A cold wind brushes by, as the camera pans to snowy fields where it appears to be Antarctica.

Five individuals are shown lying on the icy ground.

One of them was a young, dark-haired man in a blue suit with grey lightning bolt-shaped stripes on the costume.

Next to him, a dark-skinned young woman with short hair, in a bright orange and blue suit.

Front of him was a medium length brown-haired man in a black, dark grey and dark indigo suit with a long cape.

The other two, consisted of a long white haired woman in white and pink suit, and finally, a young tan-skinned man with spiky short dark red hair, with bright red and purple costume.

As they were lying there, bloodied and injured, flash back cuts to Ethan in his house, holding a ring, at the picture of Naomi smiling, as a tear falls down his eye.

The Vanguardians, all slowly groan, before getting up, as they look up to the sky for something.

The scene cuts to Ethan looking up, as he sees an ominous threat coming as the people scream and run away.

"There's some big threat out here...." Ethan says as the scene cuts to a little girl who is about to be hit with debris but Ethan, as Bravestorm, blasts a lightning bolt around it to protect her.

"And we can save it together." Ethan says, as he looks at Rachel, Henry, Alice, and Joshua.

"I believed that most people didn't agree about our.... methods in saving the world." Henry said, as the scene cuts to Vanguardians brutally murdering villains before they walk out from the explosion behind them, with blood covering their costumes.

"Well right now, we're the only ones the world can count on." Joshua replied.

"Yeah, and to be their scapegoat for their mess later on." Rachel said sarcastically, as Henry simply looks while Ethan smirks.

The scene then cuts to darkness covering the city.

"You think you were some kind of saviors?" A voice was heard as the Vanguardians faces a man in dark red, black, and gold armor. "You can't even save yourselves...."

The scene cuts to a supervillain in an armor attacking the city by unleashing energy bolts, as Bravestorm dodges it before charges at him with superhuman speed, hitting the villains. He then generates ice that crushes many of the demon-looking monsters altogether.

Hexmaker slices through the soldiers before fighting a female villain with a sword, clashing blades as she growls at Hexmaker.

Riftstar jumps through many portals, chasing a villain with a goggle as she engages in a fist fight with him.

Vitalito and Forcewave are facing off against many flying aliens, as Vitalito blasts purple smoke at the aliens while Forcewave uses her powers to bring down their ships.

"No matter what happens... this is our home." Alice says, as Vanguardians stand up in the icy fields.

A man in a business suit, working for the government looks from the headquarters, frowning.

Bravestorm and Hexmaker defend group of mutant-looking people from protesters who calls them freaks.

A child is then shown, in a war or some kind, holding up a makeshift flag with Vanguardians' emblem drawn on it. "Vanguardians..." He closes his eyes and calls out to the heroes, as Vitalito arrives, extending his hand to the kid.

Bravestorm fights against Homelander, dodging his heat vision before throwing a powerful punch, sending him flying.

"And no matter what happens...." The scene cuts to many children wearing t-shirts and masks of Vanguardians, as the people cheer them on.

"We'll face it together as a family." Forcewave fly off to the sky, Vitalito running through bullets, as Riftstar generates pink energy that rips through space, and Hexmaker throws his chains. The scene then ends with Bravestorm yells as he blasts lightning bolts and icicles.

As the Chaosbringers stands before the Vanguardians, Bravestorm charges up his powers. "You want us? Come and get us!" The villains roar as Vanguardians charges at them.

Vanguardians Ascending

In the burning building, a zombie-like villain jumps out from the debris, roaring. "Yes! I am in-" He is cut off as Forcewave sends him flying away.

"Not everyone gets a speech." She says, as the team laughs.
