"Make sure to go there 10 minutes after lunch."

That morning, Akeshi received that message. He knew what day it was, he also planned things, but she beat her into it.

~lunch~

Akashi went to see their coach first, then checked the time and immediately headed to the empty building. Before opening the door, he could smell sweet vanilla scent.

He opened the door and saw (f/n) nowhere, and just an empty room.

"(F/N)?" He called as he entered the room, but was surprised when she appeared behind him, and the sweet vanilla scent was from her, and she was holding a small strawberry cake on her hand

"Happy 1 year" she greeted in low sweet voice "not the day we first dated, but the first time we talked in the library. Tomorrow, it will be our first year here in this room. But I wanted to celebrate it, because if you didn't talk to me that day, I won't be here." She looked at Akashi and smile "Thank you very much, Seijurou."

He chuckled and got the cake from her "it should be me who should thank you. For the meantime, let's sit down."

Akashi sat first as (F/N) went to the side and got a basket that has their lunch.

"I somehow prepared too much" she chuckled as she got them out in front of him

"You did, but don't worry. We don't have next class anyways, so we have time to finish all"

"Eh? Sensei isn't here?"

"Yeah, they told me when I went to see coach."

"That's nice then!" (F/N) sat next to him and presented the dishes she cooked "I hope you will like them"

"Of course, you made them. Let's enjoy these dishes"

They started eating their lunch and they reminisced what happened in a year, in which (F/N) couldn't believe that only one year had passed but lots of things already happened. She didn't expect that they would pretend going out, but then it came true. She didn't expect that Akashi was able to help her end all her problems concerning her father, step-mother, step-sister, and even her former friend.

"Lots of things happened, and more to go. And it's only one year" she chuckled then turned to Akashi "again, Thank you Seijurou"

Akashi moved closer to her and smiled as he held her hands "there will be more problems in the future, but we will overcome it. It's just one year when we started talking, and we haven't gone out for a year too, but I know for sure my feelings won't change, but it will grow more. I love you, (F/N)"

His sweet words were sincere and she could feel that it was genuine, resulting for her tears to fall down her cheeks.

"Me too! I really love you!"

Akashi chuckled and wiped the tears running down her cheeks, and not long after, he gently pulled her for a sweet kiss.

~Time Skip~

"Huh? You haven't given to her? Why? You are living here together for 4 years already. She will be graduating soon. You will be done with your masters too. What are you waiting for?"

"Wow, Midorimacchi is getting agitated" Kise chuckled then have a sipped of his wine

"It's because Akashi-kun was the first one who got a girlfriend, and even announced their engagement, but Midorima-kun gave the ring first to his girlfriend" Kuroko explained and sighed as he turned to Akashi "but, I am also wondering why."

The members of generation of miracles looked at Akashi, who was sitting with his legs crossed, with a glass wine on his hand. They were in Akashi and (F/N)'s condominium. After high school, instead of living in Akashi's apartment mansion, they stayed in Akashi's new property, which was a 15-storey condominium. It was 30 minutes drive to Akashi's university, and 20 minutes drive to (F/N)'s. Midorima and Akiko also stayed in the same building, but they were staying on the 10th floor, while Akashi and (F/N) was on the top floor. Sae decided to study in Tokyo as well, but she decided to stay in the university dorm.

And after graduating high school, four years had passed, and it's already the last month of autumn. (F/N) had already graduated since she was able to finish her culinary degree just in three years. Akashi wanted her to work as the head chef in one of his restaurants, but (F/N) refused and decided to work on different restaurant first and get more experience. She was working at the luxurious European restaurant where she had her internship.

As what Midorima and the others wondered, Akashi gave the ring of his mother to her, but the ring he bought himself for her, he hadn't given it. He bought it 3 years ago.

"Then?" Midorima again asked since Akashi wasn't saying anything. It's been one year since the six of them gathered, and they decided to drink in Akashi's place

"I am thinking" Akashi responded and they tilted their head in confusion what he meant "I am thinking of a perfect timing. I am busy with school, and work too. (F/N) too"

"Speaking of, where's (F/N)-chin?" Murasakibara curiously asked

"In Kyoto"

"And you stayed here?!" Kise and Aomine asked at the same time

"She went there because of work. She also visited her family, and her father too. After that, she will be in Nagoya" Akashi sighed.

(F/N)'s father totally forgot everything except his first wife, and that he has a daughter, but couldn't remember that it was (F/N). She still wanted her father to remember her.

