The sky was a bit gloomy, the weather was so cold, in any minute, the snow might fall. It was heavy and for (F/N), she wanted to just stay inside. But, Akiko and Sae told her to go already to her grandma, and talk to her. If she would wait more of it, she won't be able to say it. But Akashi suggested to call them first, to make sure that they are in their house

"Here, use our home phone to call them. You know the number, right?" Akashi handed their wireless hand phone

She was hesitant, but still got it from him.

She made a deep breath, and prepared herself. She dialled the number but froze "I forgot Satsuki-san's number... I'll just call the home phone"

She dialled a different number again, and it rang couple of times, until someone answered

"(L/N) household, Masato speaking"

"Masato-san, it's (F/N)."

"Oh! (F/N)-kun, how are you?"

"I am doing okay. Is grandma there?"

She heard Masato from the other side of the phone asking someone and her eyes widened hearing his response

"They said she went to see you. She's with Satsuki-san and her son, Reo"

"What?! She went to see me?! When did they leave?!"

"They said almost an hour ago"

"What?! Anyways, thank you!" (F/N) ended the call and turned to Akashi in grimace

"What's wrong?" Sae and Akiko asked at the same time

"Grandma went to see me! I need to go home!" She anxiously tried to leave, but Akashi grabbed her hand and stopped her "Akashi!"

"I understand that you are anxious. Calm down. We'll drive you there. It's faster, and safer"

"T-thank you"

They all headed out, and immediately went to (F/N)'s house. She was so nervous, and was hoping that there won't be anyone in the house, except for her step-mother and step-siter, she was hoping that at least they stopped by somewhere and still weren't there. She was trying to be positive, since it was still afternoon.

However, as they arrived in front of their house, they were surprised seeing a police car parked in front of the house.

"Did grandma call them?" (F/N) asked as they got off the car but her eyes widened when two policemen were escorting her grandma, her auntie and cousin, who had cuff on their hands "GRANDMA! Satsuki-san! Reo-nii!" She shouted and hastily ran towards them. There were four people also inside the house that (F/N) didn't know, looking at them angrily

"(F/N)!" Satsuki called her in relief "thank God, you are here!"

"What happened?!"

"We were caught for trespassing" his cousin Reo chuckled "Grandma was telling these policemen that it's her house, but when the people inside called Kinako, she bluntly told them that she has no grandma, so they called the police for tresspassing. We were trying to call your dad, but he isn't answering"

"Please free them!" (F/N) told the policemen

"Who are you?" One of the policemen asked

"I am her granddaughter, and this is her house. She lives in the countryside with my dad's sister"

"Liar! Kinako's family lives here!" One of the girls shouted "who are these people?!" They hissed in disgust

"Where's Kinako? You should tell her, her step-sister is back. I actually ran away from home but seems they didn't even realize" she sighed in disbelief

One of Kinako's friends called her and they put it in loud speaker and they heard her "step-sister? I don't have one"

"She is really a bitch!" Akiko hissed in anger

"I think you all got the wrong address" the other policemen told them

"(F/N), call your stupid dad" her grandma ordered her

"His phone is off mom" Satsuki reminded her "where is that stupid man anyways?! We would be ending in jail!"

"He said he has meeting- Ah! Mr Lau!" (F/N) shouted and hurriedly ran towards her room to get her phone"

"She was so nervous a while ago though" Sae reminded them

"It's about her grandma after all" Akiko commented then turned to Akashi "why do I feel like you knew about it. Shintarou told me that you were trying to ask him to admit someone on their hospital."

"Yeah, it was all in plan. And her grandma knew about it as well" Akashi honestly responded

"That.. what do you mean...?" The two nervously asked

Kinako's friends and one of the policemen followed her, in which they were surprised that she knew well the house, and was able to unlock the door the policemen trying to open a while ago. They saw her pictures, and saw a family picture of (F/N)

"Why do you have things in here?!" Kinako's friends asked

"I told you, damn this is my grandma's house. My dad with my disgusting step-mother and step-sister live here, and I'm the black sheep daughter of my dad." (F/N) chuckled then they went out as she called Mr. Lau, and she put it on loudspeaker

"Hello?"

"Mr. Lau, this is (F/N)"

"Ohh, (F/N), how are you?"

"I'm doing good. Mr. Lau, is dad with you?"

"Yes, he is with me. He is actually in front of me, looking at me right now. Do you want to talk to him?"

