"No one knew. They just came out when someone took pictures of them on the train station. It was proven 2 weeks ago"

"Why her?!"

(F/N) sighed as she slump her face on her table. She looked so tired. It's been two weeks since then, and it was still the hot topic. She looked plain by herself, but okay if she's with Sae, and looks good if she's with Akashi.

She couldn't get what they meant, if it's her appearance or what. But she hated it, that she's the center of attention.

Though, Akashi told her to get used to it. Also, she became one of the center of attention since

"Congratulations (F/N). You rank 2nd" Sae sat down in front of her and made a big wide smile

"Akashi wanted to see a reasonable result since he taught me."

"Well, from the start you are smart anyways. You just don't want to be the center of attention." Sae retorted "but you did your best and got an expected result, from rank 60 in our grade to rank 2nd"

"I hate being the center of attention" she sighed

"Well anyways what happened, happened already. We will be having our school festival. I wonder what are we going this year."

"Ah, I heard we will be doing a cafe this year, and we will talk about what theme" (F/N) informed her

"Eh? Akashi-sama told you?"

"Reo-nee" she answered then felt her phone vibrated. She got her phone and sighed seeing the message she received

"What's wrong?"

She showed the message and again sighed "from Kinako, asking me lots of stuffs to buy again. I don't know what she is planning again, but I think there's a party again this weekend"

"You'll be evicted from your own house again. Stay in my place- ah"

"Hmmm?" (F/N) tilted her head as she put her phone back to her pocket

"No, I remember that this weekend, all sports club will be leaving for our two days 1 night practice. Next weekend, we will be having practice games here"

"It's okay. Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself." She chuckled and patted Sae's shoulder "good luck and have fun."

"Will you be okay? Akashi-sama will not be here too-"

"There are lots of cheap hotel where I can stay. Ah, don't tell Akashi, okay?"

"About?" (F/N) flinched as Akashi talked behind her "about?" He again asked

"That I already know what we will be doing for the school festival" (F/N) immediately responded "are we going to talk about the theme today?"

"Yeah" he responded but stare at (F/N), who stare back at him

"Hmmm?"

"Why do I feel like you are hiding something?" He asked but she smiled

"If I do, you'll know, right?" She responded back and again felt her phone vibrating non-stop. She knew that someone was calling but she ignored it "then? We'll talk about the theme?"

Akashi sighed in defeat and nodded "yeah, during homeroom."

"(F/N), what theme are you going to suggest?"

"I don't know. But this year is really different from last year"

"You are right." Sae agreed and glimpsed at Ririka, who was with her new friends that turned out their classmates who got mad at (F/N) for not letting her homework to be copied "well, don't mind them. At least this year, you and Akashi-sama will go around together"

"We will not" (F/N) immediately responded that even Akashi was surprised from her response "Akashi is the student council's president, he will be busy, right?"

"I'll make time for you, so don't worry. We can go around together" he patted her head, resulting for her face turned really red.

"You two really are so cute. Power couple" Sae giggled and it was then the bell for their next class rang

~homeroom~

"So the themes we have here are Maid cafe, cross dress, cosplay, zoo, aquarium, any more suggestion?" Akashi asked as he stood along with their class' vice president, Hirada Shiina

"Me!" One of their classmates at the back raised her hand "how about royalty?"

"Royalty?" Akashi asked "Arai-san, can you explain what you meant?"

"Well, everyone will be like princes or princesses, or like kings and queens, but of course, Akashi-sama is the emperor and your girlfriend (L/N) is the empress" she explained then excitedly showed her design "sorry, I designed some clothes, and it would be great if we make it, and you will wear it"

"Can you even make it? Do we have materials? Or maybe you just want your design to be made?" Ririka asked in annoyance since she didn't like the idea of (F/N) being the empress

"But the idea is good" one of their classmates retorted "why don't we do that? Akashi-sama's kingdom?" She chuckled "Of course, Akashi-sama is the emperor and (L/N) is the empress, the others could be the knights? Right? Or like being a royalty. Then we can design our cafe like a kingdom? It will be different and very unique, don't you think so?"

Most of their classmates agreed on the suggestion, except for Ririka and her new friends, as well with (F/N).