"In any case, at least give it to her already. We know you gave your mother's ring, but how about the ring you bought and even had it customized? What if it won't fit her?" Midorima sighed as he pushed his eyeglass

"Mido-chin is already drunk" Murasakibara sighed on the side

Akashi smirked as he got a sip of his wine "don't worry, I know if it would fit or not."

"But you two already did it, right?" Aomine excitedly asked

"No, (F/N) wanted to do it when we get married" Akashi responded and they looked at him in disbelief "what?!" He annoyingly asked them

"The great Akashi Seijurou was able to hold back his desire? It's unbelievable" Aomine sighed and shook his head

"And here I really thought that when they started living together, they would do it almost everyday. Akashicchi, were you able to hold back? That's unbelievable"

"Isn't it bad to comply on her decision?" Akashi asked them but Midorima retorted

"Then why didn't you marry her? It's easy for you to do that. You should have given the ring, then get married"

"All of you, you really are annoying."

"It's because it's unbelievable that Aka-chin was able to hold back all these years, it will be your 5th anniversary soon. Even Mido-chin did it already with his girlfriend, Kise-chin did it with his past girlfriends, and even Mine-chin did it with his girlfriend, who is currently pregnant. Is it okay to leave Satchin?" Murasakibara chewed his maiobu then turned to Kuroko, but Aomine just sigh "to think that Satchin would end up with Mine-chin. I thought she would end up with Kuro-chin. Oh well, I don't know about Kuro-chin, but I don't have one at the moment"

"I am still a gentleman, who comply on what (F/N) wants" as Akashi said that, there was a minute of silence and somehow they didn't believe in what he said "but I didn't say that I haven't had impure thoughts towards her. I still can think about it"

"This is so new and so pure." Midorima sighed

"In any case, I was the first one to get a girlfriend, but it proves that I am the genuine gentleman among us" he teasingly told them then turned to Kuroko "right, Kuroko?"

"Eh, what about Kurokocchi?" They all turned to him and he blinked fast

"I am getting married on January, my girlfriend is pregnant and her family wanted her to get married before she gives birth, we are thinking about her health too." He informed them, and again silence engulfed them

"That's the reason why I asked everyone to gather today." Akashi chuckled, making the others finally realized what he said. They congratulated Kuroko but bombarded him with questions because it was too sudden, and they didn't know who it was.

"She was my classmate from University, and my co-worker at the day care" Kuroko told them and didn't tell any further details, but told them that she would introduce her to them on later date.

Akashi sighed as he watched his friends showering Kuroko with questions, and him being annoyed from it.

It was then his phone rang and it was a call from (F/N). He immediately excused himself and went to veranda to answer the call

"Ah, Seijurou? Sorry for interrupting"

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. What is it?"

"It seems work will be longer in Nagoya, so I might return in two weeks. Sorry, I won't be able to be there on our Anniversary. I know you already have an off on that day-"

"(F/N), it's fine. It can't be helped. We can celebrate it when you return. Don't worry about it and focus on your work there."

"Thank you, Seijurou!" As she was about to say more, he heard someone calling her "I need to go. I'll call you again tomorrow."

The call ended and Akashi sighed as he turned his gaze outside. He wanted to give the ring, and go further to their relationship, but he comply to her requests, and their busy with their profession. He turned around and saw his friends, still trying to get information from Kuroko.

Days had passed and Akashi focused himself with school and work. He was used to it, for not seeing (F/N) because of work, since he sometimes go to out of country because of business trips, but then, he would be away for a maximum of three days, since it was just around Asia.

"But this is frustrating still. Tomorrow is our Anniversary." he mumbled as he grabbed his bag and decided to go home

"Akashi-kun!" Five girls and three boys approached him and the girls couldn't helped but giggled. They were from the same class, and the guys often asked Akashi to hang out with them in which he would sometimes say yes. Usually girls didn't want to join, but this time they tried to get close to him.

"Since we have early off today, let's go and play bowling"

"I want to go home and rest" Akashi responded immediately

"Then, let's watch movie in Akashi-kun's place!" One of the girls suggested "everyone here hasn't been to your place after all"

"Because I don't want to"

"Oh come on." The girls giggled, and in the end, since he was tired, he decided to let them go to his place.

Everyone had their eyes widened, standing in front of the condominium. They followed him inside, and the frond desk lady greeted him. They all got in the elevator, and still they were awestruck when Akashi pushed the button of the highest level.

