Aichi

It seems like it felt it was a long time ago, with the Reversed invasion, like it was all a dream to me. 

But on the bright side, it seems like the Cardfighting Club has been gathering a lot of new members ever since I decided to seal myself away. 

I walked inside the clubroom, as Shingo and Naoki were going to ready to play Vanguard match against one other. 

"There he is! You're late." Shingo said, pulling up his glasses. Naoki waves at me in a kind gesture, but I knew that things weren't the same without Kourin around. 

I remembered clearly after my battle with Min. 

"Aichi, what's going on?" I turn to see Min in her Psyqualia soul self , as the others were in frozen in time. 

 "I believe it is my doing."  A familiar voice replied to us, as Min and I turned around to see it was Kourin. 

She was sad, as Min was curious about her well-being. 

"I don't understand. What you mean, it's your doing?" Min asks her. Kourin looks at our friend's faces as she looks directly at Min and me. 

"It is time for me to say goodbye. Once the Moon Palace disappears, I will return to my original self, a person without any memories . " 

Min was in shock, "Is that why you were looking at Aichi like that? You knew if I won, you would disappear. Why didn't say anything if you knew that was going to happen? " 

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to find out my intentions , Min. But maybe it is for the best. I'm glad that I met all of you. Especially you, Aichi. " 

I  formed a smile, as I knew that I would probably find a way to regain her memories and we'll be reunited one day. 

"Kourin! I promise one day, I'll find you and regain your memories!  We'll always stay connected... because of Vanguard!" 

I smiled at the memory, but I still wonder where is Min now. 

Misaki touches my shoulder, "You're looking for Min, she's actually outside of the school , she's rebuilding her deck. " 

I nodded as I went to find her. 

Min

I was in the garden, where I used to hang out whenever I get the chance to, it really helps me find a way to rebuilt the deck I have. 

But it really makes me sad that I wouldn't be able to see Kourin anymore. Without her, it feels weird . 

"Min!" I hear an familiar voice. I turn to see Aichi who was panting with sweat as if he ran to find me. 

"Aichi." I said. Even though I found out that he sealed himself away because he has the Seed of Link Joker, it really pains me that he hid it all this time without telling Kai or me about it. 

"Min.. I know you're mad at me." He said. 

I scoffed, "Mad, more like disappointed. I thought that we were best friends, Aichi. Why ? Why didn't tell me , or Kai, about having the Seed all this time?!? 

You literally disappeared without saying anything, do you have any idea how worried we were?"

He said, "Look, I'm really am sorry. I didn't know that you guys were going after me like that. I shouldn't left you guys on the dark." 

I said, "Well, that is why I was mad at you! Geez, you're so stubborn." 

Aichi said, patting my shoulder, "I should say thing for you. I still hardly believe it. You improved a lot in that battle in the Moon Palace. And you have two units I never seen before." 

I looked at my deck, "Yeah. I guess I did. Although it was Blaster Blade who gave me Blaster Girl in the first place." 

"Really?!? Blaster Blade gave you your own AVATAR?!?" Aichi exclaimed, "But what about Queen Genevie? Was she given by Blaster Blade too?" 

"Honestly, I have no idea where that unit came from. Perhaps , maybe the unit felt my deepest desire to rescue you. " I replied. 

Aichi smiles a bit, but then looks at the Cherry blossoms that bloomed . "It really makes a difference, doesn't it?

I thought sealing away my problems would save everyone, but you and Kai never gave up of finding what I thought was lost. 

Thanks for reminding me. " 

I blushed, "It's nothing to it. I mean..." I decided to change the subject. 

"Did you hear? Gillard invited Kai to join him as an European Vanguard Pro. Isn't that great?"

Aichi seems surprised. " Really? He was invited?"

"Yeah, I did. I wanted to grow stronger and I want to improve myself as a Cardfighter." An familiar voice said. 

"Hey, Kai! " We greeted him. 

Kai turns to Aichi , "You really did an amount of trouble, Sendou. You really had to think you can solve everything on your own." 

Aichi rubs his head in total embarrassment, as I noticed Naoki running towards us. 

"Aichi, Min, Kai! I been looking everywhere for you guys! Here." 

We looked at the flier that he had given to Aichi, which causes us to be in total amazement. 

"Is this... " Kai asks, as I finish his question, "A flier for a Card Shop Vanguard tournament?" 

"It is! Actually, It was Shin's idea, since we'll be going our separate ways. Misaki asks me to give this to you guys hoping that you would participate." Naoki explains. 

We grinned at one other. We walked inside as we were in shock that the tournament was held at Card Capital! 

"Big Bro, Kai, Min, you made it! " Kamui declares. 

I felt like I was home, that I was able to play the game I loved with all my friends. 

Aichi and I were up against one other as we shuffled our decks. 

It was silence, until Aichi spoke up. 

"Min, um, I want to say that I'm proud of you. You really embrace of a being a true Cardfighter and an amazing friend. 

I couldn't be amazed of how long you would be as you improve your skills as a Cardfighter. No matter what, we're friends to the end and continue playing Vanguard." 

I smiled as I said, "Aichi, you have no idea how much that meant to me. Today's the day I am going to beat you in a Cardfight. 

So, don't go easy on me because we're friends." 

"In your dreams, Min." 

That was when my true Journey will begin.
