Jay shielded Tara from the rains, still bewildered at the situation. He was unable to save Meera and Tapish, despite he did not have any kind of attachment with them, he thought he had failed in protecting the baby's parents.

He was still in mixed emotions about fathering the child. He was not sure if the child would accept him as her father. But he had promised the couple that he would take care of her.

"But why me?...am I worthy of it?" Jay asked standing above the hills

"Aww! She is such a cute baby!" A voice was heard

"Shankar?" Jay as bewildered

"Where did you go?" Jay questioned

But before Jay could say anything, Shankar took the baby in his arms and asked

"Is she your daughter?" Shankar asked patting the child

"Um....yeah....Kind of....maybe not...I mean...It's complicated..." Jay shrugged

The baby was holding Jay's finger, not wanting to let it go.

"Aww! the father daughter relationship is the best! Dad's angel huh?"Shakar asked 

"Careful...I am not her father....I am her guardian..." Jay cried

"But the baby likes you...Why don't you accept her as your daughter...she'll be just like you..." Shankar said

Jay recalled that Tara would become a naagin. But how? She was the daughter of Tapish, an eagle and Meera, a normal girl. And later he realized that she was Amrita and maybe that was why she was a naagin.

"Arrey...where is he?" Jay searched for Shankar everywhere holding the baby

Two days later,

Chandrakala stood frozen inside the cave. The cave's opening closed by itself such that no one could see it. The malevolent entity, was paralyzed, forever.

"Your mother deserved this..." Bani cried as she looked at her pic

"She was never my mother..." Veer sadly said

Bani gently patted Veer and said "Your brother has killed everyone who wronged you..." Bani cried looking at the window

Bani and Veer came to know about Jay's actions by reading the sculptures inside the cave.

"But where are Meera and Tapish bhai?" Veer questioned

As Bani had the naagmani inside her, she was able to say what had happened to them.

"Only their baby is alive..." Bani said

"What? That stupid idiotic naag...." Veer shouted

"Veer...we have ended the enmity between both the clans...remember?" Bani asked

"So? That doesn't give him the rights to kill my innocent brother...and sister in law..." Veer shouted

"They died in an accident..."Bani cried 

Veer frowned

"Jay is a changed man now..." Bani said

Veer nodded

"And he is is taking care of Meera di's daughter..." 

"How do you know? And why can't we bring up Tara? " Veer questioned

"Jay apologized to me yesterday...and he was genuine...it was Tapish bhai and Meera di's last wish to make him the parent of their baby...Jay is fathering Tara..." Bani said

Veer stood inside the large mansion silently. Though he knew that Ponky,Daksh, Monil, Pawan chacha and Balwant dad had killed his family, he grew up with them.

"When Jay could mend his ways, why didn't my other family members ..."

"They were never your family, Veer...they killed your family, they murdered your brother Teer, they used you, they did not treat you as their son...they showed you the wrong path...they killed your papa...Sameer Singhania..." Bani cried and continued

"Jay was a murderer...I agree...but he never disrespected a woman like Ponky,Daksh. Monil or Shukla's sons did. He planned to snatch powers, but he never wished to snatch the honor and dignity of a woman.Jay lost his love, Avantika because of them. They deserved to be killed, Veer..."

"I know...it is bitter, right? To be an orphan despite having a family...?  Well..you are right...Balwant was just my papa's chauffeur...nothing else...but you are my everything,sweetheart!" Veer pulled Bani towards her

"Well...Jay can stay here if he wants to...after all, he is my brother..." Veer said

Bani smiled and nodded.

A few months passed by,

Chandrakala was long forgotten. No one knew that the evil witch had been trapped inside the cave, it seemed so. 

Jay apologized to the Mathur family and parted ways with them. He came back to the Singhania mansion, where his daughter was waiting for him.

"OOOOO....papa...papa..." The toddler cried and went to him. 

"What did they say, Jay?" Bani asked

"Nothing bhabi, they were just shocked...I was thinking about working from home,just wanted to help Veeranshu in business..." He said

Bani took her newborn baby in her arms. Jay had built a separate home, next to Singhania mansion and decided to give Vani privacy.

"Jay has really changed...but I still doubt him..." Veer frowned

"Oh Veer! No enmity!" Bani cried

Veer and Bani's efforts did bear fruit. The enmity between the snakes and eagles was ended for sure. Jay and Veer had united as brothers.

"What shall we name our kid, Veer?" Bani asked

"It's okay...but I want her back..." the lady said and went out, camouflaging with the darkness.