"Yes, please"

And not long after

"(F/N), I am in the meeting-"

"Grandma, Satsuki-san and Reo-nii are being taken away by the policemen because of trespassing. Because your no good step-daughter will be having a party today, and told them that she has no grandmother, and she has no step-sister."

"What are you saying? (F/N), are you trying to get in the-"

"You stupid son of mine! Get your ass over here in my house and see it yourself. If you won't come here, you would never see me, your family, nor your daughter anymore! Your daughter ran away and you didn't even know! Get your stupid ass back here!" (F/N)'s grandma shouted in anger.

(F/N) ended the call and again explained things to the policemen. She also told Kinako's friend to tell Kinako to come home, and her secret was already out. The policemen didn't leave yet since they wanted to make sure that everything would be okay, and to know who was saying the truth

"But where is her mother? On a date or something?!" (F/N) agitatedly asked caressing her grandma's hands "are you okay, grandma?"

"I am okay. Come here my dear." Her grandma hugged her and caressed her back "you should have told me sooner that you are experiencing this."

"Grandma, you knew, so you came here?" (F/N) asked and she was starting to cry

"We'll explain later when your stupid dad arrives. He needs some beat up"

Satsuki on the other hand approached Akashi

"You are her boyfriend. Your plan is creepingly on point. But what you said, is it true? My brother's memory of (F/N) and her mother?"

"Yes, we will explain things later, when everyone is here." Akashi responded

After 20 minutes, Mr. Lau arrived with (F/N)'s dad

"Just what in the world is this?!" (F/N)'s dad asked

The policemen explained what happened and he proved that he was living there, and the house was his mother's property.

He approached his mother but received a hard slap from his own mother

"How horrible could you be?! Slapping your own blood related daughter?! Not believing her words?! Believing your step-daughter?! Not knowing and not even caring that your own daughter ran away from my own house?! Letting unknown people do parties in my own house!"

"Grandma, calm down" (F/N) and Reo tried to stop him

Not long after, Kinako arrived and was anxious seeing the gallery in front of their house.

She called her mother as well and was on the way home already.

"Kinako, what is the meaning of this?!" Her friends asked her "you said you have no grandmother, and no step-sister"

"She isn't entirely wrong. She is not my granddaughter. But I am wondering why she said she doesn't have step-sister"

"My existence is next to nothing to her friends and dad's co-workers. They always asked me to leave the house" (F/N) explained

"(F/N), why are you making up stories?" Her dad asked and received a smacked from his sister

"She isn't making stories. The policemen here could testify the words of these kids here. They are planning to have a party tonight, they don't know (F/N)'s existence. They are doing this to your own daughter, and you didn't care"

"Because for him, it was the other way around" Akashi spoke and everyone looked at him

"Who are you? What do you know?!" (F/N)'s father angrily asked

"It's nice to meet you. I am Akashi Seijurou, your daughter's boyfriend"

"You are just pretending, aren't you?"

"I am afraid we are not. Anyways, I will apologize to (F/N) later on. Since she is really in pain, I have things investigated so everything would end." He responded then turned to Mr. Lau "right, Mr. Lau?"

"My main reason is of course the business with (L/N)-san. However, along with it, I have found out that (L/N)-san has been taking a medicine that makes him forget traumatic experience, and he is doing psychotherapy"

"Mr. Lau, he isn't a doctor for that."

"I sent the medicine to my friend who specializes on medicines, and also investigated the doctor you recommeded, to find out that he is a psychologist. The result of the medicine was also sent to me, he said that it's a new medicine that was created only 7 years ago, for people who had traumatic experience, and the effect of it is to have that traumatic experience be forgotten, along with psychotherapy. I asked my friend more to it, and he said that other effect of it is having your memory jumbled, and the people relationship around you might change. But noticing how you interacted with your co-workers, you is okay. So I think the doctor is able to manipulate your relationship interaction with your daughter only instead. We investigated more to it, and they told us that it was possible" Mr. Lau explained and showed them the medical result

"It was all lie! My wife was the one who recommended it, and she won't do it to me"

"Your wife is cheating with you" Mr. Lau stated

"What kind of bulls**t you are saying?!" Aida arrived and immediately approached her daughter "I could take legal actions for doing that towards my husband! And also teling me that I am cheating?!"

