blood related daughter is sick. I was asked to go home and rest. As I said last time, I have no time for this farce. I need to rest, so I can go to school. If possible, I hate staying in this suffocating house" she responded and put her mask back. Her dad tried to say something again, but she didn't wait for him to say it and just left.

She locked her room and rest.

~Thursday~

"I am back!" (F/N) made a peace sign towards Sae, and even with Arai and her members for the menu team "but I might spread the virus, so bear with me wearing mask."

"Welcome back! You made us worried!" Arai patted her head "we already made a progress for other clothes. I need to get your size, and I will personally make your dress."

"Yeah, thank you, Arai. I'll look forward to it."

"I'll get your size during lunch."

"Ah, also, we will show you our new cake design, and we don't know if possible flavors." Her groupmates told her.

They started telling her all of their ideas, and Akashi was just watching from his seat.

And once again, they became busier. Akashi and (F/N) didn't have time to talk to each other, not even message to each other.

They became busier and finally their school festival arrived.

(F/N) didn't bother to invite her family, but sent four tickets to Yuya as per his request, and informed (F/N) that Akiko would go on Saturday.

Since it was a private School Festival, there were not much of people, especially on Friday. The menu during Friday wasn't that much, and they didn't let (F/N) wear her empress dress, but she wore the same as others.

But that Saturday,

"Empress, you really are beautiful!" Arai complimented her, admiring her own design, added by (F/N)'s beautiful face "this design is a collaboration of ancient and modern Japanese kimono style, with red and white colored patterned.

"It will be top-notch if she's with her emperor"

"But isn't this too flashy?" (F/N) asked with her face so red

"Now we can sell our cafe to other visitors, not just our relatives and friends." Sae told them and they all agreed

"Empress, your emperor will be here soon to get you"

As Arai said it, Akashi arrived with his red sokutai, and everyone was mesmerized by his appearance.

"That looks good on you" he commented then extended his hand "let's go, commoners are already here. I need to escort you to our kingdom"

"You really can say such words" (F/N) sighed but still got his hand, and they headed back to their classroom. Leaving their classmates with their phones out, taking pictures of them

"So you sent four tickets? Means there will be 4 people going here?"

"Who knows? But she will be here for sure, Yuya confirmed it."

"I would love to see the reaction of your two friends if they see her"

"Me too."

"Well anyways, let's have fun today. Make sure to make time, and let's go around together."

(F/N) chuckled and nodded, "yeah, let's go"

And when they entered their class, even though some of them didn't like (F/N), they couldn't help it but be mesmerized by their appearance.

~at the same time~

"Ririka-chan, you look good with that dress. You need to brag it to your boyfriend later" her new friend complimented her in which Ririka agreed to her. They were on their way back to their class, and Ririka was still trying to compete with (F/N), and she chose her own design made by Arai.

As they were walking back to their class, her eyes widened as two guys and one girl were walking in front of them and she knew well who the girl was

Ririka knew that Akiko was in coma, but she didn't know that she has amnesia.

"You are back? Akiko?!" She gritted her teeth and Akiko heard her, resulting for her to turn around

"Do I know you? Who are you?" Akiko asked Ririko in displeasing voice

"Kiryu told you to be mindful with your words" the guy on his left pushed his eyeglass then sighed "remember that we aren't in our school"

"Shin-chan, it's okay. Akiko-chan's character is like this. Yuu-chan told us to just warn Akiko-chan if she is talking like this to (F/N)-chan"

"Ahh, just shut up you two. I really don't mind being a bitch to others. And Kazunari, don't you dare say anything to that girl!" Akiko hissed then turned to Ririka again "then, you know me? But well, it doesn't matter. I don't know you." She turned to Midorima again and hissed "now, where is that 2-A again?"

"Why are you getting mad at her?"

"I don't know. I don't feel like talking to her" Akiko responded and they continued their way to 2-A, leaving Ririka in confusion and grimace

"Ririka-chan, do you know that person?"

"Why is she here?! Why is she here?! Why is she here?! That (F/N) plotted this for sure! Shouta must not see her!"

At the same time, (F/N) was busy helping at the kitchen, and Akashi was helping taking orders.

As the door of their class opened, they all greeted the visitors who arrived, who happened to be Midorima, Takao and Akiko.

"Ahre?! It's Akashi!" Takao laughed in loud voice pointing at him,

Akashi wasn't expecting to see his former teammate along with (F/N)'s childhood bestfriend

"Welcome to our kingdom. I am the emperor here, so all of my orders are absolute" he greeted them but his gaze was on Akiko "seat on the corner" he pointed at the empty table next to the window and Akashi personally served them, no, rather than served, he ordered for them,

"Why do a cafe, then not asking for our orders?" Midorima asked Akashi but he received a smirked from him "I don't know if you are on your role or what, but it suits you, the role of emperor"

"These cakes are made by my empress, of course, I need to let you taste it. Be thankful. Ah, I should introduce my empress." Akashi then turned to one of their classmates and ordered them "call my empress, she needs to meet the commoners"

"Ouch, hearing from him, I really felt like a commoner" Akiko commented then noticed Ririka who entered the class "so she is with this class"

(F/N) came out from the kitchen and every customers, even Midorima, Takao and Akiko were amazed, and mesmerized by her appearance.

"Akiko!" (F/N) raised her voice but shut it immediately as she was reminded by her role. But because of that, Sae came out from the kitchen and was also surprised seeing Akiko

"Eh, who?" Their other friends asked since they could see how excited (F/N) was

Sae turned to Ririka, who was standing on the side, and smirked at her "(F/N)'s bestfriend. Should you call your boyfriend? It will be a grand reunion"

Sae again turned to Akiko and (F/N), and just saw the two talking along with Akashi and Akiko's two other friends. But she noticed it, and was confused

"Why Akiko isn't taking pictures of (F/N)? Nor why she isn't seemed excited?"
