Aichi

As I couldn't believe it. Min truly has changed .  She's not like the person I remembered when I introduced her to Vanguard. 

She was shy at first, but as she continue playing, I haven't seen how much she has matured as a person. 

Was really possible that making her losing her memories a good thing? 

She took a deep breath, as if having Blaster Girl reminds her of the times we Cardfight together back at Card Capital. 

Min said, "Blaster Girl is my Avatar, just like Blaster Blade! Aichi, I'm not going back to Earth without you, you hear me?

This journey to find you taught me that I should never give up , and I have my own strength and weaknesses . 

I'm not that shy, non-confident young girl you met all those years ago! " 

Kai and the others seem to be truly amazed of her as I did. I never seen her act like this. 

Kai said,  "Min. " For a brief moment, she knew that things wouldn't be the same ever again.

Her eyes were full of determination, and she really reminds of I was, not to give up with the sake of the game we loved so much.  Has she truly changed?

Min's Psyqualia disappears as she sigh in total relief, "I know the risk of using too much of Psyqualia. 

I would lost the sight of what's important to me. Our friendship. I want us to be playing Vanguard , no matter if you have the Seed. 

Let's end this match, Aichi! Give me with everything you got with Link Joker's deck! I want to leave this Cardfight without any regrets." 

Our friends watched our battle in total awe and seems to be witnessing of how both of us had matured. Was I doing the right thing?

Even though I barely know Min , her determination, she reminds me of how Aichi was when he was determined of saving me when I was Reversed. 

"Min has truly matured so well, hasn't she?" Naoki asks , seeming to be beaming at her accomplishments so far. 

Ren nods, agreeing with the Cardfighter, "I totally see the change within her, even with her Psyqualia by her side. " 

Kai said, "Wither it involved with Vanguard, she never backs down on her word. That's the way Min is for herself. She wants Aichi and I to expand to her world, and she wants us to enjoy each memories we had . " 

That was when I realize something. Even if Aichi loses this Cardfight, I will be back to being the person that I used to be. 

A person without any memories of her past. 

"Min, if you win, you realize the consequences that you will make? " I ask. 

Min looks at me, "Kourin, what you mean? " 

"I mean, if you win, things will be different. I will be the person I once was." I explained, which made Aichi sadder than ever. 

"Kourin..." He said.  

Min looks at Aichi , but knows that she has to win this match.

I really don't understand it all, but Aichi really needs to know how much we needed him. I wanted to bring him back so badly. 

"Min, don't give up hope. " I turn to Blaster Girl. She seem to know how I was feeling inside. 

"Blaster Girl." I said in total amazement. "Just like you said, Planet Cray is trying to accept Link Joker as part of a new clan. 

We can do this, my Vanguard." 

I look at Blaster Joker. Even though his appearance has changed, but his spirit hasn't. His eyes told me the same thing. 

I smiled at my avatar and said, "You know, I'm glad you're my Avatar, Blaster Girl. I guess that Blaster Blade had some good intentions of bringing us both together. " 

That's when I was serious. I remembered the first time I encounter Vanguard. 

"I guard! " Aichi said, playing the game in Card Capital. 

"That looks fun. What you doing?" 

"Oh, it's Cardfighting. Well, it's mainly called Vanguard. It's a card game and it's really fun. " Aichi explains. 

"Hey, there , Min. I'm surprised you came. Welcome to Card Capital." Kai said, as he pats Aichi's shoulder. 

"Hey, there , Kai. So this is what you do after school. Um... I.. I .. want to learn how to play, if you like me to."  I stammered nervously. 

Kai looks at Aichi, "You should teach her, Aichi. You' re kind of a good teacher. " 

"Me?!? Are you sure, Kai? I mean, what about Team Q4 participating in the Asian Circuit? We should focus on that. " 

"It's a pleasure to fight with you, I'm Aichi Sendou. " 

"Name's Min Lin. I'm Kai's best friend. " I said, "I hope you wouldn't go easy on me because I'm a girl." 