He led them but stopped before he opened the door

"(F/N)?" He mumbled and immediately entered, but saw no one in the living room.

"Akashi-kun, what's wrong?" His classmates curiously asked him. He shook his head and put his bag on his room. His classmates immediately conquered his living room, and they ordered food and alcohol as well.

While waiting, the girls approached the pictures displayed under the TV.

"Who is this woman?" The girls asked, even though they knew that it's his girlfriend

"My fiancè"

"Oh, you aren't married yet"

"Soon" he responded then sat down on his kitchen counter and tried to call (f/n), but she wasn't answering.

Since Akashi had a tight lip towards his classmates, he didn't tell them about his personal business. Also, after the issue with the media outlets and Shiroyama Takeru, all pictures of (f/n) that circulated online were deleted. They knew her by name, but they didn't know what she looks like

Two hours had passed and they were enjoying watching videos on Akashi's huge TV. They were making ruckus, laughing so loud, talking so loud. Akashi was just on the side couch, drinking iced tea

"Akashi-kun, you live with your fiancè? Or is she coming here time to time?" Two girls, who just came back from the bathroom, suddenly asked

"I live here" they all turned to that voice, and there she stood, leaning her body on the door of the hallway towards the bathroom and to the 2nd room, and she had her arms crossed "I am the ugly, bitch, gold digger fiancè of Akashi Seijurou, (l/n) (f/n)" she introduced herself and smirked "we aren't married yet, but I live here as well. Nice to meet you"

"(F/N)!" Akashi immediately stood up and approached her, giving her a quick kiss on the lips "I thought you would be back next week, and what's with the introduction?"

"Well, the ugly bitch me finished my work early. They asked me to inspect one of the branches here so they let me go early. I am planning to go tonight with you instead, so can you tell them to leave, I am so irritated and tired since I returned here, and those two women just added to it"

"I understand." Akashi responded and he new right away that something happened why she was introducing herself like that. He led her in front of his classmates, and wrapped his arm around her waist "let me introduce my fiancè, my wife soon, (L/N) (F/N). Now then, I know that it's your first time here in our place, but I'll invite you again next time. Is it okay if we end it now?"

"Then, your girlfriend can have consideration, right?" One of the girls who came from the bathroom asked

"I can, but after what I heard your little talk in the bathroom, as if I can" (F/N) retorted in calm tone even though she was still irritated "I am really tired, then I was awaken by two voices giggling in the bathroom, talking about how to make Seijurou fall asleep, and do this and that to him. Should I let you stay still? Go, I am a bitch after all, so go. Get out!"

"What the heck did you two do?!" The guys asked "we brought you with us because you said you won't do anything." They annoyingly told them

"Just leave for now. I'll invite the guys again later. My fiancè just came back, and in foul mood, so I need to calm her down. So go, especially you two" Akashi told them and gestured them to leave. And as they were left just the two of them

"Then, what happened?" Akashi curiosly asked the irritated (F/N)

"Nothing!" She hissed then sighed "anyways, let's go. I am serious about the inspections. Before, it was you who did that. This time, you'll accompany me. I'll just take a shower." She left Akashi, who looked at her, curious to what happened to her

~that night~

"I am really thinking what's wrong with their dishes. They are good, but somehow, something is missing" (F/N) wondered as they entered the condominium "something is really missing"

"You've been thinking about that ever since we left that restaurant. We went to three restaurants, and yet the last one really bothers you a lot."

"Yeah, I need to give an accurate report after all" she responded then lowered her head when she noticed the three women that came out of the elevator

"(F/N)? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Let's go home-" Akashi told her but noticed the women whispering to each other

"Let's go" (F/N) hurriedly get in the elevator and still her head down. Akashi followed her, but watched the three women, who were still looking at them.

(F/N) entered their house first and headed to the guest room to get her stuffs.

"Why you didn't go to our room?" Akashi leaned his body on the door frame, as he crossed his arms, not leaving his gaze at her

"I was so tired"

"What really happened, (F/N)?"

~that afternoon~

"Welcome back, (F/N)-sama" the front lady of the condominium greeted her

"Thank you. Is Seijurou already here?"

"No, Seijurou-sama hasn't arrived back yet. Should I tell him when he returns that-"

"Ah, no, don't tell him. He doesn't know I will be back today"

"Noted. Seijurou-sama always tell me that too"

"Sometimes I need to surprise him as well." They both chuckled and it was then she gasped and remembered "ah, right, I believe there's a package for me today."