"I saw you though" (F/N) commented on the side

"I also saw you and talked to you." Mr. Lau told her

"Also legal actions? We are also doing the same thing. If (L/N)-san's medical result is positive with it, you and the doctor will be in trouble. Also, we got the CCTV footage from the day (F/N) and Mr. Lau saw you on that hotel." Akashi showed them the footage, and indeed, what (F/N) and Mr. Lau said was the truth

(L/N)-san turned to his wife and he was unsure to what was going on

"We were here because of a trespassing call, but it became bigger as it is" one of the policemen sighed "however, if the medical result is positive, Mrs. (L/N) and the doctor will be in serious charge, because Mr. (L/N) seemed no knowledge regarding it. Also, for the affair, there's a concrete evidence. You will be charge with it"

"Also" the other police turned to Akashi "even if it is for your girlfriend, it is still prohibited to get private information without consent-"

"I gave him the consent to investigate it" (F/N)'s grandma told them "when I found out that (F/N) is going out with someone, I asked Satsuki to just get information about him. But we found out that (F/N) is experiencing such thing, so I asked him. He suggested this plan, and I gave him consent"

"Then that's settled. Now then" the policemen turned to (F/N)'s father, who was having a mental breakdown "it seems he is not in the right mental state to ask though"

"We will continue this in court" (F/N)'s grandma decided "we will file case against this woman here, also the doctor, and the man she is having affair with. And you people!" She turned to Kinako and her friends "get out of my house!"

"This is also my house!" Aida shouted "I will call my lawyer. This is absurd"

"Dad!" (F/N) shouted as her father lost conscious.

"I already called an ambulance. This is an after-effect of that medicine. If his mental state is unstable, he will loose conscious." Mr. Lau explained

"Also, we already contacted a specialist. He will be okay, however (F/N), he will be staying in the hospital to do the rehabilitation" Akashi added

"I understand. Also, Akashi" she turned to him "I need explanation"

"That's my plan" he responded and it was then the ambulance came.

Satsuki and his son went with (F/N)'s father using their own car, and he was transported to the hospital that is owned by Midorima's family. (F/N) wanted to go, but Satsuki told her to stay with her grandmother

"Now what are you going to do with these two?" Sae questioned them

"I have the rights to kick them out of this house. It is mine after all" grandma told them "also, mr policemen, don't let this woman go. She is still my stupid son's wife, and my daughter-in-law. She needs some beaten up too."

The policemen brought Aida to the police station. Akashi asked Mr. Lau to go there as well, and he would be sending (F/N) and her grandma there. Sae and Akiko on the other hand decided to stay and go to Akiko's house, but Akashi told them to go back to his place and wait for (F/N)'s return.

For the house, (F/N)'s grandma told Kinako before leaving

"Pack your things and your mother's and leave before we return. I will call people from our other house to get my son's and granddaughter's stuffs here, and I will be selling this house"

As (F/N) and the other's arrived to the police station, Aida was already under question. Since there was enough proof for the affair, she would be detained. However, for (F/N)'s father's health issue, until the result comes out they won't be able to move to the next stage.

(F/N) was asked to wait outside as her grandma with the help of Mr. Lau processed the papers.

"(F/N)" Akashi approached her who was standing in front of the police station "are you okay?"

"Unknown" she responded "my mind isn't following what happened. I want you to explain everything to me from the very start"

"That's my plan"

"And to think that you even planned this with my grandma, and even got her concent, since when did you plan all of these?"

"No, that..."

"Of course that was a blatant lie" they turned behind and it was her grandma with Mr. Lau. "I only found out about it this week, and just went with flow of his plan. If I didn't tell them about it a while ago, then this boyfriend of yours and this man here would be in trouble as well."

"Is that true?!" (F/N) asked in disbelief

"Yes, I am thankful for the follow-up"

"Well, I think you already had planned things out if that would happen. Also, it should be me who should be saying thank you. If you didn't tell us, I couldn't imagine what would happen to my granddaughter and also to my son."

"It was creepy though that his plans went smoothly." Mr. Lau commented on the side then turned to (F/N) "it was indeed a plan to be your acquaintant, but you really are kind, (F/N). And to think you also helped my daughter"

"No, it's okay. I am glad that I was helpful. I'll hear all the details of it from Akashi later." (F/N) responded

Not long after, Akashi's lawyer arrived. Akashi explained that they will be helping them on this case, so leave everything to him. Though (F/N) didn't want to, Akashi insisted. Her grandma just laughed and convinced (F/N) to accept it. She explained though that she kept on receiving from Akashi, and she didn't want to bother him more to it.