"Uhm? We can just do Akashi as the emperor. It's fine if we don't have empress" (F/N) objected but

"Since you two are going out, the emperor needs his empress." Their classmates told her

"Well then, it's decided. We only have one more month, and our teachers will give us time to prepare a week before the school festival. We need to do the costumes and cafe design on our own time. Now that the theme has been decided, let's talk about the menu, and who will work on the costumes, cafe designs, and the menu"

(F/N) sighed in defeat as the theme for the class' cafe has been decided. She then again felt her phone vibrated. She got her phone out and saw lots of missed calls from Yuya and a message that made her whole body froze.

She gripped her phone tightly, trying to calm herself. She put her phone back to her pocket, and stared blankly. She wanted to concentrate to their discussion, but because of the message she received, her concentration was somewhere else.

She didn't even complain when she was put as the leader of their menu team. Akashi put her there since he knew how delicious her dishes are, plus she's in the cooking club.

"Well then, we already put the people in-charge with the clothes, menu, and designs. For the rest of the time, you can talk with your members. One last warning, I know there's a tension in our class. I appreciate if you would set that aside and work together. If there's a sabotaging or any improper act until or during the school festival, you'll know what happened" Akashi warned them and they knew well that he would punish them if something like that happened.

The others broke the silence as they started talking to their members, and the people who wanted to talk to (F/N) halted as Akashi sat in front of (F/N)

"What's wrong?" He asked resulting for her to flinch in surprise

"Eh?"

"You weren't listening at all after checking your phone. What's wrong?"

"Sorry about that. I received an unexpected message. Uhm, next satu-"

"Akashi-san, about next Saturday's practice- ah, sorry, you are talking to your girlfriend" one of their classmates who was also part of the basketball team, approached Akashi

"It's okay, you can talk to him" (F/N) told him "we can talk after"

"O-okay. Uhm, Akashi-san, coach actually asked to send the details of the practice game. He wanted to confirm the schools that will be here."

"Ah, yeah,  I'll message him later."

Their classmate left the two and again Akashi looked at her

"Then? What's with next Saturday?"

"Nothing, I actually wanted to ask you if you are free, but it's okay. I think I can go there on my own"

"Where do you want to go?"

"I'll inform you by then. So don't worry, I'll be okay. Anyways, I'll talk to the members of the menu team, we need to talk about the menu we are going to make." She stood up and looked at the members. She approached them, leaving the curious Akashi

They became busy preparing for their School festival, Akashi and (F/N) also didn't have time to be together during lunch because they were busy with their own group. (F/N) became close to her other classmates, as they were talking about what they would be making.

Akashi on the other hand, he was busy because of Student council works, as well as with basketball club.

That weekend, (F/N) was again asked to leave their house, so she stayed in a nearby hotel.

And that next weekend, she was again asked to leave their house, but this time, she went to Tokyo.

"I should have called Yuya before hand. There are lots of people here. I don't know where to go."

"I don't know, Yuya said he would be meeting me here. What class is he? 2-A?"

(F/N) turned to that voice and her eyes widened seeing the familiar face of her childhood bestfriend

"Akiko..."

The girl named Akiko, who has a light brown eyes, and shoulder light brown hair, turned to (F/N) and confusedly looked at her.

"I'll call you later" Akiko approached her, analyzing her features "I saw you in America before. They mentioned that you know me. Are you Yuya's classmate?"

(F/N) tried to calm herself, since she was excited and the same time, she was hurt. She shook her head and smiled, and remembered Yuya's message

"It will be our school Festival next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Akiko will be here by Saturday. I am inviting you, so go here. Also, she will be transferring here in Shutoku. Let me know if you will go."

"No, I am from different school. Yuya invited me to their school festival. I am (L/N) (F/N). Were you invited too Finn Akiko?"

"You really know me. Yeah, since I will be transferring to this school by next week. Are you by yourself?"

"Yes, I came here by myself."

"Well then, let's go and find Yuya. He is in 2-A. We should ask someone from here."

"If 2-A, I think we can ask that guy who has a huge placard" (F/N) pointed at a guy who has long, straight black hair, a guy who has his hair kept stroked backward, with few strands of hair falling down to his eyes

Akiko approached him and they were greeted with a big wide smile

"Welcome, please visit our 2-A cafe!"