"Hm. " Kai said as Aichi and I yelled in unison, "Stand up, Vanguard! " 

It was the day that truly expand my horizons and it led me through tough times. Without Vanguard, I wouldn't be able to make the connection I had with everyone I befriended. 

"Aichi, you're still the same person I known since the beginning." I said, beaming. 

Aichi 

I couldn't believe what Min is saying. Was I really the same person she knew as a kid?

I seen the image of her, as she was holding a vanguard card in her hand, as she looks up to me. 

"Aichi, there's something I want to say to you after all this time. " A young Min said, as she looks at me. 

Her eyes were filled with excitement, as I saw Kourin, Shin, Naoki, Shingo, Ren, Tetsu , and all the people that I had inspired through Vanguard. 

Is this... a vision by Min's Psyqualia? She appears to me , as a teen, beaming at me, and she shook her head. 

"Aichi, you big idiot. You started all of this. You helped me through my darkest times, and without you teaching me playing Vanguard, I wouldn't know how fun Cardfighting can actually be. 

You're my Vanguard, Aichi, always . And the thing that I wanted to say to you is ... Thank you. " 

The vision faded as we were back to the Moon Palace battlefield , as Min looks at Kai and the other specters who were watching our Cardfight. 

"I want to ask all of you this simple question: Would you want to share the Seed of Link Joker with Aichi?" 

Kai chuckles, "Do you have to ask, Min? I would." 

Naoki nods, "Same goes for me too! Aichi is our Cardfight Club captain, isn't he? Besides, it wouldn't be the same without him by our side and enter the national championship!" 

Min turns to Kourin, "Kourin, I get the feeling that you wanted to go back, but there's something else, isn't?

I really want you both to come back home. I believe that there's a way for all of us to go back to Earth." 

I said, "No, there's no way! I have the Seed of Link Joker! If I go back, Link Joker will infect the people again, to become the Reverse! " 

Min begins to form a small smile, "Aichi, Link Joker wouldn't do that. I think Planet Cray is allowing Link Joker to be an ally , to be a clan of Planet Cray, like all the other clans living there." 

"I-Impossible." I said, but then Ratie said, "Nothing is impossible, Aichi. Your friend, Min is absolutely right. I can sense it. Link Joker is actually apologizing for all the evil deeds he has done. Even Shadow Paladins forgiven him as we speak. " 

Min said, holding the card before her, resuming the game, "Stand up one more time, my Vanguard, Blaster Girl! 

And with her ability, I can use Legion once more! Seek the mate!" 

A new unit appears with Blaster Girl . 

"Shining Armor , Queen Genevie! Genevie , attack Aichi! " Min said.  

I groaned as the match ended as I knew that I was in pain. 

"Aichi!" Kai exclaimed in worry. 

"Aichi, no!" Kourin said, as I look at the Royal Paladins deck. It glowed as Kai and Min exchanged an glance. 

Without hesitating, they knew exactly what each other was thinking. 

"Blaster Girl! " Min summoned. 

"Blaster Blade, come on out and let's unite as one to help Link Joker's Seed to split into our bodies!" 

The Units came as I imagined all of us, including Kamui , Miwa, and Misaki helping us out as the red light Seed were split as it went inside all of us. 

I felt it within as I watch Min and the others felt it too. 

As it ended, I glance around.  

"Is it really over? Is Joker gone?"

Blaster Blade explains, "Not entirely, my Vanguard. The Seed of Link Joker has a new purpose now. It will continue it's cycle of spreading and owning hosts, but not for evil. 

It would have the host of a Cardfighter who also has strength and a goodwill heart to lend a helping hand. " 

 I sigh with total relief as Min said, "I told you, Aichi. You'll never be alone ever again. " 

I smiled, but I couldn't hold on as Min and Kai hold me . 

"It's all over, Aichi." Kai said.  

"Aichi! Aichi, wake up!" I saw I wasn't in the Moon Palace , but in my own bedroom, with Emi . 

"Come on, you're making Min and Kai waiting. " She said, "Eat your breakfast and go already!" 

It seems like everyone's memories had returned, as it should be. 

But can Min and the other really accept my forgiveness after what I put them through?