"Then, from now on support him, love him more, and stay by his side." Her grandma told her.

They headed to the hospital and there saw (F/N)'s father lying on the hospital bed, sleeping.

The doctor explained that they ran test for him, and he had a mental breakdown when he woke up, so they let him sleep.

"However, unfortunately, the rehabilitation for Mr. (L/N) will take time since seeing his medical history, he is been taking this medicine for couple of years now. You will be seeing the psychological effects from him of not taking the medicines, and I will say it advance, his memories will jumble more, and he might not remember you, or he might think you as other person. Not just you but other close to him"

"Can he still remember her?" Satsuki worriedly asked

"There's a slim chance that he will remember her. Because of the therapy he underwent, there's really a high chance that he will not remember her as his daughter. He might forget her fully, or think of her as someone else"

"I'll wait" (F/N) responded "I'll wait until the day he will remember me as his daughter. Since I need him to apologize"

"Ehh? That one?" Reo commented on the side

"Of course. He is my father." She crossed her arms and looked at her father who was still sleeping "I'm willing to wait."

"Well, in any case, we will contact you if there will be progress or irregularities. For now, he won't wake up until tomorrow"

"Thank you sensei. We'll leave my son to you"

"Well then, (F/N)." She turned to her grandma curiously, and wondered what was the sudden change of serious tone "for tonight, stay in his house. Tomorrow, I will be sending a moving truck to get all your stuffs from the house. You will be moving to our place as well"

"Uhm, grandma. You aren't planning to transfer me to closer high school right?" (F/N) worriedly asked

"No, of course not. That's one thing I promised this young guy here. You will live with us. We will send you every day to school. You can commute on the way home. And if there's no bus, message us and we will pick you up." Her grandma patted her back and chuckled "don't worry, your dad will be okay, and I won't let you experience the same thing. Until you graduate high school, you will be with us, and if you choose to study University here, you can still stay with us. But, if you have problem, let us know, talk to me, okay?"

"Grandma, I really love you!" (F/N) hugged her and cried "I didn't want to let you know about this because I was worried of your health, I am sorry"

"I am glad though that you are being loved by this guy here. However," she looked at Akashi and sighed "please explain to her everything, and also act on your age"

"Nah, he is like an adult already, grandma" (F/N) retorted

"I am not. If I am, I won't do this childish thing"

"Is this childish thing?!" Reo asked in disbelief

"If I am an adult, I won't go around and plan things like this." Akashi responded

"Well, in any case, Seijurou-kun, I'll leave my granddaughter to you for now. Make sure to send her home tomorrow"

"I will. Well then, leave everything to my lawyer and Mr. Lau, they will take care of the case against that woman. For now, we'll leave. We'll see you tomorrow." Akashi bowed down and he led (F/N) to their car and they headed back to his house.

On the way, she asked him to start explaining. She was surprised, but she couldn't do anything about it anymore since it already happened, and Akashi did it for her.

When they arrived, they explained it again to Akiko and Sae, and told them what happened after and what would happen.

That next day, before heading to her grandma's house, they dropped Akiko off the station, and sent Sae to her house. They also stopped by (F/N)'s house, and there saw Satsuki supervising the people getting their stuffs. Kinako, with her friends, were also there, watching how her stuffs were getting out of the house.

Akashi told her not to get off, and they just passed by and headed to her grandma's place.

They were welcomed by her grandma, and immediately led her to her new room. Akashi just stayed behind.

"Grandma was actually excited" Reo chuckled as he stood next to Akashi "on the way home yesterday, she actually called someone to start cleaning her room. Then when she got home, she made sure it was clean, everything will be on it. She is excited"

"She is a grandmother afterall" Akashi commented

"Not just that, we all know that her favourite is (F/N). She really wanted to visit (F/N) for a long time now, but because her step-mother lives there, she refused too. They often talked, but (F/N) never mentioned it."

"Are you okay with it? That her Favourite is (F/N)?"

"We all don't mind. Plus, we all like (F/N). Good thing she got her personality from her mom. We all liked her mom. They are both kind, and really extraordinary. But (F/N)'s scent..." Reo made a deep thought then turned to Akashi "it was an innocent scent before, then when her mom died, it became a mild scent, when she met her friend, it became a strong scent, but now, as if it's entirely different scent, and it's close to yours, there's still the scent of Vanilla. Funny thing though, she only use vanilla scents."