"Can you please lead us there? We are looking for Kiryu Yuya" Akiko told him

"Oh! Yuu-chan's friends?! Sure! I'll lead you there. I am Takao Kazunari, so you are Yuu-chan's friends" he excitedly responded as he led the way

"I am his cousin, oh and I will be transferring to this school next week. I am Finn Akiko" Akiko introduced herself that made Takao excited

"Eh?! That's great! Welcome to Shutoku!"

(F/N) kept silent as she just watched the two talked. She remembered Takao's name since Yuya mentioned him before.

"And, may I know your name as well?" Takao turned to her and she smiled

"Ah, (L/N) (F/N). I am Yuya's childhood friend."

"You are that (F/N)-chan?!"

"You know me?"

"There was one time when he went to Kyoto, when he returned here, he was so down, he was mumbling (F/N) got a boyfriend, (F/N) got a boyfriend, multiple times that Shin-chan was really annoyed of him"

"Ah... hahahaha... I knew it." (F/N) chuckled then caught noticed that Akiko was staring at her "uhm...?"

"Hmmm, so Yuya likes you? Why?"

"Well, (F/N)-chan is cute. Ah, but Akiko-chan as well"

"I wonder why as well. I'm just an ordinary person though" (F/N) answered then felt her phone vibrated and she was surprised that it was from Akashi asking where is she,

Akashi: where are you? I heard from your friend that you were asked to leave your house last weekend and this weekend again. Where are you?

I am in Tokyo right now.

"(F/N)!" Yuya excitedly approached them and hugged (F/N) in excitement "I am glad you accepted my invitation!" He then turned to Akiko and grinned "you too."

"Thanks for the warm greetings" Akiko responded back

"Yuu-chan, why don't you lead these two ladies to their seats?" Takao asked him and he got (F/N)'s hand and lead the two of them to an empty table

"Here's the menu. For starter, what drinks can I get for you two?"

"I'll have water with no ice for now" (F/N) answered

"Same" Akiko followed as she flipped the menu list

"I understand. I'll bring your water then get your order"

As Yuya left, (F/N) also checked their menu. It was a complete silent between the two until Yuya returned and got their orders.

While waiting, Akiko was looking outside, resting her chin on her palm

"Honestly, this is so awkward" Akiko turned her gaze to (F/N), who was staring at her "your gaze is making the ambiance awkward"

"I apologize about that. I am just happy that you are back."

"Do I really know you? Unlike Yuya, I couldn't feel anything while talking to you." Akiko honestly looked at her "am I really your friend? Or did you get a different person?"

"I know my bestfriend, and I am 100% sure that she is the one sitting across me, though she has an amnesia." (F/N) responded and handed an envelope

"What's this?"

"A picture of my bestfriend and me. I would like to see that smile again, and I am willing to wait"

Akiko got the picture inside and it was really a picture of (F/N) and Akiko when they were in their 1st year of middle school.

"It's really me" Akiko sighed "but I really can't remember you, nor feel any special towards you"

"It's okay. I won't force you to remember"

"That's surprising. If you are my friend, you should tell me to remember you. Did you do anything that you don't want me to remember?" Akiko asked her with intimidating voice

"Of course, I want you to remember me, of course I did lots that I want you to forget, however those are our memories. But then, even if my bestfriend forget all of it, I will do my best and be her friend again and we will create new memories." (F/N) smiled to Akiko, who gazed away in embarrassment "since you can't remember me, I hope we get along Akiko"

With that, a green haired guy with eyeglass and tapings on his hand arrived with their order

"Here are your orders. Enjoy" he put down their orders and immediately left

"I think I won't do that during our School festival" (F/N) chuckled

"Where is your school by the way?"

"I study in Rakuzan, it's in Kyoto"

"That's far! You came all the way here to attend their school festival?!" Akiko asked in disbelief as she started eating the dish she ordered

"Yeah, Yuya told me that my bestfriend will be here, so of course, I'll come here"

"You really are sure a smooth talker"

"I am actually not. Akiko was the one who always saved me because of her straightforward personality, and she is the smooth talker. But because she can't remember me, time to time, I got her personality"

"My curiosity of you is increasing."