"Yes, for you and for Seijurou-sama as well. I'll go and get them for you"

"Thank you" as (f/n) waited for the front desk lady, she noticed the three women looking at her, in which one of them lived there, and it was then they raised their voices for her to hear

"So they aren't married, but she lives there with him? Youngsters these days are being bold." One of them commented

"So they are not yet married, why is she getting his package?" The other one followed

"I don't know. But I heard that he is rich so that's why she is sticking to him" the one who lives in the same condominium answered

"Here you go (F/N)-sama" the front desk lady then noticed the women looking at them, and also the changed in (F/N)'s mood

"Thank you. Well then" she immediately got the packages, and left. The front desk lady turned to the women and shook her head

(F/N) was about to enter their room, but remembered the words from those women

"We aren't married and we haven't done it. As if they know anything" she hissed but sighed "I'll just sleep on the other room"

She headed to the other room which was closer to the bathroom, which was why, when Akashi and his classmates arrived, she wasn't awaken by their loud voices, but instead she was awaken from the giggling of the two girls who went to the bathroom. There she heard them, calling her ugly, bitch, gold-digger and they were planning how to make Akashi fall asleep so they could do it with him. Hearing their conversation, (F/N) just couldn't help but get annoyed. She stood up and waited them to leave.

"Wow. This is annoying, seriously" she sighed and quickly went to the bathroom to check herself then went to meet Akashi's classmates.

~present time~

"It's just annoying..." (F/N) commented after she explained what happened to her. She was sitting on the floor, in front of her luggage "people really do love to run their mouth non-stop"

Akashi chuckled and sat down on the bed, (F/N) continued complaining how others see them like others who live together.

"I am sorry though, I know that you are complying to what I said before that I wanted to do it after we get married" she looked at him and pouted her lips "I know you are holding back"

"Well, it's fine. I complied to it anyways. By the way (F/N),"

"Hmmm?"

"It's past 12 already, happy anniversary"

She gasped from what he said and immediately got her gift to him from her bag. She stood up and handed her gift to him "I bought it in Nagoya, I know you haven't tried it, piyorin. My other gift, I'll give it to you later." She smiled shyly "Happy Anniversary."

Akashi accepted her gift then put it down. He held both her hands and looked at her "I want your gift now though"

"I am planning to cook food for you. So let's celebrate here, is it okay?"

"I don't mind"

"Let's go to grocery tomorrow, I know you don't have schedule for three days"

"Tomorrow morning"

"Hmmm"

"We'll go somewhere first before we go to grocery"

"Where are we going?" She confusedly asked

"We will register your name, and be an Akashi"

"Eh?" She asked him again trying to assure of what she heard was correct "is that...?"

"Let's get married, (F/N). I am sure there are things we still don't know towards each other, but I think we know each other enough for you to be my wife." Akashi pulled her closer and chuckled seeing her crying "I take this as a yes"

"Yeah... Seijurou, I really love you, I really do."

"I know" he laughed more and let her sit on his lap and hugged her "let's register tomorrow, then let's do our ceremony-"

"On your birthday" she moved back and smiled

"Eh?"

"I know it will be soon, but-"

"I understand. Let's keep it to our family and close friends only. Let's talk about it later. (F/N), there's one thing, before this day ends, you'll be fully mine."

(F/N) hugged him again and nodded "yeah, but I am yours already even before. Akashi Seijurou, I really love you!"

Akashi hugged her tighly, calming her down since her tears didn't want to stop "your cousin Reo-san told me once that your scent was changing means you were changing, but Kuroko made me realize that it wasn't the case"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"It is you who changed us. Your friends changed because of your words, and how you interact with them. They thought you were changing but we didn't realize that it was us who changed. Looked how you changed Kaoru, even our classmates before, how you changed me, and even father. Kuroko explained to me that you are like a vanilla, your scent won't change, but if you are combine to others, the others would change instead." Akashi moved back and touched her cheeks "thank you, for changing me, (F/N)."

"Seijurou..." she looked straight at him, seeing the sincere look from her soon to be husband "thank you for loving me, for accepting me even how crazy my life was before. Seijurou, thank you for everything and as your wife, I will do my best" she caressed his cheeks as well and smiled "I love you, I really do."

Akashi gently pulled her and nodded "I can't wait for it, for you to be officially my wife. I love you, (F/N)." And with that, Akashi didn't wait any moment, he kissed her, assuring her how he loves her, and she complied to his will, assuring him how she loves him.