"I'll dye her more of my scents. Slowly, it will be entirely different one."

Reo laughed and then crossed his arms "are you planning to live together during University?"

"Yeah" he immediately responded "this is my first time having this feeling, and I am a loyal person." Akashi chuckled

"Akashi! Come here! I'll show you something interesting!" They both looked up and on the 2nd floor's veranda, (F/N) was having a big wide smile, calling Akashi.

"Well then, I'll go and see this interesting thing." Akashi headed to (F/N)' room and when he left, a girl approached Reo

"Who is that handsome guy?" She excitedly asked

"(F/N)'s boyfriend"

"Ah, so it is real. She will be staying here"

"Rena, she will be living with us from now on. You heard what happened to her, so you bitching around is prohibited" Reo sighed

"If she will behave-"

"You behave" Reo told him and left her. Rena is her 12 years old younger sister. She liked (F/N), but when she saw her last time, she became disappointed how (F/N) changed.

Later that day, (F/N) was talking to Reo, who was explaining the changes on her grandma's house

Akashi was sitting on the living room, and not long after, her grandma approached him.

"Is it okay for you to be here by yourself?"

"Yes, however, I am worried though"

"About?"

"Make sure to be with her tonight. She looks tough and seems okay, but when you leave her by herself, she'll breakdown. She wasn't able yesterday because her friends were with her, but starting tonight, make sure to be with her."

"You really care for my granddaughter. I am glad that she is loved by a guy like you. You are both still 2nd year high school kids, so enjoy your times together. You won't know if you will end up together, but I will support the two of you as long as I am alive."

"Thank you. I will also assure you, I am a loyal person. She is the first person, who interests me, and I won't let her get away. She is a very rare person after all, and the person that I need on my side."

"Yeah, I'll leave her to you"

"What are you two talking about?" (F/N) curiously approached them

"We are just talking about tomorrow." Akashi responded "you can skip class again tomorrow. I'll talk to our teacher"

"But, I was absent last week-"

"You are smart, so you can catch up with it easily. Also, I can help you with studying. Just rest."

"But-"

"Then, go to school tomorrow." Akashi stood up and touched her cheeks "With a lively face. No swollen eyes. You have bags under your eyes, (F/N). Rest. You couldn't sleep much these past few days. It was stressful."

She pouted her lips as she gazed away and felt defeated since Akashi saw through her again.

"Well then, I'll take my leave now"

"Eat dinner with us" (F/N) told Akashi

"I would love to, however, my father is stopping by tonight. I need to explain things to him after all."

"Ah..." (F/N) gazed away and she chuckled that curious Akashi "I actually talked to your dad, I think it was last Thursday"

"Eh? I never heard of it. What did he say?"

"He told everyone not to tell you." She responded then winked at him "it's an important talk with him after all"  Akashi stared at her, and for her, for the first time, she knew something that he didn't know

"Have that smile now, since I'll know about it soon"

"Geez, let me enjoy this victory. At least for once, you don't know something that I know" she hissed

"That's why I said, have that smile now. Anyways, I'll take my leave now. I'll see you in school" he responded and patted her head "make sure to rest, okay?"

"Yeah"

(F/N) and her grandma sent him off, and as they left, her grandma chuckled

"I'll do my best to live longer, attend your wedding, and see my great grand children"

"Great grandchildren...?" She chuckled "I received lots from Akashi. From now on, it's my turn to give him. I'll do my best, to make him smile always. You see grandma, Akashi's smile is very refreshing to see, a genuine smile"

"Then, he protects you, so protect that smile"

"I will" (F/N) smiled ear to ear

However that night, as what Akashi worried about, (F/N) couldn't sleep at all. She remembered what happened and she could only cry.

"He is really right" her grandma entered her room. She approached her and hugged her "come here, my dear"

"Grandma, I hated dad for what he did to me. But knowing what happened to him, I didn't know what to feel. But still, he might not remember me, or think of me as someone else."

"Don't worry, we'll do anything for him to recover. Seijurou-kun also told me to assure you, he already asked a specialist to look after him. Don't worry about your dad. He will be okay."

Her grandma stayed with her, and that next day, even though she hated to admit it, she really didn't want to go to school with swollen eyes. So she rested the whole day, and refresh her mind.