"Well, as I said, let's get along from now on. Let's eat first. We should ask Yuya to tour us around after"

They silently eat the dish they ordered, though while eating, it became noisy when couple of people with purple, pink, and dark blue haired came in and called the green haired guy who gave their orders

But they didn't mind them when Yuya approached them

"After eating, let's go around. Oh yeah, (F/N), are you going back to Kyoto today?"

"No, I will stay in my cousin's house. I messaged auntie, and she said okay."

"Did your dad know?"

"I messaged him. Anyways, we'll go around your school today, please suggest a good class booth."

"Am I the third wheel before?" Akiko  curiously asked

"No, I was the third wheel. You hated me before if I was with you." Yuya corrected her "Well, there are others, but well, don't mind them"

"Don't mind the other two, but Sae is different"

"I don't get it" Akiko sighed and shook her head "anyways, we should go"

"Kiryu, are you going on your break?" The green haired guy approached him

"Yeah, ah, I introduce you to them. This is my cousin Finn Akiko, then our childhood friend (L/N) (F/N). This guy here is Midorima Shintarou."

"Nice to meet you" Akiko and (F/N) responded at the same time

"It also reminds me, Shintarou, you came from Teiko?!"

"Yeah, you didn't know."

"I remembered that you went there along with Akashi Seijurou"

"Why do you know Akashi?" Midorima curiously asked

"(F/N) is Akashi's-" Yuya stopped as he felt scared all of a sudden, remembering Akashi's voice and words

"Akashi's?"

"Classmate. She is from Rakuzan"

"Hmmmm"

"So you are from Teiko as well. Ah then-" but before she finished what he wanted to say, they were interrupted when a glass fall on the floor.

Midorima sighed as he excused himself and approached the table that accidentally broke the glass.

"Anyways, I'll go change. After eating, you can wait me outside." Yuya left the two, and since (F/N) was done eating, she got her phone out and replied to Akashi while waiting for Akiko to finish hers

Akashi: was it the one you one wanted to tell me before? I apologize that I wasn't able to accompany you. Take care, and see you on Monday. Let's have a lunch together on our usual room.

Yes. I'd like to invite you here, since I don't think I could handle it, but since you are busy, I wasn't able to ask. But It's okay now, everything is okay
Also, Akashi, you are so kind. Don't mind it. I'll see you on Monday. I'll prepare lunch for you.

"Your face is red. Your boyfriend?" Akiko asked as she finished her drink

"Ah, no" she chuckled and stared at her phone "he is not. We are just pretending" she thought then smiled back to Akiko "a classmate. She is asking about one of the menus for our school Festival"

"You are bad at lying, huh?"

(F/N) laughter and nodded at her "not quite. I'm actually good at lying. I will tell you some other time. But for now, let's go?"

The two left the room and waited for Yuya outside the room.

~Akashi~

"Sei-chan, you sure are in bad mood. Is it because group 3 is losing?" Mibuchi asked curiously, since Akashi was emitting a dark aura

"You can say it like that. Knowing that I am here watching a losing team, instead of being with her, it irritates me. Mibuchi, Hayama, you'll go in. Make sure to win, since right now, I don't accept anything aside from a winning result."

"Y-yeah. I understand" the two nervously responded since Akashi's eyes were glinting in anger

"Somehow, this aura, why do we I feel nostalgic. It brings back when he was in first year" Hayama chuckled and the other two agreed

"I wonder if something happened with (F/N)-chan?" Mibuchi whispered and they looked at him, who was staring at his phone

"Did they break-up?" As Hayama asked it, Akashi looked at them with sharp eyes "you didn't, right?!" He anxiously asked

"Just win all the game today" he ordered in mild, but very intimidating voice

Akashi again turned to his phone and red the last message she receive from (F/N), the messaged he received 3 hours ago, during lunch

Can you tell me at least why you are in Tokyo?

(F/N): Akiko is sitting in front of me. My bestfriend, really forgets about me. But I am thankful Akashi, I remember your words, and somehow, I am still calm. But actually, I really want to cry now. So on Monday, I will apologize in advance, I will cry.

Akashi was staring at his phone and suddenly a message again arrived

(F/N): I was told by my bestfriend, that it's impossible for us to be friends. Hahaha... I can't laugh at that... Akashi, if you are in my position, what are you going to do?
